Disclaimer, I came to this place in 2019 before the world shutdown. Yo, this place is a who vibe depending on your mood. I love the hole in the wall spot. It has a decent bar on the inside. It's definitely small when there's a full house or a beautiful night, but the bartenders work their butts off to be attentive and serve you (and that's coming from a males perspective.) This place didn't have a dress code (or at least I fit in the crowd) and they seem to have a mixture of the types of people....diversity in economic, age, gender, race, community. This is something I GREATLY appreciate. The other thing I really loved about this place is the outdoor area, where they had picnic tables and chairs to give you like a backyard BBQ vibe. This place is SO cool! The porch swings (actual swings), bags, bocce ball, awesome drinks, etc. Everyone brought their dogs or kids and just chilled. It's was just a really nice spot to hang at for the evening with the mother in law and 2 year old. Not too busy until later that night - it was pouring rain so we tried to sit it out as much as possible. Nett Bar is such a great low key neighborhood bar! It is mostly an outdoor bar with TVs and bocce ball courts and on Wednesday nights they do trivia. They always have a food truck with delicious options. Make sure to try the Dreamsicle frozen drink, it's amazing on a hot night!! Nettbar is always a great choice for an outdoor patio bar with fun yard games. They have very nice bocce ball courts, cornhole, darts, and great TVs for watching sports. This place is great. Bar staff is always quick. Drinks are solid. They offer a range of bottled/canned/draft beer, multiple liquor selections, and they do serve wine (was not drinking it, nor looked at the list so I cannot comment on how great the selection is). The patio setup & backyard feel are great. If it is in-climate weather though, I would definitely stay away since the inside seating is very limited. So I've been waiting for this place to open for a while. I live down the street, and I drove by regularly trying to see what was going on. Finally stopped in today, and it did not disappoint! The Bocce courts are fantastic, the double patio is comfortable and the drinks are cold. On top of that they have some great music playing and the interior is homey and welcoming. This is not your average Washington bar ( and I say that with all the compliments in the world) stop by and enjoy! Only suggestions? Friendly staff, good choice of craft beer, and house crafted cocktails. They don't serve food but the day we went the 'Sticky Chicken' food truck was parked off to the side to offer up some tasty eats. The coolest part about this place is it's near the train tracks. Why is that cool? $2 train shots! Anytime a train passes the bar tender yells "Train Shots" and house made shots with premium liquor are only $2! One thing I like to comment on is parking! The bartenders here are so nice and willing to help you figure out the best beverage for you, which I appreciate. They have an indoor space, but you really should come here to be outdoors! They have ample seating. Chairs, tables, benches, and TVs galore. You can come here in a big group and have a good time playing various games. The place is also dog-friendly, which makes it very relaxing and fun. Parking is always interesting. They do have a small lot that you can park in, but sometimes it's full and you have to park on the street. Be mindful of the street signs and you should be just fine (but DON'T leave your valuables visible in your car). They offer some sort of drink specials if you're there and a train passes by--but if you live in the area you know there are ALWAYS trains (especially in the evenings). Celebrated an adult birthday at Nettbar this past weekend and this place is fantastic (and underrated!). They were quick to accommodate party related details including a reservation, bringing cake and provided great service. The guests who had crawfish loved it and as a vegetarian my self, I had veggie tacos from the truck that were amazing! All the staff was super friendly and there was plenty of room to spread out as needed. Bring the pups and play the games they have like Bocce, cornhole , darts etc. Great spot to hang out on a nice Houston afternoon. Definitely went for the atmosphere than the drinks, over priced and they seemed to never pour a drink all the way to the top unless it was a frozen drink. I ordered the frozen marg it was great! Then the prickly pear frose it was awful tasted nothing like prickly pear which is my favorite more like a bad pink starburst way too sweet for me, my husband ordered an old fashion they did an ok job but it was all ice... ended up being super watered down.
