Fun place to grab a drink and bonus if it is Tuesday Steak Night! Fun vibe, nice outside seating (when the weather is cool like tonight). Big TVs to watch the game. Bocce Ball and Corn Hole courts. Fun place! Order at the bar. Or for steak night order from a QR code at your table. You can't order drinks on the same check though. So keep that in mind. I had the rib eye. It was good, not great. Had an interesting rub on it that I couldn't decide if I liked or not. Decent size steak though. Sides were green beans and mashed potatoes. Wish the sides were larger, but all good. Stopped in to celebrate a friends birthday. We had seen online that it was steak night for $20 including a drink. However, it was no longer this special. Apparently this was with the old owner. It has switched over to ElementHTX which I didn't see on their website or online. The cost is a bit higher but everyone seemed happy with their dinner choice. The pork chop was massive with plenty of taste. The overall service from NettBar was the usual friendly staff you would expect. The happy hour runs from 4-7 including some frozen. The dreamicle is my favorite. Overall I feel they have made some updates to improve this location compared to their other in a good way. My friends and I came here for The Office trivia which was both so much fun and incredibly difficult. The trivia host was really fair and did a great job; the questions were just so incredibly specific, we struggled from the first round. I really appreciated that they had stickers and magnets to hand out afterwards anyway (made the loss less sad). They also have Train Shots (not sure if that's what it's really called) but they're discounted shots when the train goes by. The atmosphere is really laid back, it seems like a cool place to go to watch a game or just have a drink with friends in the heights. read more

It was a nice evening, so I just wanted to sit outside and enjoy good vibes. We arrived a little after 6 pm on a Tuesday. (Happy Hour is 4-7, dinner starts at 6). We chose a high top table ordered our first round of drinks and checked out the steak night options. There are a few steaks to choose from, a pork chop & a chicken breast. Sides are green beans & mashed potatoes. We easily placed our order from the table on our phones from the QR code menu. It wasn't long before the server arrived with 3 massive pork chops. I mean these were the biggest pork chops that I've ever seen. After the amazement and snapping pics for my review, I took my first bite. OMG, this pork chop was hot, juicy, & delicious! It was honestly enough for 2 meals, but i devoured it. You cannot beat the price for a meal like that. Before happy hour ended, we ordered another round of drinks. My friend ordered a rib eye with mashed potatoes and green beans, I ordered a pork chop with double mashed potatoes. The pork chop was cooked to perfection with a a simply amazing flavor! After work happy hour and I'll just say this was worth the trip. The place is right next to the train track off Sheperd and easy to locate. There isn't much parking on the lot ( 20 spots ) and after 11 the street gets tow happy, so be careful. The interior isn't very large as the place is designed for outdoor activities. I was pleased to learn that happy hr was 4-7 and this included food and drinks. I had a few drinks and even stopped over at the food truck for a bite during my trip. We went after the Hess 5k with some co-workers. Great little outdoor spot. Bartenders were quick and attentive. Beer was cold and they had frozen drinks as well. The frose was popular but a little sweet for my taste. There's plenty of room to sit and watch the game and a food truck. read more

In addition to being a cool patio bar (with outdoor games and a food truck), Nett Bar allows you to use their patio space for private parties as long as you book their catering. Honestly, given how expensive private party rentals are, this seems like a pretty great deal. We had my daughter's first birthday party here and it went pretty well. I booked the slot a few months in advance and chose my location (you can pick from several spots on the patio, we chose the dart deck since it has a roof in case of rain) as well as our catering options. For food, they don't have a ton to choose from but it's enough to feed people (mini shrimp egg rolls, beef or chicken quesadillas, chicken karaage, Brussels sprouts, hummus and pita, and chips and queso). I won't put specific prices here because they might change but it was about $75-$100 per tray depending on the dish (each tray feeds 20). They provide the plates/utensils. You can't bring outside food aside from cake/desserts. You can also purchase drink tickets for guests. We didn't do that but I believe they have different pricing options (e.g. $5 or $10 per guest). Anyway, we were able to decorate our space with banners and balloons and I'm quite happy with how it all turned out. Nice bar especially for days when it's beautiful outside. They have a variety of frozen concoctions including prickly pear, lemonade, sangria and rosé (frozé.) I noticed a giant Jenga game outside. This is a dog friendly place. They have water bowls and snacks and an enclosed dog run. If you're hungry, while they don't offer food at the bar, there is food truck with delicious food. The brussel sprouts and the plain hummus are delicious. And finally, there's a giant flat screen TV outdoors. In the winter, they have heating lamps. 4 stars for BAR SERVICE only! Came on a Thursday for a few drinks and anticipated getting food before coming home and that was a joke! The bar service was 100% and the bartenders were really friendly and attentive. Now, walk over to order food from the food truck and this is where the fun begins. A.) it took over 45 min for the food buzzer to ring. B.) walk over to get food only to find out one of the orders is wrong. C.) re order the incorrect order (understanding things happen) D.) an additional 25 min go by and the buzzer still doesn't go off so walk over only to find the guy behind the food truck stall standing outside taking shots. Ask if the wrong order was corrected and he scrambled inside to "fix it". E.) an additional 10 min later the 'fried' crispy chicken sandwich comes out as a grilled chicken breast sandwich dusted in bread crumbs. Not close to 'fried'. Moral of the story... do not come here for bar food. Drinks only as the bar staff is attentive and take care of you. The 'food truck' staff is incompetent and irresponsible, should not be in charge of taking food orders. read more

NettBar has become my recent watering hole -- post date drinks, friend happy hour, we even hosted a friend's going away bash and completely took over the inside area. (Which was doable on a rainy Monday night.) NettBar is a restored bungalow building complete with a large patio with games -- giant four square, giant Jenga, a bocce ball court, seating, heat lamps... there's even a fenced in dog courtyard. I appreciate how they have dog etiquete signs for inconsiderate (or simply clueless) dog parents. They don't have food, but they do have free popcorn and a rotating list of food trucks (schedule posted on their Facebook page). They also have Tuesday running club and steak night. I stopped by NettBar for happy hour on a Wednesday with a friend. NettBar is a bar off of Washington in a residential area. They have a parking lot. The reason we came is because they have HH all day on Wednesdays. The bar is located inside and there's a good amount of seating but they have a huge patio with a bunch of seating, plus bocce ball and ping pong. They even had bingo going on later on in the night. While they don't have food, they did have a grill outside with a vendor selling Mexican food but it took them a while to set up so my friend and I ended up grabbing food from a restaurant close by. The bartender was cool with us bringing food so we appreciated that. They also have complimentary popcorn which is always a nice touch. NettBar has five or so frozen cocktails. I tried a couple of them and my favorite one was the orange creamsicle. This vodka-based cocktail tastes exactly as it sounds with an added kick.
