Being a loyalist of Nepali food in .I had to visit them for dinner with my family (kids too). The food is absolutely mouthwatering. We couldn't resist ourselves from ordering more and more items off the menu. Chatpate (puffed rice with add ons and spices mixed in) and tea, brought back memories of my days back in India. We also ordered sadeko momo (fried momos tossed in spicy sauce), steamed momo, chicken chowmein, paani puri, chicken thukpa (the noodle soup that we had to pack for to go) and mango lassi. Everything was really delicious as was their service! They were generous enough to even offer my kids mango lassi on the house. Had a wonderful time talking to the owners as well. They were so nice and welcoming. Just shows the warmth of the Nepali people.

Dishes we thought would come together were staggered out, lengthening the overall time we were in the restaurant. We had the Chicken Choila - tasted like a riceless biryani, not bad, a little salty. We had momo chili, a fried dumpling dish with competing flavors but overall good. We had two naans: chili and garlic. All very nice. Had "Chole Saag" (I think they mean Channa Saag?) .. good. Malai Kofta did not have carrots like other places, but it tasted good and you could actually see the paneer in it. Waiter could not tell us what "Kashmiri Naan" was other than to say "It has a different flavor" which I was like .. what? How can I decide then. When asked for a recommendation under pressure of ordering, he suggested Tandoori Chicken and I was like "nah" ... Negatives are mainly ambience and service issues. It was 1:30pm on a Sunday. Suddenly 10 people large family came in after us. Music got turned up when we arrived and it was too loud so server couldn't hear us. Server seemed unfamiliar with menu and was not always focused on us. Sometimes he would come and bypass us and ignore us. He was awkward with serving tray and didn't bus table. I think I meant to give him a low tip but ended up giving him a large tip by mistake. You have to go up to the cash register when you are done. They will not prompt you to do otherwise.

Amazing food. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Comfortable setting. Who could ask for more?read more

I hope it was just a bad day for them! Service was average for a Nepali place, no complaints. Drinks- the bar is more like a dressed up collection of hard liquor than a true bar. My friend ordered a vodka soda and got a warm shot of vodka with an offer to add some Coca-Cola to it. Ice was an after-thought that caused the shooter glass the whole thing was served in to spill over. To be safe I would recommend folks stick to either bottled beer or liquor that is good when served straight up, and warm. Tequila and scotch fit the bill. Food- We ordered an assortment of appetizers, followed by a pile of momos. Food was good, and we enjoyed our meal. Spice level was adequate although I would have personally enjoyed a bit more heat. On the whole, we left satisfied. Overall, I didn't hate it and the price was okay, but I think I'll try a different restaurant next time I'm in the mood for Nepali food.

We heard from across the room that they were one person down in the kitchen, but was that ever relayed to us? Never! Service was super terse and hurried. Three tables of diners sat down and left, after never having someone visit in 15-20 minutes, yet the kitchen kept pumping out To Go orders, instead of pausing or delaying carryout. I can't imagine what those tables that left might relay to friends and family... We loved our food! But with options upon options, you gotta get the in-house ship right, or make hard choices of pausing or delaying your To Go orders when life gives you lemon workers.

Since I've never had the last, I wenr for the datshi stew with chicken and vegetables (I could make out peppers, broccoli, maybe sliced potafoes?). The base is fermented cottage cheese, mixed with spice - very hot! But tasty and different than anything you've had. The spring rolls were ok - some were great and crispy, others were a little mushy (as the great Ludacris once noted, "Spring rolls are unpredictable.") The entrée is what matters. I'd come again and try more next time I'm up this way.

The first few times I ignored it, but after it happened again, I called the restaurant and informed them about the issue, hoping they would improve their food hygiene. Unfortunately, it has happened again. Finding hair in food once can be a mistake, but four times shows a serious lack of quality control and cleanliness. This is unacceptable, especially when customers are paying for their meals. I hope the management takes food safety and hygiene more seriously so that other customers do not have the same experience. I will not be ordering from here again.

The chicken tikka was competent and the sauce was really, really good. The chicken presentation could have been better, but that is just for optics. The flavor was there. The restaurant looks very clean and it's very well set up. Check the pic.. I saw someone wiping the chairs after patrons used them. You don't see that all the time. I'm no expert in food of these regions. Much less food from Nepal. All I know is that I enjoyed the food. I was full and I wanted to keep eating :-) You should try them. They are worth a visit. And they are trying hard to do well hence my 5 stars
