RGB lights went out in all the fans. Fans looked ok in his shop lighting but i get it home in the dark and it turns out he didnt FIX the lights it was just a reflection (nice one dave you got me didnt you) also doubled the price just to stick a light strip across the top. I reached out to Nerdy Dave's by email to ask questions about diagnosing our 5 month old laptop that had suddenly stopped working. I received a prompt response inviting me to come into the office. I took the laptop in within the hour. Dave promptly looked at the laptop and told me I had a motherboard issue, it would be an expensive repair as the laptop was only 5 months, likely the laptop was still under warranty even if I had not purchased additional insurance. I had not purchased any additional insurance and had not considered that it might be under warranty. I did as Dave recommended and in fact there was a one year warranty, the laptop was mailed off for repair or replacement iF not repairable. I brought my computer here because it had been having issues charging. Long story short, it is probably just a charging cord issue and I ordered a new one off Amazon. But I think I might go have a second opinion honestly. I only say that because when I brought my computer home and opened it up, he had left up the google page for "how to check battery health on mac". That doesn't make me feel very confident in the diagnostic department of things. The other two tabs open were his twitter pages and a super mario download page. I could be wrong, but it seems a little unprofessional to be using peoples personal computers for that kind of thing. It also makes me feel like my privacy has been invaded because who knows what else was downloaded or opened while it was there.... All in all, his mom (the lady that greeted me) was VERY nice, but I most likely won't be going back to Dave. read more

Oh my God. These guys are wonderful. My phone screen broke and I purchased another phone and was having huge challenges getting everything restored and it wasn't working.
