Also, there's generally a crowd sitting outside, enjoying their sweet treat of choice. Luckily the weather tends to cool down and there's a breeze in the evening to make this super enjoyable. And it's not your thing they conveniently have a drive-through also. I love the specials that they offer and I always forget that there's hot dogs and other food options. We got a kiwi berry sundae. The custard is great and the sundae was simple with fresh kiwis and strawberries and it was topped with cream. It was delicious. We also got a dirty soda. The special sprite is like Sonic's ocean water...only better. Add vanilla and blueberries to the sprite and coconut. There were so many blueberries and they came through the straw making it even more fun to drink. It was refreshing and delicious. The service was great and they were super quick. We loved our experience here. It was a great dessert stop.

Heart of the Desert Pistachios & Wine - Came for Pistachios, Left with Wine…read more We stopped here with a simple mission: grab a few bags of pistachios as gifts for friends back home. Easy, right? Well... not quite. The store itself is quaint and charming, filled with all kinds of temptations. Pistachios in every form, chocolates, wines, and gift options that make you rethink your original plan. You can taste a little of everything, which is both delightful and dangerous. Then we stepped out onto the patio with our pistachio ice cream, and wow... completely unexpected. The space is gorgeous. Calm, open, and the kind of place that makes you slow down without even trying. Honestly, if I lived nearby, I'd be planning celebrations here without a second thought. Somewhere between the views and the tasting, I tried their pistachio rosé. And yes, I had the same reaction, "wait... what?" But it worked. Different, pleasant, and surprisingly good. Good enough that I completely abandoned my pistachio gift plan and walked out with several bottles instead. A much more unique surprise. The staff were warm and welcoming, adding to the whole experience. No rush, no pressure, just genuine friendliness. We didn't have as much time as I would have liked, and that's probably the only downside. This is the kind of place where you want to linger longer, taste more, and just enjoy the moment. Came for pistachios. Left with wine and zero regrets.

How about those shiny floors everywhere! It's not just about amazing pistachios (though they're so good )--it's about the passion and purpose that go into everything you do. The inviting patio to sip on wine amongst the carefully pruned trees was a bonus Grateful for such an inspiring experience, especially Melissia and Sabrine. #SupportLocal #SustainableFarming #Gratitude

The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.

Lots of memorabilia and gifts inside. I highly recommend the pistachio brittle. It is freakin' delicious. Sample and take home some of your favorite pistachio flavors. These are great gifts for anything house or pet sitting. Speaking of pets, dogs are welcome inside so I supposed as long as they are well-behaved - don't leave them in your vehicle.
