Good dining choice for late night snack or when it's after 2pm and too late for dim sum lunch. I dined there as I was in the mood for an afternoon bite before 3pm and this was a convenient choice for both noodles and dim sum. They have dim sum items on their menu because they share same kitchen with Neptune next door. So my personal favorite Cantonese style carbs, aka. comfort foods are 河粉 + 腸粉 (flat noodles and rice rolls). I find the quality of their 腸粉 （rice rolls）consistent and I liked to order it plain with sesame and sweet sauce. I would give 4.5 stars for their 腸粉 as it is authentic and reminds me of how it's prepared in Hong Kong. Service is decent and prompt. Ambiance here is more hipster than dim sum restaurant next door, lighting is dim and with pop music playing in the background. One may even consider this location as the more romantic Neptune choice for couples. They have hotpot and various noodle dishes on the menu and a diversity of rice dishes which I will return to sample. Free parking is available underground for 3 hours or you can park free for 1 hour in the surface lot. read more

Nice choices of foods here. There's dimsum that you can order, likely from the Neptune seafood restaurant next to it. There's some HK cafe style food items. Main thing I came here for: The noodles. A sheet of paper was provided. On It were little check boxes to fill out on: what soup base you wanted, 2 included toppings (some at an extra charge. Additional toppings cost an ungodly amount for what it's worth), type of noodles, and a choice of no drink, hot drink (+$1.5), or cold drink (+$2.5). For everything that's IS included without adding any additional items, it's $16.5 Overall, food was decent. Thrown together pretty quickly. Noodles were chewy and the soup tasted like what I expected it to. Lots of beef for the price, 4 strips of imitation crab were given. Complementary veggies! The other one was a 4/5 as well. After a long day of holiday shopping we decided to land here for a quick meal. Not knowing what to expect but expecting the worst these days, sky high prices, terrible services for mediocre offerings. Twas not entirely the case. This is the "noodle bar" next to the glammed up pretty big sister next door-"the seafood restaurant." Tho was told by the wait staff, they shared the same kitchen and extensive menu. What the? We had the pictured dishes. They were fairly standard Canto-styled noodle/congee type of dishes. The wonton noodle in laksa stood out. Delish and unique. They do have a very complex noodle offering with variety of soup baes. Verdict-although pricing wise it is the going rate-"high" but the dishes were unexpectedly above mediocrity. Ok services. We have been finding places with good AC to eat during this heat wave. I am happy to say their AC is good and the place isn't too crowded with people. Love it! We ordered beef noodle stir fry and their chicken and fries combo. Their beef noodle is pretty good. It was quite satisfying. My chicken wings were juicy and the fries are crunchy and well seasoned. Pretty decent spot for Chinese food inside Station Square. We got a spot right away and service was decent. We ordered a few dishes to share between 4 people: eggplant casserole, deep fried tofu, chicken curry and fried kidney and liver with onion. My favorite was the eggplant casserole. Terrible experience. We came with our grandma and it was too loud so we told them we couldn't stay because she was very uncomfortable, and asked for takeout. They said that's fine, so we ordered 3 little buns to have a snack before we left because we were starving and our takeout order. It took 45 min to get our buns and AN HOUR for our takeout. This place shares the space with the Chinese restaurant next door, all the food that you order comes straight through the next door, heck even the washroom is next door. However, you can always grab a seat here and the food is decent and the music is always pumping. Definitely a great place to grab a drink and a really great place to relax. Update: So after such a long time of coming here. I finally, order food at the pub. A little disappointing, I might add. I ordered the curry with beef tendon and brisket casserole. To my amazement, it comes with no rice. Considering that the dish is already priced at $16.95. I consider that a rip off, especially since the dish only came with 3 pieces of tendon, sauce was really thin and it had a few pieces of onion and peppers on it, definitely needed potatoes to bulk it up (sadly it doesn't come with it) All in all, I say stick with the Happy Hour menu if you can, the food here is a rip off. Overpriced and poor quality fish dish - no actual fish meat, just byproduct and waste.

