So disappointed today with Stone Crust Pizza. We always enjoy their pizza and fries. Today, we ordered to go a couple sandwiches, 2 orders of fries and chicken tenders. It wasn't until we were 20 minutes down the road that we unpacked the food only to find the fries burnt to a crisp (maybe 12 were barely edible) and the chix tenders were way overcooked. My daughter who loves all things chicken couldn't eat them. $30.00 down the drain. A lot of young people working who seemed to be goofing off and not monitoring quality of the food before it goes to a table or in a box. They had to have seen how crappy the fries and tenders were and they still boxed them up.

Was walking along newburyport and stumbled across this place we were visiting from NYC and were craving pizza. We ordered a margarita pizza. The pizza's flavor was ok. There was plenty of sauce and basil but there were parts of the pie /slices that had absolutely no cheese on it. The crust was tasty very crispy but would be considered a thin crust in NYC. The staff were attentive not overly friendly. The decor was modern gray brick with black metal trim and tables .The menu was this large wall display on the side of the ordering counter which i thought was great . Your not standing in front of a counter gazing up like a deer in headlights while the staff wait for you to take in all the possibilities. Getting pizza anywhere outside of NYC is being adventurous and optimistic to say the least.

Great food. Funny, we went looking for pizza and ended up with burgers and wedge fries. Small sit down area in store. Giant sized wall menu described each ingredient that made up the various pizzas, burgers and salads. I went for the farm burger. Ham, bacon, egg, ground beef patty, mixed cheeses, lettuce, onion, tomato, mayo and ketchup. I obviously made some changes. No salads on my burgers. Off with the lettuce, onion and tomato as well as the ketchup. Within minutes, I had a hot off the grill, juicy, ever so slightly pink, delicious farm burger!! An outstanding burger experience after a 500 hundred mile trip. With my burger were wedgie fries. Small cuts and pieces of steak fries, but maybe they double fried them? Every single fry was crispy and salted to perfection. Washed it all down with a Dr. Pepper from a small beverage fridge and was thoroughly content. Staff were friendly and got everything I needed. I would most definitely do it again!!!

My son has severe dairy and nut allergies and have never been able to try a simple pizza from an actual pizza place. Stone Crust has a nut-free vegan pizza that he could actually have. He loved it. The service is fast, prices fair, and the food is great. They also now have allergy and vegetarian options. They are also one of the few places with the traditional perfect sub topping's of onions pickles and hots I highly recommend Stone Crust.

Their slices ate a quarter of a pizza! And they are not kidding when they say "stone". The bottom crust is crispy and crunchy and the crust itself also has a crisp crunch. Normally I don't eat the crust. I eat the crust at Stone Crust. The sauce is delicious. Not that acidic sauce you get at some pizza joints. Cheese...delicious. All at a very affordable price. There is seating outside and some inside. They also serve subs and all kinds of sandwiches and calzone. They're open til 9 pm all nights and on Fridays And Saturdays til 1 am at the window. Recently went back again and bought a whole pie this time! Check it out! You will be glad you did.

A friend and I were hanging out on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and needed a mid-day snack. Pizza was calling our name so we stopped in for two slices. Available in slices were cheese, pepperoni and a veggie. My friend had her heart on cheese and I would have gotten the veggie except it was covered with chopped olives which I do not like at all so I opted for cheese too! The slices are $3.97 each but generous in size, about a 1/4 of a 14 in pie I would guess. The crust was thin and crispy after they warmed the slices in the oven. The cheese was plentiful and not too salty. Service was friendly and quick. We would return again. The only downside was the topping selection of the slices.

