The shop itself immediately impressed me: clean, well-lit, organized, and extremely professional. I'm 56 years old and have been around long enough to know when a business is legitimate. This place is the real deal. While sitting in the passenger seat, another gentleman came down the ramp, introduced himself, shook my hand, and personally moved my car. I don't know his name, but he carried himself like an owner or senior leader--polite, confident, and clearly someone who takes pride in the business. The whole interaction felt respectful and reassuring. When my car was pulled inside the shop, I saw the interior--and honestly, I was blown away. The place was lit up like a stadium. You could see every detail. There were several high-end vehicles being repaired, and everything looked precise and professional. This was not one of those shady, insurance-shortcut shops. This was top-tier, legit work. They sat me down, explained the entire process, and even coordinated an Enterprise rental seamlessly. At that point, I felt confident leaving my "baby" in their care. About a week later, I got devastating news from the insurance company: my car was declared a total loss. I was crushed. It felt like losing a family member. From what looked like minor damage--a scrape, a busted light, a bumper--the car was suddenly gone. I was in disbelief and honestly depressed. When we returned to the shop, we spoke with Chris and Marissa Riccardi, who I later learned are siblings and part of the family that owns East Coast Collision. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Ended up here after someone whacked my car while it was parked in my building's garage. East Coast was one of the places certified by GEICO and after reading reviews for some of the others, coming here was a no brainer. Happy to report that the reviews are all spot on. From the upbeat and kind attitude of the folks that answer the phones to the experienced and honest technicians that fix the cars, the whole team is just a pleasure to deal with. When I arrived at East Coast Collision today, February 11, 2026, at 11:15 AM, ready to pay for repairs I had been quoted two to three weeks ago, I was immediately treated differently because of my race. Staff told me they did not want to provide service, saying the price "may be too high for me," and then explicitly said they would not do the work because I "look like I can't pay for what might be extra" and that I would "cause an issue." At one point, a staff member even said, "you people," clearly targeting me based on race. I asked her multiple times to stop harassing me about the price before I got upset. I was the only Black person in the shop at the time, and these comments and actions were directed at me alone, showing that their hostility and denial of service were motivated by racial bias. Even after I explained I was willing to pay the full amount, they denied me service entirely, leaving me humiliated and discriminated against. Tremendous garbage that workshop work badly This is incredible, I took my car to this place to have a good job done and what they did to me was nonsense. It resulted in a bent bumper, bent fender and when I drive my car it is misaligned to the right. I wanted the bumper fixed but just glued it. They did a terrible job for me and apparently the owner does not know how to talk like people because she has a bad attitude. I went to complain about something and she went the other way, she doesn't know how to talk like a decent person. I don't recommend this business because they do not know how to work, it's garbage of a workshop. If I could give it zero stars I would be very honored. Take a look how my car turned out. My car had a right side accident and it is bad to drive. They do not know about the mechanical damage, just skinning and painting. They kept saying that my car no mechanical damage when I had proof. They act like they are mechanics, as if they are mechanics, they're rats. read more

I had to pay out of pocket since my dedcutable was high. Had a few estimates and these guys beat it by almosy half. Work was explained in detail before hand, turnaround was super quick. They went above and beyond restoring my vehicle to damn near factory new. It looks like a display car fresh off of the showroom floor. I couldn't find one scratch on the car and I know for sure I had some minor scratches that had nothing to do with my claim no exaggeration. I highly recommend them if you need any type of body work. I couldn't be more pleased with the shop and the experience. Beyond the extremely detailed and professional work done on my car (see the before and after photos), the shop staff is so pleasant, kind, and accommodating. They worked with the insurance company directly and took care of everything. In addition, I asked them to work on other body issues with my car (regardless of my insurance claim) and they also did a fantastic job with a fair price tag. Update: they have fixed the damages they made to my car. They have also fixed my side mirrors and detailed the inside and replaced the door rubbers. I am happy with the latest update. I brought in my car June 4th because i ended up scraping the front bumper area on the passenger side, tail light, and back door area of driver side while going into a narrow driveway. I used them because they are part of the Geico express program. They told me the car was ready on June 13th but when i went to pick up the car, some of the scrapes were still there. They apologized and told me they will contact me when the car is completed. Today, June 17, I got the call. The bumper area they "repaired" had weird black scrapes on it that they fixed it while I was there. The driver side door is broken with the paint peeled off and their are more scratches on the passenger door. Also, the fromt and back door colors don't match. I paid $500 deductible and they took $3k+ from my insurance to ruin my car. They thought I wouldn't see the damage. Really unhappy with their service read more

