My initial efforts to find a health insurance plan may have ended with me yelling at the computer to "speak English!" After finding a broker who can explain my options (free of charge!), I'm puzzled as to why you'd ever choose to fend for yourself. Unlike an insurance broker that works for one company and is more interested in fitting you into one of their plans than finding the best plan for you, Ron is payed by several companies, and this lack of bias works in your favor. He explained everything in plain English, even meeting with me (at night, when it was more convenient for me) so that I could compare my options side by side and ask questions. He stayed in contact throughout the process without hounding me every day, and he helped me whip through the paperwork quickly. Before finding my full time job, as a new graduate out of college, I was in need of some health insurance for a few months. My mom had worked with him in the past so I gave him a call.
