What a pro! Jeska recently gave me a pineapple enzyme and microdermabrasion treatment. It was incredible. My skin has never felt so splendid! If you're in for a wax, she'll give you exactly the shape you want, and pluck those damn outliers. Can you call someone a wax artist? Well, Jeska is. She checks in, lets you know what she's doing if you're curious (I always am), and truly enjoys what she does. She uses top of the line products that she researches in depth but will NEVER hard sell, & I trust her completely. I've been going to Jeska for 6 years now and I'm converting everyone to here. As a mid 30 year old who is in the sun a lot for running I asked on on the fly after a wax what I could do about my sun damage on my chest. She gives me magic and it worked. I was thinking I would need a chemical peel but nope Jeska explained why it would work and also said it also helps with in grown hairs. I know waxing is painful but if there is anyone who can make it painless it's Jeska. Always so professional. I've had a facial from here to and I was amazed at what a difference it makes. With another five star review, I am not being terribly original, but when you deserve it, you definitely deserve it, and Jeska does. I've been once so far for services and twice to pick up product, and will definitely keep going back. The studio space is well kept and the product line she carries, Rhonda Allison, has done wonders for my congested skin. I found Jeska through a recommendation from my sister, and went to her to start a regimen so my skin would be in tip top shape for my wedding next year, and could not be more pleased with the discovery. Per the services, I found Jeska to be very pleasant to work with and very professional. Sometimes during spa treatments I find there to be an awkward tension - do you talk? Or not talk? If you don't, are you being rude? Or if you do, are you just asking the practitioner the same five questions everyone does and boring them to death? I found Jeska to be super friendly and low key and none of this even crossed my mind, which was reassuring when I all but fell asleep during the massage portion at the end of the facial I received. During the facial she paid close attention to my skin, and made recommendations for my regimen beyond the products she was using (supplements, hydration, etc.). She was thorough during extractions, and had about as light of a touch as you can when you're doing those. And the massage was heavenly - I will definitely be adding the additional scalp massage on to my next appointment. And to boot Jeska was very non-pressuring when it came time to check out. Sometimes I feel like the aestheticians just throw product at you, but she kept her suggestions to the point and friendly and I did not feel awkward at all picking and choosing from among her selections (I left with one product and later came back to buy two more when I finished what I had at home). I met Jeska over a month ago when I moved to Oakland in search of a stylist. Previously she worked out of Skin&Tonic. She did such an amazing job on my brows that when she offered to schedule me with someone else there (because she was opening this business) I insisted on waiting for her grand opening. I found Neptune here on Yelp, and was able to book an appointment online, which was really easy. The space is stylish and minimalist, and Jeska was really friendly and explained everything as we went along. She also sent me home with a couple of product samples and a suggestion on which face scrub to buy (the blueberry one), which I did, and really love. It's been three weeks since my appointment, and my skin still looks pretty damn good, with no breakouts, and my eyebrows still look nice and tamed! I will definitely be going back soon. read more

So, when I heard she had started her own studio, I was excited check it out. I went in for a facial, as I have heard it is a wonderful thing and I wanted to try it. Like most guys, I never really cared much about how I treated my skin, so, when Jeska gave me the treatment, I had no idea what to expect. AMAZING! A relaxing hour of facial massage and pampering that left me on the verge of sleep & when I looked at my face in the mirror, it was soft and rejuvenated. I recently had a microdermabrasion treatment with Jeska and it was amazing! I've been interested in it before but always been kind of hesitant about actually trying it. Turns out, it was really easy and my skin felt and looked great afterwards. Also, there was very little down time. I really appreciated how meticulously she cleaned my skin and that took the time to explain what she was doing. Everything she did felt great, even the pore cleaning because she did it so deftly. I love that her facials are both cleansing and relaxing. She is very skilled at doing extractions. I love that, unlike other estheticians, she doesn't leave the room while waiting for a mask to do its work. She stays and massages you. I fall asleep everytime. I actually catch myself snoring! She listens and is patient and she's not pushy about selling products (although I love Rhonda Allison's pumice scrub). I LOVE my big bushy eyebrows but just need them cleaned up here and there. I was really afraid to go to a professional because I thought they'd try to turn my eyebrows into sperm-shaped nightmares!!
