When our car was hit by someone who ran a stop sign, we figured that it was a total loss. Although our insurance did not recommend new ace auto, we decided to use it after reading the reviews that we saw and are we glad we did. New ACE helped us every step of the way, including getting a rental. Although it took a while for the work to be done due to our insurance and not the shop it was well worth the wait. Our car looked like nothing had ever happened to it and best of all driving it once again felt as good as it always did. True to their craft, true to their word. I was scared to bring my car anywhere, but I was recommended to come to New Ace in Bayonne. It was my first accident, after my car got its rear got destroyed by a sleepy driver. It took a bit because my Jeep GC's bumper is formed by like 4 different pieces, not including installation time + paint job. But upon the parts arriving, my car was ready in less than 4 days and they worked super efficiently with my insurance company. My bumper looks great, and you'd have to be a pro to notice the difference in my car since the repair. Customer service is top notch, considering I would call twice a week. Sorry Eddie, I know I'm annoying but my questions got answers, not BS excuses and I knew that when I was going to get my car back, it would be just fine. If you're in your 20s and are having a tough time trying to go somewhere because you're afraid your car is going to get screwed with, or get BS excuses for delays, come here because they mean business and will have your car up to speed ASAP. Also, if you ever drop by, you'll notice that the employees are laser focused on their work. Pretty impressive. Side note, I ain't getting any hook ups for this review, just being honest because people need to see reviews that inspire confidence when their car looks like crap from an accident. I came in here after my BMW had been sitting for a while, months.. almost 8 it just wasn't riding right, made me nervous. Turns out it hadn't been serviced and ran for a while. I brought my car in expecting the worst. I was afraid since I was a woman I'd be taken advantage of. But I wasn't. After he linked up this little hand held machine, he explained what was wrong in English but a language I didn't understand. He told me I didn't have to leave the shop that he just needed to rotate the tires, give it a long over due oil change, and get me going in no time. So I sat and waited. His name was Anthony. He cleaned up everything and filled my fluids Put in a gas treatment, and told me to come look at the car under the scary lift. I was afraid the car was going to crush me! But he said that in the next 3-4 months to come back and let him change the brake pads, he said not yet, but that it will soon be due. I appreciated the honesty. Normally I have been victim of so much manipulation when it comes to car dealerships and handymen taking advantage that I'm a woman. Thank you Anthony for your help! More than reasonable prices, felt I wasn't ripped off and so relieved that it wasn't as serious as my imagination was running crazy! Metro Honda brought my vehicle here because of a paint defect on the hood of my 2017 Honda Accord. This body shop did a crappy job of blending the paint and gave me my vehicle back unfinished! I picked up my vehicle from metro honda and apparently this body shop didn't clay bar my hood thus revealing buff marks, scratches and swirls on my brand new accord. Later I noticed the area they blended had dust in the paint! Are you F*cking kidding me! Now I had to write to honda corporate about this issue. My car then had to go back to this body shop to get the whole hood repainted. Once I picked up my vehicle again this body shop didn't align my hood correctly exposing gaps at the sides! This body shop is sh*t. I have friends who do body work and they told me that this body shop is unprofessional from the things that happened to me. This place doesn't pay attention to detail. I was told this shop stands by their work. But, I believe their work is full of sh*t. Don't bring your vehicle here! read more

I had a very bad experience with this shop. They are extra expensive, careless, and irresponsible. I took my car there; we agreed on the job they will do and the price. Waited 3 weeks for the car to be admitted in the shop. Initially, they told me they will keep the car in the shop for three days to do the work. Honestly, it was a small work (a couple of hours). Yet they still kept the car for 8 days. During that time, I had to pay for uber to go to work. Then, when time came to pay, they increased the estimated value we agreed on by $500 with the justification that in the estimate it was not included another job they did. They were lying. It was not worth dealing with very unreasonable people. Just be aware when you go to this shop. I was offered the same job for a lot less from another shop, but chose this one because of the time. The other shop had a lot more backed up work. Although, it turned out to be not very different in terms of time. read more