Always amazing pizza with staff that are friendly. Great for a slice on the go or a couple pies for the family. I've been going here since I moved to NBPT a few months ago and it has become my #1 pizza place hands down. Highly recommend. read more

Walked around Newburyport for the day, looking for pizza for a quick lunch and stopped by Stone Crust. Loved their crust, on thinner side and crisp - we got the fig pizza which was a tad sweet for us but it was good! They even brought our water for the pups as we sat outside and ate. Will definitely be back whenever we come back to the town. read more

Service was great. Little cute place downtown, clean and quite. They sell pizza by the slice or a whole pizza, they also have other options. It was a little spendy for what we got. Wife like the crust, but the overall taste just wasn't there for me. read more

Ordered delivery so I don't have an opinion on what the inside/outside of the place looks like. We ordered two large pizzas: a cheese and a broccoli onion one. The broccoli and onion was my favorite. I love how crispy the broccoli came out and the onions made it flavorful. The crust was thin but not too thin. The cheese pizza was good as well but not as good as the other. I feel like the cheese pizza was a bit boring compared to other pizza places. The pizza was a bit on the greasy side as well. I had to soak off the grease at the top with my napkin. Overall, the pizza was delicious for a quick dinner meal. Delivery speed was average, about an hour but they were probably busy with takeout orders. I would order again from here but get something other than cheese pizza next time. read more

Used to get pizza frequently from Stone Crust. Was very good. However... Every time I go by in the past months and look in the window (you can see workers from the street) the employees have no masks or masks pulled down under their chin. They're just young people working at a pizza joint, but it looks so unappetizing and so unappealing during this endless pandemic that i keep passing them up and will continue to do so. Today we ordered an italian sub. I asked how big was the sub roll, when the employee showed me the roll, I noticed mold on it. I also noticed mold on another sub roll from the same package. I told the employee that there was mold on the roll and they couldn't serve people those rolls. Thinking they would get and use a fresh package of rolls (my mistake!!!) we took our sub to our picnic. When we got there we noticed the sub roll did indeed have mold on it. Being too far away at this point to return to the shop, we had to toss the sub. I just don't understand serving a moldy roll to people. read more

So glad I decided to try this pizza joint. While walking around town I swear that 1 in 5 people I saw was carrying a black pizza box and it got me curious. After a quick search yes! Stone Crust is the place! I had a sm Margherita pizza that was out of this world! It was a thin crust just the way I like it. The pizza has the perfect crispiness and sauce to mozzarella ratio. Great tasting thin and crispy pizza. Pepperoni had a nice kick to it. Available in slices or a full pie. Limited seating inside and out, but NBPRT has plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy your food on the go. Order ahead as this place is usually very busy. read more

Pizza is really great but the service or maybe the way I was treated I felt that maybe these young kids need retraining. Not one person greeted when my girl and I walked in the door and during ordering everything seem like not just one person but the other person at the register had a bad attitude. Sat there to eat one slice of pizza eat and mind you that I knew they would be closing in 35mins and still by the time we was done eating and was walking out none of the employees even said goodbye or have a good nigh, but instead walked right behind me to shut and lock the door approximately 15mins to closing time. By far they don't have customer service. read more

The pizza and the calzone were great! The crust was really fresh and delicious. The pizza sauce was sweet with a little zest. Delivery was fast but both items must have fallen because both the pizza and calzone had slid completely to one side of the box. read more

We were a party of 8 staying at the garrison inn. We ordered online (10% discount) and it took no longer than 15 minutes. We ordered 3 small pizzas...the stone house, Reubenette, and the filetti. All of them were fantastic, but the favorite was the reubanette. read more

Small party of two on a random Monday evening, it was clean, our custom pizza came our quickly and was easily the best pizza I have ever had. Definitely a good spot in the square if you're looking for a good (and DIFFERENT!) pizza to share or just a slice for yourself. Lots of awesome options on the menu. We'll be back! read more

Pizza is fine enough, but literally ZERO of the staff are wearing masks. And there's a lot of them - maybe 7-10 people on an average Friday or Saturday night, plus whoever's in the shop waiting. You have to go inside to pay, and try not to get sick of the goddamn PLAGUE. I don't fault the workers - they're a bunch of kids probably getting shit pay, but I definitely fault the owners for not enforcing this. Plus, the owners should be putting up plexiglass barriers between the workers and the customers - there's none of that. You get the sense that the owners don't give two hoots about their customers' safety, nor that of their employees. read more

We had a large pizza with 1/2 portobellos and 1/2 banana peppers and Roni on the whole thing. I only ate the banana pepper half but it was really good. It was delivered quickly and was super hot upon delivery. read more

