Ron is THE most knowledgeable insurance broker I have ever done business with, and I have tried several. He is head and shoulders better than all the rest. He helped us find the right health insurance for our grand-daughter, who has some complicated needs. He spent hours analyzing the different plans and going over the different possibilities with me. Like everyone here is saying, Ron is a lifesaver. He walks you through your options for your age, your condition, your doctors and helps you find the plan that best works for you. Healthcare.gov this year is mis-leading in that ADC (Austin Diagnostic Clinic) will no longer accept Sendero or Ambetter or BCBS HMO in 2018. So if you actually need medical care you may need to go off the marketplace. Oh and I thought maybe I could shop across state lines for health care after Trump's proclamation a few weeks ago, but he said not for individuals and not yet for many months (congress, etc). Ron is super helpful and kind, and I'm glad that he's the insurance agent I pretty much randomly decided to call when I needed help. Until September, I had always had health insurance through an employer (or none at all), and I was really confused about buying my own health insurance post-Affordable Care Act enactment. I did a couple of really stupid things in my attempt to acquire a plan I could afford, and I decided I needed to talk to someone who knew what s/he was talking about. Ron Nemetz came up in a Google search. I called him, got a quick appointment to talk to him, and went to his office, which is clean, private, comfortable, and easy to find. Ron helped me with EVERYTHING. He explained the plans and the way the marketplace works in plain English with patience and humor, figured out my subsidy (for which I didn't even know I was eligible, though I guess I should have), and looked around to make sure that the doctors I saw would take X or Y plan before I bought it. He even uploaded documents for me. When I actually need the kind of insurance that will make Ron money (note that he did all of this for no renumeration), I'll definitely go to him because I know I can trust him and that he actually cares about people. He made my insurance-buying experience as painless as possible, and I really appreciate that, especially since I'd just moved to the state and was having a tough time (financially and otherwise).
