During winterization, Marty pointed out that I had a leaky valve, but assured me it could wait until spring and would be a cheap/easy fix. My wife made an appointment after finally getting somebody on the phone during the busy spring season, as the leak was going at a good rate. The soonest we could get was 5 days from then. They did not show up on the scheduled day at 11:30 (or at all), and did not call. Once again, we couldn't get the office/scheduler on the phone again either. Called again the following morning and had to leave another voice message. Then they showed at 1:30 with no prior call and laughed it of when my wife asked them why they missed yesterday's appt and showed up out of the blue today! After a quick look at the system, my wife was told that it'd be a quick fix, but that it would also be expensive, laughing like it was part of a funny joke. One guy fixed it in five minutes replacing a plastic part and charged us $60 (knocked down to $50 since we have a common friend) and a comment about how my wife was "easy on the eyes," some something equally inappropriate. The whole ordeal came off as unprofessional and sketchy since SMS identified the leak last year as a "cheap/easy" fix. When I asked him about that statement, I was told that he "meant that if the leak fixed itself over the winter it'd be a cheap fix"....???? So $20 for the plastic part and $40 for a 5 minute "service call" that was at best confused by a whole day and 2 hrs later than scheduled for an ongoing leak that he identified last year as an issue compared to a winterize/dewinterize visit that took about 40 min and cost $40. Pretty disappointed.

When you have a busted head and water is shooting everywhere, you want someone there yesterday, not next Tuesday. The price was reasonable, though, I'll give them that. The technician knew what he was doing and got the head fixed pretty quickly once he arrived. What I appreciated was that he also took the time to adjust my Rachio controller settings without me even asking. That was a nice touch since most irrigation guys fix the immediate problem and bolt. The work itself was solid - no complaints there. The new head is working perfectly and hasn't given me any issues since. It's just that initial response time that knocked them down from what could've been a 4-star experience. Would I call them again? Probably, but I'd plan next time instead of treating it like an emergency. If you're not in a rush and want decent work at a fair price, they'll get the job done.

He stood me up time and time again and I'm done so that I gave him 6 weeks and then he had my system on a timer on his phone only he can work and now he forgot to turn the backyard on and burnt my yard that I just paid 19,000 for in the back and it's all burned up very irresponsible. I would only recommend maybe a sprinkler blowout but no big jobs. He never came back to put the system on my phone or to show me what kind of system it was nothing I was out of town. He told my husband when I got back. He would put it on my phone, I've waited six weeks and I'm done waiting.
