Had this for a work party the other day the pizza was fantastic pepperoni cooked crispy just like the crust calzones were great of the show. May have been the focaccia chicken palm sandwiches top notch. The only downside is parking but when there's a will, there's a way and it's very very good quality food in an area that hasn't held the restaurant more than four months this place is gonna be there for a long time. read more

I wish I found out about Nelly's sooner! We did a pick up order on Thursday during their pizza special. The man behind the counter knew which order was mine when we stepped inside. I couldn't wait to get home to try everything. Man, their pizza is so good! It's flavorful and crispy and cooked to perfection. Dave from Barstool sports..this should be your next stop. We also ordered the tenders and mozzarella sticks which were eaten and gone before a picture could be taken. The Gerald chicken sandwich was massive! My husband I split it and were stuffed. Stop here off 495. Service not the best, ordered from a nice lady on the phone showed up was 110 degrees bald kid rang it up said nothing. Not being from Haverhill and wanted to cool off the truck the result was worth the stop. Excellent cheesesteak and the meatballs on the sub were like the size of raquetballs wow and good sauce n bread. Recommend! read more

Let me start by saying Nellys hands down has the best pizza in Haverhill. Their specialty pizzas are amazing. Tried a steak bomb calzone which was also fantastic. Ok now here comes the negative. This is the second year in a row I have ordered from them for my birthday party. Last year I called in the morning for a 6:00 delivery and the driver showed up finally around 6:40. I have 10+ people waiting at my house for food. Before I could even sign the credit card slip he said something along the lines of "you better be tipping me" and I said what? I ALWAYS tip. 20% or usually more. For any service, any delivery, etc. Even though it was 40 minutes late I was still planning to tip him. This interaction was partially recorded on my door camera. Even after this comment I still tipped him but it really rubbed me the wrong way. He was saying that the owner told him to "ask people for tips" because he wasn't receiving a lot of tips. I think he made that up but that's besides the point. Anyways fast forward a year to today. We had never had any issues picking up ourselves so decided to do pick up this year. Called 5+ hours in advance for a 5:45 pick up and paid over the phone. Well my sister passed by on the way to my house so she offered to pick up. She was there at 5:45 and the pizzas were not even in the oven yet. She did not get the pizzas until 6:08. 23 min after they were supposed to be ready. She said that no one else was in there and didn't seem busy. There is no excuse for the pizzas not to be ready when we called over 5 hours in advance and was told they would be ready at 5:45. After two times I just felt compelled to write this review. I had all of my guests at my house at 6:00 waiting for pizza for the second year in a row. If it was just me I would be a lot more patient but it's honestly embarrassing to have guests over and have the food not ready on time. We have never had a problem when ordering pick up for just my fiancé and I. It's only been when I order ahead for a party. This was extremely frustrating for the second year in a row so I just want to warn anyone who wanted to order ahead for a party to be prepared to wait long after the time you were promised. Next year I unfortunately will have to order elsewhere for my birthday party, but we will continue ordering pick up when it's just the two of us. Unrelated but I miss the loaded potatoes pizza that was one of my all time favorite pizzas. read more

I went here for the first time the other night. When I went to pick up my order no one acknowledged us and actually ignored us. Then when we went to pay the man gave me two different totals and followed it up with "give or take"... I work in the service industry tell me the price for the product, there's no give and take. Personally I find that sketchy. Then when we got home we had the wrong order. To top it off the next day my stomach was upset and required a lot of time spent in the bathroom. Classic example of a hole in the wall. From the outside, Nelly's doesn't look like much but inside, you'll get delicious food and great service. My husband had a massive burger and fries and I had the loaded Cesar salad. Both were fantastic. Our order was great to start but the owner (incredibly kind and personable guy) offered to season them for us and oh boy, best decision. The seasoned fries were to die for. The salad was equally as good. The chicken was grilled fresh; not pre-made or frozen like you get at a lot of other places. If you're driving through or are from the area, I highly recommend Nelly's. My husband and I are adding Nelly's to our list of favorites. We will happily make the hour drive from our home in Maine for a delicious meal at Nelly's. read more

First time eating here and wow were we blown away with this find! The fries have an amazing seasoning that reminds me of ramen and are cooked so crispy. Guys, I've tried and tried here but I just can't anymore. The food is always usually good which is why it hurts me to even give you 3 stars , but the wait time I've exhausted my patience. Everytime I've ordered you say 45 min , ok fine - reasonable for a weekend. But I feel like it's a blanket wait time when we call and there's no skin in it ... each time me or my husband have come to pick up, we pay and then the order is going in to be made after we wait to show up like 45-50 min later (every single time ) I expect to show up , grab my bag and go within the hour at very best ... my husband is standing down there steaming right now he has roughy another 25-30 min wait standing around waiting after he paid . Again if this was a here and there that is one thing but it's every time , don't get me wrong we are not faithful every weekend warriors but we try to look at things like it's a small business or maybe people called out ... I'm realizing time management is a big issue here and I've read this in other reviews and kinda brushed it off . I like fresh food yes - but I also like my food made before I show up read more

This was my first time going to Nellys and without a doubt i will go back!! calling to place the order i was greeted promptly and friendly.. the place inside is so adorable with sit in tables which i wasnt aware of ..super cute deco on the walls too.. the staff was so quick and making eye contact with smiles.. thr pizzas were to die for delicious..we also got a small chicken finger whuch was great and seasoned fries which were also delicious! it was so nice to have found this hidden gem!!!! Discovered Nelly's Kitchen from Merrimack Valley Eats and let me just say, they do not disappoint!! The portion size is PERFECT for leftovers and every item I've tried so far is so infused with delicious herbs and spices. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with their meatball sub or any of the owner's carefully crafted specialty sandwiches. We ordered from Nelly's shortly after they had first opened due to raving reviews on social media. We got two specialty pizzas delivered (buffalo chicken and a bacon/ pineapple which both came out great! We will be ordering again and trying more of their menu. BY FAR the BEST pizza shop I've ever been to! Everything is homemade and super fresh! The chicken Parmesan sub/chicken parm with penne is so delicious. Their homemade sauce is to die for! Tried the chicken broccoli Alfredo and when I say this a must try, I'm not joking! Their salads are always fresh & served with warm homemade pita bread. Their burgers are HUGE and made perfectly. The owner is so friendly and really cares about his customers. Every time we go in he takes the time to talk and ask how the food is. The women that work the register are super friendly as well! I went there last night and my daughter had to use the bathroom. You have to walk through a gross dish room of piled up dishes and Pana and the floor is slippery. You can also see into the kitchen and the cooks don't wear gloves. Gross. read more
