I bought a transmission pan from this guy and come to find out it didn't fit. It was too long and would not bolt on. I contacted them telling them the problem and they wouldn't stand behind their product. I rebuild transmissions and engines and off-road vehicles as well as muscle cars ive forgot more than these hacks will ever know. After calling a few local places (I live in Kalamazoo) I expanded my search and really liked my discussion with owner Brad about my new Wrangler. They were very accommodating and recommenced I go to the cafe that is next for door while my exhaust, headlights and heated seats were installed. Jim, the technician that worked on my car seemed very organized and knowledgeable with great troubleshooting skills. I am planning on going next week to get a few more things installed and discuss wheels. Even though it's a 3 hour round trip for me I feel like I trust these guys. read more

Well folks this is exactly the type of nonsense you'll get out of Brad and never enough auto parts. Looks like it's a lot easier to make up some fictional story then actually get on the phone with Lakewood and help your customer out by resolving this. -they did nothing about this other than give me a bunch of lame "sounds possible" excuses. According to Lakewood I was the only time they heard about this problem He and his company have no integrity and I would warn anyone to go buy your stuff somewhere else. My jeep was worked on there several times and still has problems was in the shop multiple times for death wable after lift and tires was installed but never was fixed owner says I wheeled it to hard and wouldn't take any responsibility blames it 100% on everyone but his shop bushings were replaced in lift after a year and now are bad again but according to brad that's my fault too I should of spent more money on a better lift he says I told a worker there I was jumping my jeep Wich was not true he says a sales man claims I said this but never was said so why so many bushings going bad why was my jeep in his shop three times for the death wable and never fixed his answer is I wheeled it too hard come on man read more

Every time I'd give my availability, I'd get silence and then days later was expected to make a totally different day work for pick up. Much better deal found elsewhere. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Go with ANYBODY else. Save your time and especially your money. I've dealt with bad service but this by far was the worst. They don't want to fix their mistakes or admit fault. They will place blame on u. Beware of this company. Especially if u do anything online with them as opposed to doing anything in person. If a part doesn't fit or is the wrong part u will not get anywhere with them. We tried this company one time and it was a horrible experience. They are jerks on the phone and on email. I had purchased a drop pittman arm from this company and when i received it from them i opened the box to check the part and i find a Boat anchor. So i call the company talked to Jennifer one time and from there on they will not answer the phone anymore. Jennifer who is the worst customer service person i have ever had to deal with tells me to respond in emails. Its been 22 days since i purchased the part and has been 12 days since i sent it back and still have not received my money back. They seem to be a third party company selling other peoples inventory and taking money but not returning the money if there is a problem. Definitely the worst business i have come across in the 16 years of me running my business and making it right for the customer no matter what. This place has the worst return policy combined with customer service i have encountered in the automotive aftermarket industry. The owner himself deals with customer service issues and brings emotions and spite into his business workings and emails. They ship an item that is missing pieces .. no returns for that, you sit and wait until they contact the manufacture and then have it snail mailed to you after a couple weeks if your lucky. Don't give business to a place that has no respect for their customers because it could come back and bite you in the rear! read more
