I'm a retired medical professional, 28 years to be exact, and I was trained like every medical person should be. Patient care, professionalism, kindness, and actual knowledge of your job! I had to get my own authorization number for my brace, from our insurance! ANITA is rude, unprofessional, loud talking a senior citizen in pain, everything that an employee dealing with people's pain, and discomfort should NOT BE! All this, because ANITA stated authorization was pending, and it wasn't! I gave the authorization number to her, so they'd release my brace, for my surgery tomorrow, otherwise, it would probably be canceled I must say that Santino was wonderful, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I commend him on doing a great job!

Taken back by a young gentleman who was very friendly and knowledgeable about what I needed ordered by my dr. It took multiple attempts to get my brace to fit just right, but he was very patient and wanted to make sure it fit just right and I was not uncomfortable in it. He made sure to remind me to come back if I had any issues or problems. When fitting was over I went to checkout and she explained my bill and was absolutely one of the sweetest people I have ever met. The entire staff that I encountered were all very helpful, supportive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this business.

Well, I may have taken too much time, because it turns out, you actually have to be fitted with things and measured and make appointments to see people at orthotics and prosthetics places. We chose to come to Brace It first because my doctors office said it was the best for insurances. We walked in on a Friday around 330pm and the very nice person at the check in desk let us know that they in fact do not take my insurance and we'd have to pay cash. We left and started calling the other places on the list. Some answered, some didn't, and the ones that took my insurance were not available until after my surgeries would have started. We decided to just pay cash because I needed my equipment. Honestly, I thought the pricing was fair, even close to what I'd expect to pay out of pocket even if my insurance was used. We waited in the office for approximately 5 minutes before we were called back for the fittings. The person helping us was so kind and thoughtful and gave us really great advice for post surgery usage. He made sure to make sure I was confident and wanted to answer any questions I had. He gave us his card and told us we could call anytime if we had any questions we didn't think of at the time. While we were checking out, the person at this desk was also so super kind and helpful and told us to really not feel a way about calling if we had any questions. The customer service here is amazing and I really appreciate that they take walk-ins and are so quick with everything. If you want to come in as a walk-in though, I would call for hours. I'm pretty sure the door said they don't take walk-ins on Wednesdays and they last walk in is at 4pm every other day they are open. Also, the place is very clean and organized. So extra check marks there!

I told Hanger my situation and they made me an appointment several weeks out. A couple days before the appointment they called me and told me that I had to get my oncologist who had signed the prescription to send them medical records!! I told the gal who called me that I thought that was her job but she insisted I had to do it. I called the oncologist's office who promptly told me that they needed more specific information about DOS and fax number etc and that it was not my place to be doing this and to call Hanger back and tell them to call the doctor's office themselves for specific info of exactly what they were looking for. I did exactly that and when I called back was directed to a voicemail where I left a message to that effect. 24 hours before my appointment I received a text from Hanger saying that my prescription was no good because it had 2025 on it. When i explained that i was just trying to get my refill and that the prescription was still valid because it was less than a year old, i was told that i would need a new prescription signed by my provider before my appointment the very next day!!! I was told by Marquis that this is their office policy! Really??!!! Hmmm... Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and do not plan on returning to Hanger for ANYTHING, God willing! And then stores wonder why people turn to online shopping!!! Maybe an online medical supply store would like to help me?? ‍

In the last few years, I have become so weak that I have begun to use a cane and plastic AFOs that keep my ankles in a rigid position. At first, the plastic AFOs seemed to help but I quickly realized that it was akin to putting a band aid on a arterial bleed. I began to scour the internet in search of any cutting edge research or devices for CMT. I discovered www.ordesignslv.com, which had a video testimony from a woman with CMT. She is seen walking with the typical foot drop before the fitting and walking quite fast and running afterward. I was shocked and amazed when I watched the video. I never thought that walking or running would be possible. Fast forward to my appointment-I was the only patient in the office, and I felt that Mitch was a master cobbler. From the first day, he understood every nuance of my condition and knew exactly how to correct my posture and gait through the braces. The first time I wore the braces, he instructed me to stand in one spot for five minutes and I did it! I didn't have to think about leaning against a wall or using a chair to keep my balance. When you lean forward, the energy from your body transfers to the brace and can be used in movement or posture control. The design of the braces relies on return of energy, something you cannot get from plastic AFOs. In my opinion, Mr. Warner is a genius! I can't thank him enough for giving me back my life and freedom.

I called and initially got a voicemail, which I was unsure about at first since sometimes voicemails go unanswered, but an employee called me back the next morning. The employee that called me was friendly and efficient and got me an appointment the following week. My appointment consisted of checking in, filling out paperwork, and meeting with a prosthetic and orthotic specialist who used some cutting edge technology to assess my issue and get me fitted for orthotics within just a few minutes. I didn't have to step on a mold or anything as they use 3D technology, which is SO neat. I asked a lot of questions and was met with thorough answers. I even asked if I could pick up and touch a prosthetic leg that looked very cool and robotic and the employee was happy to let me pick it up and told me more about it. Very nice. All in all, I like this place a lot. I am fighting with my insurance currently because they said they would cover part of my orthotics, but they are making me jump through hoops. POP didn`t really want to deal with the insurance and didn`t think they would cover them at all. I cannot really blame them for that. I did need some additional paperwork for insurance purposes and I called and again, received a call back and picked up the paperwork at the office no problem. All in all a good experience.

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

We were referred to ATI for specialized…read moretherapy(aquatic) and were told they don't have any aquatic therapists or facilities in the state of nevada, and referring to Kelly Hawkins. As this is out of our network for insurance, I inquired if needed some kind of email, letter, or whatnot to provide to my insurance of this I was told yes just to call back and notify them and they would be glad to help...NOT!! We went to Kelly Hawkins, as it is out of my insurances network, I gladly paid for the assessment and 6 sessions. Decided I would call back the ATI therapy, and thank them for referring us there and get the information I needed and said would be no problem to get, just exactly what they told me. That ATI is referring to Kelly Hawkins as ATI doesn't have facilities/therapists and now there's a problem. Was told ATIs leadership program has their representatives say they cannot give me a written statement regarding this. Why not ? They have no problem informing of this over phone. So asked to speak to supervisor and after being on hold for twenty minutes, someone comes back online and quickly hangs up on me. Now they have my number to call back, and of course they don't. So I look up the cooperate customer service number and call them and of course no one answered but was able to leave a voice mail. Now I know a lot of seniors that use ATI physical therapy and I'm grateful for them being honest and referring me to Kelly Hawkins. However, to not provide that in a statement so my insurance will cover out of network at Kelly Hawkins and hanging up on me is rude. I don't deal with people or places that aren't true to their word or mission. And if it's ATIs mission to help those in need of specialized therapy and help people regain their lives from disabilities or accidents, then why is it such a problem to get a written statement to this. And be rudely hung up on. I will write again tomorrow when I try to call the regional office and see if they help me. But so farwouldn't recommend anyone that is needing medical records or paperwork from them to go there. Seems like they dont care existing client or not. Yet they will tell you anything over the phone, just don't believe for them to prove it