I ordered the Halibut with Leeks. Don't Do It! I understand that "authentic" Chinese food might be a little different than what I am used to eating. However, I have eaten at a lot of different Chinese food restaurants in many cities, and never had an experience like this. The halibut came chopped in pieces, and I could find very little meat on the entire plate. There were large bones, even the spine bone, multiple fish fins, gray fish skin, the white fish skin, under side skin fat, but very little if any white meat of the halibut. My wife said right away, "it's riddled with bones"! I don't know if a cat would have eaten very much of this. I tried to eat it, and picked through three fourths of the plate, but found almost no white meat of the halibut at all. Any little fragment of fatty fish meat I found was full of small bones. It didn't even taste like halibut. It looked entirely like a plate of fried garbage. The waitress tried to explain that this is how the Chinese people eat halibut. I have more respect for the Chinese people than to think that they just eat the trimmings and what most folks consider garbage off of the fish. Someone must be eating the actual white meat of the fish. I think the chef ate the halibut and gave me the fish bones and fish cleaning scraps. That's all that was there! I asked the waitress if I had offended someone or if this was some kind of a joke! I refuse to pay, and the waitress was good enough to remove the item from the bill. They charged us $1.50 for half of a lemon also. Ridiculous! I would not have written this review, but when a plate of fish bone garbage is served as a $29.95 dinner, I don't know what else I should do! This was not "authentic" Halibut! read more

It was the worst experience. We went here a few weeks ago and were served pork in a vegetarian noodle dish, after categorically asking for no meat in the dish. To give them the benefit of the doubt we went again tonight. Big mistake!! There was hair in one of our noodle dishes and they charged us 28 dollars for a green beans dish, without confirming the actual price of the item as it was not a part of their menu. On asking the server regarding the exorbitant charge, she got very aggressive and defensive, basically shouting at us, as if it was our fault. It didn't end there. While paying, we obviously opted to not tip given the service we had received, to which she loudly proclaimed "why no tip? This is the first time someone hasn't tipped." And as we were leaving she continued to bicker with us. Never going back again. read more

I knew this wasn't Panda Express or a typical fish and chips restaurant when I walked in . But I didn't know that when ordering the halibut and leeks, you are served a plate full of skin, fat, bone, and other scraps of halibut. There was pretty much zero meat in the dish! And the minuscule amount of meat that was in the dish didn't taste like halibut at all! The waitress tried to explain that it was the typical Chinese style to serve the dish like that. So people just eat the scraps from the fish like real food? There are so many other Chinese restaurants that wouldn't serve halibut like that. So maybe the restaurant should take this dish off their menu because I can't imagine anyone enjoying this. Also, none of the dishes came with rice. You had to order it on the side! I also asked for a lemon to try to make this halibut garbage taste better, and they charged me a dollar and fifty cents for half a lemon! They also served tea at the beginning of the meal, but it tasted like a generic green tea bag flavor to me. I don't think the management here likes their costumers because the food is overpriced and just okay. read more

At last, the manager had to ask out of obligation!I ended up giving them only minimal tip. I have given one star only for ambience and somewhat the food. Tiny, and I mean tiny, hole-in-the wall "sports bar" adjacent to the parent restaurant, with a good selection of beers on tap (I've never honestly seen another place have Sapporo on tap) and most definitely Asian flavour to their bar food menu. It's never full, fairly quiet and has friendly staff. There is a giant TV in the back that plays some Asian music videos most of the time, which is quite entertaining. You get free deep friend peanuts to have with your beer (they are as delicious as they are bad for you). Now, to the bad part - this being, in my understanding, a little off-shoot of the adjacent restaurant - they don't have their own kitchen. Whenever you order anything, they have to get it from the restaurant next door and it definitely does not give the bar orders priority. I've waited 40 minutes for a plate of wings. Considering that there is a Boston Pizza right under this place, I would say it's a bit of a business limiting approach on their part. The wings were delicious though. read more

we went there for happy hours, there was 3 beers on the happy hour menu but they were out of two of them, we ordered chicken wings and when it came there is no drumstick in it, then we ordered edmame so it came soaked in water (not even bothered to drain it well) and no salt or anything on it... after 10 minutes I went to the bar and told them so they passed me a salt shaker, so we never went back again. read more