This place nailed it! We were up for a day trip to Newburyport (which is gorgeous) to break the quarantine monotony when we needed lunch. We ordered a small cheese (for the kids), a small Port-Italia (for us), and a chicken kabob salad. The pizzas were both very tasty, the fig one being really special, and the salad was fresh and tasty with nicely grilled chicken. The price was reasonable and the staff was very friendly and gave good ordering tips to help a first time customer. Everything was quick and easy to pickup and even the bathroom was clean! read more

Great location, with a late night window. Very cool interior design. Best item: **Croque Monsieur Pizza!** Soo good, and unique. Where else would you find that? They even have a Cubano pizza. Didn't try it but it's my favorite sandwich, so next time. And the grilled cheese sandwich with ham is pretty much like a Croque Monsieur sandwich. Probably the best sandwich I ever had! Hands down the best pizza place to go to! I'm a vegan and have trouble finding places that have dairy free options, especially vegan cheese. But Stone Crust Pizza has daiya vegan mozzarella! I'm so happy, thank you for accommodating to those who don't eat dairy or eggs! The pizza was well cooked, crunchy and thin which I like. My boyfriend enjoyed it too! Will definitely be returning. read more

Upon entry, I noticed the location was very well organized and clean. The wrap-around cases of meat, take and go, all kinds of grill items (chicken, steak, tips, burgers, sausage) and then the butcher, ready to cut whatever you need. Boars Head meats are available, which are my favorite. A wall of drinks from craft beer, soda and water to name just a few were cold and ready for purchase. I ordered my favorite....a roast beef panini with yellow mustard, pickles and caramelized onions on a ciabatta roll. My brother ordered his favorite, a turkey sub with mustard and lettuce. Again, both sandwiches had Boars Head meat. The staff was ready to take orders. There was plenty of employees willing to help and answer any questions that we had. As I said earlier, it was busy but the customers were managed very well. I have to share a story. My former favorite spot for my roast beef panini was the Corner Store, Chatham. However, after COVID, they decided to discontinue there panini's, which was an absolute heartbreaker! I have never had a bad sandwich there! I have spent a long time trying to find a comparable sandwich and I finally have! My panini here at Bucciarelli's matches the Corner Store! It was awesome....warm, fresh bread....delicious roast beef and the perfect amount of mustard, pickle and caramelized onions! I plan to make my way back for sure! My brother enjoyed his turker sandwich, as well. He is a new fan, too! Finally, I found some incredible Irish Potato chips, which I have never seen before. We both ordered the Brazilian cheese bread sandwich, not because of the GF, but because we loved the little cheese bread balls that we had while visiting friends in Brazil. I ordered with the hash browns, which turned out to be REAL potato made here, not a Mc-patty pulled from the freezer. Great seasoning and perfectly cooked. The sandwich had a little spinach, well cooked egg (not too runny, but maybe a hint more than needed), and smoky bacon on a split cheese bread "roll." It was super hot when served; I finished almost all of my potato before I could eat it - no complaints on temperature. The flavor was really good - and unique. My only concerns were that the bacon was "tough" so that a bite tended to pull out the whole strip. It wasn't bad, but maybe a crispy bacon would bite more cleanly. The other issue, and really the only significant one, was the density of the cheese bread. I expected something similar to the cheese bread balls, which have a texture similar to a good Italian bread (not the squishy supermarket kind). This was almost solid. We've made the cheese bread balls at home, with good success, so I'll try the different shape - maybe for burgers! - and see if it's a challenge. I'll come back to explain if the experiment to make fluffier buns is not successful. Meanwhile, the place filled up and some of the other menu items looked really good. We're very likely to go back for a lunch.

I went in last Monday night. Stone crust has always been my favorite pizza place, the food is great there. It's very clean the staff are so helpful the lady taking my order was very nice, super informative and not to mention very pretty! The staff making the food always does such a nice job. The girls working at stonecrust used to know what they were doing. Now they have no clue what to do. My order has been messed up not once, but two times! I dont know if they hired new people to take our orders, but the ones I used to always see just aren't there anymore. What is happening to stonecrust?! I came into stone crust today and the pizza was delicious the girls at the table taking my order were very polite however the cooks cooking my order were using there electronic devices, not washing there hands and swearing. I have no issue just wash your hands before touching MY food. read more
