I think that for the things they do, $35 a night for boarding is a price that can't be beat. They offer group play or one on one play. Drop off and pick up are easy to navigate. Their location is very close to the Great Wolf lodge. Bryan was happy to show me the kennels upon request, Scott was kind enough to give us some tips on building our dog's confidence, and Gale was professional at all times. The presentation of the facility was clean, bright, and organized. The kennels are indoors with a platform that is attached to the wall. I can tell they spent a lot of time on their website as well, providing a plethora of info for you to indulge in should you have any questions. With that said, I do have some small qualms. I sent my dog's shot records as requested via email but I did not receive a confirmation of the receipt. When I called a couple days before our reservation to double check, I had learned that they did in fact receive my email but my dog did not have all his shot records present when I thought that he did. I was flustered at the thought of driving so far on the day of to potentially just getting rejected because we were missing information. Secondly, my dog definitely didn't use the potty enough. This may not have been at the fault of the trainers considering my guy probably held it in but he had thee longest pee of his life that I've ever seen after I picked him up. Since there's no knowing for sure how often supervision over potty breaks happen, my recommendation for all the first timers would be to not board your anxious dog. Overall we are satisfied with the experience.

They have pick up and drop off at set times (9-10 and 4-5) and are always onsite and ready to help when I arrive and leave. I picked up my dogs today - they were clean and happy. Darcie always greets me with a smile and is helpful, friendly and professional. I've also had some training sessions/consultations with Jim before and after buying a dog. He was an excellent resource and gave me guidance without trying to nickel and dime me. After I got my puppy I had a consultation about raising a dog (to avoid behavior problems I've experienced in the past). Jim gives honest advice and is a very straight shooter. I appreciate his directness because at the end of the day I want a dog that is safe and good member of my family.

My husband had to physically carry him out of the vehicle. When I contacted the business, I spoke with Maddy at the front desk, who reassured me that my dog had not sustained an injury while in their care. However, I was not present and was never shown any video footage or documentation to support that claim, which left me with serious concerns about what actually happened. Months later, I received a brief email asking me to update my information in their portal. I responded honestly and shared how unsettled I still felt about the previous incident. Shortly after, a staff member called and said they would be happy to schedule grooming appointments for my dogs since they hadn't been in for a while. However, when I arrived to pick them up, I was told that my dogs were not actually scheduled for grooming but that they "accommodated them anyway." I was then informed that Friendly Grove would no longer be grooming dogs at all. The entire interaction felt incredibly confusing and dismissive, and it came across as though they were simply trying to push us out as customers. They offered a $120 credit for that service and essentially told us to find another groomer. My dogs had been going there for years, and $120 doesn't even cover the cost of a single grooming service. After years of loyalty, the lack of transparency, accountability, and communication was extremely disappointing. I expected far better treatment from a place we trusted with our pets for so long.

My dog doesn't have the best manners - but they see him for the big love that he is. They smile as big as he does when they see each other. They remember tiny details about his silly personality quirks. (Usually just seeing him once a year for a few days) They care for all of his needs and bring him so much joy. The first time they even texted details about his day to help us feel more comfortable leaving him at a new place. Every time he comes home from Sylvan, we can tell he misses all the friends he made at the kennel - human and other dog friends. Honestly, we would never consider taking him anywhere else at this point. Pro tip - the grooming and nail trimming service is worth every penny - and such a reasonable cost.

I was told i could drop him off at 7 and no one was there so idk how they feed the dogs at 7 , it probably more like 8am and 2pm feeding schedule idk olay whatever, so they go to get my dog so we could go home and he is soaking wet , yeah it was raining i get it but did he have somewhere to get out the rain , I've known my dog for 9 years and he wont go off the porch if its raining lol so there is that , and with the daily reports they say he was friendly and wanted loves and cuddles and petting lmao . For 9 years he dont ever want cuddles or pets , hes a fetch driven dog 24hr a day i highly doubt, he wanna love and cuddles and pets. It was horrendous coughing and coughing up phleg. I had to take them both to an emergency vet clinic because my regular vet had no openings. Yes, they had Kennel cough and they needed two prescriptions each. This vet visit was more than the dogs visit at the kennel. I called the kennel and reported my dogs were sick, and in a voice that didn't sound to sorry, told me we're sorry and no other dogs have been sick. My dogs are in a fenced acre yard and were near no other dogs. This kennel has lost my business.
