You know it's a good sign when you don't have pictures of the food you ordered because it was inhaled the minute it reached your table. Located in a part of town you would not expect, this place serves delicious authentic Nepalese food.

Great restaurant! Our waiter, who I assume is also the owner/part owner, was telling us his food is amazing. We ordered the Pork Momos and the Chicken Thupka, both really tasty! The momo stuffing was seasoned well and the sauce almost reminded me of a Tikka Masala sauce. He told us he was from the East side of Nepal close to India, which would explain the close resemblance. The Chicken Thupka was full of flavor and really hits the spot on this snowy cold night. Will return to try more items on their menu!

This place is incredible. Two words - Authentic and Amazing! If you know what Indian Chinese street food tastes like, this is honestly the only place in the US where I've tasted that after India. This is a tiny little place in a tiny little corner, just after mount Oliver. If you're around Southside, this place is just a 15 minute drive. We ordered the veg chow mein, veg momo, veg thukpa and samosa. They served samosa with chole! And oh boy! It was soooo flavourful. Must try! We will be back soon

This is the best Nepali restaurant you will find in Pittsburgh. Pork sekuwa is the best. Best customer service.

Yep it's that good. Incredibly nice staff. Couldn't feed us enough. I like the Ferris wheel wallpaper too.

The samosas are good, but I wish there was a sauce that came with it (especially chutney).

We heard from across the room that they were one person down in the kitchen, but was that ever relayed to us? Never! Service was super terse and hurried. Three tables of diners sat down and left, after never having someone visit in 15-20 minutes, yet the kitchen kept pumping out To Go orders, instead of pausing or delaying carryout. I can't imagine what those tables that left might relay to friends and family... We loved our food! But with options upon options, you gotta get the in-house ship right, or make hard choices of pausing or delaying your To Go orders when life gives you lemon workers.

Since I've never had the last, I wenr for the datshi stew with chicken and vegetables (I could make out peppers, broccoli, maybe sliced potafoes?). The base is fermented cottage cheese, mixed with spice - very hot! But tasty and different than anything you've had. The spring rolls were ok - some were great and crispy, others were a little mushy (as the great Ludacris once noted, "Spring rolls are unpredictable.") The entrée is what matters. I'd come again and try more next time I'm up this way.

Dishes we thought would come together were staggered out, lengthening the overall time we were in the restaurant. We had the Chicken Choila - tasted like a riceless biryani, not bad, a little salty. We had momo chili, a fried dumpling dish with competing flavors but overall good. We had two naans: chili and garlic. All very nice. Had "Chole Saag" (I think they mean Channa Saag?) .. good. Malai Kofta did not have carrots like other places, but it tasted good and you could actually see the paneer in it. Waiter could not tell us what "Kashmiri Naan" was other than to say "It has a different flavor" which I was like .. what? How can I decide then. When asked for a recommendation under pressure of ordering, he suggested Tandoori Chicken and I was like "nah" ... Negatives are mainly ambience and service issues. It was 1:30pm on a Sunday. Suddenly 10 people large family came in after us. Music got turned up when we arrived and it was too loud so server couldn't hear us. Server seemed unfamiliar with menu and was not always focused on us. Sometimes he would come and bypass us and ignore us. He was awkward with serving tray and didn't bus table. I think I meant to give him a low tip but ended up giving him a large tip by mistake. You have to go up to the cash register when you are done. They will not prompt you to do otherwise.
