He has the greatest bedside manner. Everytime I call with a question, the doctor personally returns my call within 24 hours, and he knows who he's talking to. He doesn't treat you just as one of his hundred patients. He remembers who you are as his patient and also your family member. He listens to your concerns and willing to spend time with you to discuss treatment plan, not just in and out like most of other doctors. I definitely recommend Dr. Ha if you need to be seen by a nephtologist.

I was taken in immediately by a very polite and helpful woman, the procedure was explained in perfect detail by the nurse and the doctor (A very high IQ person according to his conversation with other patients) and the staff that work together like a finely tuned machine to herd all the patients in and out expeditiously. I don't have a lot of procedures like this, but when I do... These are my guys! They all brought their "A" game for me. The exceptional: an ice cold and refreshing exotic berry drink served chilled in a custom-made corrugated container that is eco-friendly. Not only do they provide fantastic nephrology services, but they are also a green company protecting our environment. Way to go Nephrology Associates!

She is generous with her time, and willing to explain in language we can comprehend, the medical issues we are dealing with. She is also always totally "present," one feels like one is dealing with a real person who cares about me, her patient, as a real person, not just another "case." I would also like to mention the excellent support staff. Natalie, her PA, is friendly and efficient. She has never failed to follow through with tasks, such as arranging appointments for tests and keeping me updated on pertinent information. Lucy at the front desk also reflects the happy and efficient tone of this practice.

However there is much to be desired in the competence of his staff. I have several prescription from him that have to be taken on an on going basis and of course require refills on a ninety day cycle, and that's the problem. My pharmacy is a well known mail delivery pharmacy covered and recommended by many health insurance providers, I use them for all of my prescriptions, and very infrequently are there problems or issues. With the exception of EVERY refill prescription prescribed by Dr Ho results in a message from the pharmacy stating they have made numerous requests for approval from Dr Ho's office for approval, and have heard nothing, suggesting in the message I personally contact his office and make them aware of the situation. Which I do, each time. The last few times this has happened I've asked why this is such a consistent problem, and never received a answer, the reply being "we always respond to these types of requests". That's become very hard for me to appreciate or believe. This morning I left the most recent message requesting they address the most recent notification from my pharmacy. I have yet to hear any response. I don't like leaving this review, it's the last option left open to me before I seek another kidney doctor, I hope it doesn't come to that.

We agreed that I would stop taking the medication immediately and head to the local Walgreens to pick up the new medication so I could start this morning and that I can confirm the pharmacy with the front desk. I get to the front office to set my next appointment and have to overhear the office staff complaining in the background how someone is getting written up for wearing a jersey. And that it probably is because it represented one team and not the team of the Dr. (I will leave the exact quote out) I then get to Walgreens and they have no prescription. I call the office and am told that they don't send their prescriptions in until the end of the day. So this prescription that I take in the morning that is potentially causing my issues and I am to replace immediately, I can't get today because they don't do their prescriptions until the end of the day. Got it. Dr was great...front staff however left me wanting. Their empathy was atrocious. Like it didn't matter what I needed or was told by the Dr. The three stars is purely for the doctor. Would've loved to have given five stars.
