After a disjointed call tow service with another tow service, my roadside assistance provider Connect arranged another tow service to come to my house. Turbo Tow lmk that their calls to my phone goes straight to voicemail. Alex from Turbo Tow text messaged me to clarify their position. It was nice of him to follow up. He advised for me to call the other service so as not to miss their call attempts. I did and spoke to a very nice lady whom I regret did not ask her name She lmk that the tow truck is in the vicinity. Mr Nelson arrived quickly. The official eta was 35-60 minutes, but he made it in 20. My 2007 Prius had a dead battery which he charged from the rear in no time at all. The car started. I didn't need a tow after all. I really love this tow company! They are so nice and I love how easy-going and friendly they are on the phone. I have a 1973 Ford F350 Flatbed truck and they never give me a hard time about towing her from here to there when I have issues. Yesterday I needed my truck moved from in front of my house to my driveway and called AAA who denied me as they told me it was a "convenience" call. They told me I had to call A local tow company because they would not help me. They were only taking emergency calls only. Technically this was an emergency because thanks to a nosy neighbor, the police had asked me to move my vehicle Otherwise it would be towed. Luckily I knew about Nelson's, so I called them and they came within 20 minutes! The driver Brad who I've worked with before with my truck is like a surgeon with that tow truck lol... and it was raining! $60 and 30 minutes after the call later ... The job was done. If I could give this place a zero I would. First, I never leave reviews, but this place needs it. After getting the run around from this place who was working with our insurance to get a tow for our fifth wheel they tell us to go find someone else. But wait, that was after four hours, yes that's right four hours of waiting that this company said, oh sorry we can get out to you. We have had a busy day and some missed communication with our drivers. Could they not have said that to us earlier ago. Probably not because they wanted to make some money. Thankfully our insurance was able to find us another tow vehicle and they showed up within half an hour. read more

I've had a LOT of tows over the past few years due to a few lemon vehicles, and let me say that Nelson's was probably the most pleasant tow experience I've ever had. Excellent experience and would definitely use them again, which I've never said about any tow company before!! My oversize vehicle broke down on the freeway in the middle of the night and AAA and Geico said they couldn't find anyone to help me :O I started calling tow companies on my own and Nelson's answered right away even though it was 1AM. Nelson himself came and picked me up. He was extremely careful loading and unloading my vehicle, which is very large and requires skates during loading to avoid scraping the pavement when it tilts. I was very impressed with how carefully he treated my vehicle as many tow truck drivers don't bother, scrape it up, and need to be asked multiple times and directed while using the skates. I was having a really awful night being stuck on the freeway and Nelson was so so kind and really helped make me feel better. He towed us about 40 miles. I few days later I called to request an invoice so I can bill it to my insurance company on my own, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly and emailed me a scan of the invoice right away. Excellent experience and would definitely use them again, which I've never said about any tow company before!! read more

If I could give no stars, I would. March 13 a driver from Nelson's Towing Services arrived at my home to tow my vehicle to a local repair shop. While attempting to winch my car from my driveway onto the flatbed, the driver sheered off one of the rear tow hooks and damaged the muffler and exhaust system. The negligent driver should have loaded my vehicle from the front because it is front wheel drive. I must now go through the hassle of arranging with my insurance to repair the damage to my car that this thoughtless driver caused. Once the car was loaded, the driver left long webbing straps hanging off the flatbed that dragged in the street while he drove. The driver told the repair shop he would drop the broken tow hook off, but did not follow through. I cannot recommend this business. read more

After an hour and half, first toe service bailed on us leaving us stranded. Hazem and his Dad came through and arrived 20 minutes later when they said they would. Car was delivered to our dealer. My car broke down on Highway 12 tonight and it took a little longer than expected for the driver to show up, but upon arrival, the driver apologized immediately. I had called for the ETA and told him I was female and alone and it was already dark. He said that he would rush to get to me and he arrived immediately. I want to personally thank one of your driver's, Brad. This guy was awesome this morning. Brad picked up my 2019 Shelby GT350 today and hauled it to the dealer for repairs. Brad took extra care and precautions facilitating the upload and offload of my car, knowing full well that the car had low clearance issues, thus preventing any damage to my vehicle. Brad knew exactly how to prep the car and made me feel confident in his ability to get the job done. I am so very thankful for the amazing service that Lance provided for me. I had contacted him to ask him about his time arrival and that I needed to get to a les shwab before closing and he cut over an hour and a half of time off of my wait to ensure that I make it to les shwab on time. He also noticed that my car was idling strangely and he helped me with a quick fix on my air filter to allow it to feed air properly. I am only giving one star because I have no choice. I would give zero stars if possible. Can't comment on to their service because after 2 1/2 hours of waiting I had farmers roadside assistance cancel with them. I have a RAV4 that is all-wheel-drive and requires a flatbed to tow it. Maybe that had something to do with how long it was taking. But I still don't understand how if I am told by roadside assistance that the tow will be there between 45 minutes and 60 minutes and an hour and a half later when I contact the roadside service they get back to me to say they are being told it will be another 15 minutes then why is it they never show! After looking at so many other of the reviews I can see that this is a very sloppy run company and I can guarantee they will never have a customer in me as well as for the next couple days that's all I will be talking about is how Nelsons tow company screwed my day over. read more

My dad's car had an accident at Napa around 4:10. We finally got a Tow truck at 6:40 and there was another problem. The insurance gave Nelson the wrong address, instead of taking us to Fairfield where we live, they gave him another address in Napa. He was pretty annoyed/mad at the insurance and us. Nelson kept calling and calling and even told us to call for about 20 minutes. Me and my dad got tired of waiting so my dad asked him how much would it be to take us to Fairfield? He said another $100 dollars. My dad DID NOT Have to pay because it wasn't our fault so I called his insurance for him. As Time goes by, Nelson got $75 dollars because of their mistake And for the ride there and he was still a bit mad. We finally arrived home around 8:30 and my dad gave him another $25 dollars. I would Have gave him 5 stars if he didn't blame us for the mistakes or for asking for us to pay. But he did a good thing and didn't leave us like how other Towing people do when they didn't get the correct amount of money they want. Nice man read more