The owner made me aware that his shop is not Tesla certified but his guys know how to paint Pearl White correctly. The owner explained in detail how he planned to paint Pearl White which is a tough paint job. He quoted me a reasonable price. When I accept the quotation, I have a short wait time for the job to start. It only took 3 days to finish the job. The body repair and paint job was so good that I couldn't tell or feel that there was a repair. And, they touched up a few scratches at no charge. Great work and great service. Got my car back within their estimated time frame, and they even washed it for me! Much appreciated from a guy who loves to keep their car clean. Would hope to not need their services, but I know I can count on them if needed. One minor thing, though: the center cap of my front driver side tire (with the Subaru logo) is missing. I'd inquire about it, but I'd doubt it's something I'd be able to recover. Not a huge deal, but you know, aesthetics. Overall would definitely recommend. Very Helpful, calm and efficient. I went to East Coast C, to have a photo inspection for my car insurance. Initially I was not to happy with their early closing hours, ( who is available before 5 pm, people work) however I had a few extra hours this morning and I decided now was as good a time as any. I walked in to a friendly and inviting receptionist who asked me a few questions and completed my paperwork quickly. ( I am sure arriving 15 mins after they opened and being the only customer at that time may have assisted in this process being super painless) Then someone from their staff, a chill guy whipped out his Iphone and snapped four pictures of my car and handed me my keys and a copy of the document. This family owned Mom-&-Pop business on Garfield Ave in Jersey City was an absolute joy to work with and I would recommend you use them if you have an unfortunate accident like I did. They were able to get me into a rental car while my car was being repaired in under 10minutes because they have an Enterprise booth on site! My car was as good as new when I got it back and they didn't charge a penny more than we agreed upon at the initial meeting. Coming home from vacation and finding that someone smashed into your parked car is a bit stressful. Worst mistake I ever made. I had an accident a few months back and my company said they would take care of the damages whatever the cost was. So in a rush to find a place to fix my car since I need it for work and was not really in a good condition to drive I found this place relying on the good reviews it had that I now believe they are all fake and from friends and family members. When I first took my car there, they said they could fix it and gave me an estimate and said it would be 1-2 weeks worth of work. 3 weeks passed by and I still didn't get a call back about my car although I kept calling them constantly. After I got upset at them the guy in charge of my car very nasty said that because of me he had to now "rush" and finish my car when he wanted to go home for the weekend. So basically he blamed me for not having my car ready after 3 weeks. Then he calls me back saying that I had to pay more than estimated because they found more things that had to be fixed. Now my car has been in your shop for over 3 weeks and you just now realized when I had the money to come and pay that it was going to be more than it was estimated. They knew my company was paying and didn't tell me ahead of time and my company had already sent the check. The owner promised they'd detail my car and when I picked up it was very dirty. Worse than before. They did such a bad job that unfortunately I didn't notice in the moment. The lift gate they installed was extremely crooked and the paint was not properly polished. Then I noticed the name tags where the car brand is were not placed on the right place and were also missing words and their excuse was that they didnt have picture of it. First, dont you take photos before and even when you dont take pics, isnt google an option to check it out. I went and complained about this they said they'll call me when the plates were in, few months passed no one called me and When I came back they told me to come again in a week because they had to order it. My car now also has a defective liftgate that wont open automatically because they didn't feel like they had to replace it and instead used old damaged parts and now they said is not their fault because it was old parts. Mind my car is one year old and I bought it brand new. So much for lifetime warranty on such unprofessional and crappy job. I was trying to not write a review because the family that owns this seemed like nice people but really what a messed up place. Extremely overpriced, the take more time than promised, the job they do is very low quality and their customer service really sucks. Brought my car in to fix some dents/paint scratches. Merissa helped me see that the damage was worse than i realized. As a woman, going to an auto body shop on your own can be intimidating, so having her there was very helpful. They have a direct relationship with Geico, who is my insurance provider, so it was very easy to put in my claim and meet the Geico inspector on site. They also had someone from Enterprise on site to give me my rental car while repairs were made and i was able to return the rental to east coast when i picked up my car. I recently had my Honda CRV major repair overhaul performed by east coast collision. I was assured by management that the repairs were for life as far as warranty goes. Literally two months after driving it I noticed minor things that I thought were related to the repairs. I went back the owner or manager not sure, remembered me and my car did not even question if I had an anterior motive for bringing the car in and all three minor repairs were fixed within half an hour. I had a Saturday appointment scheduled, but received a call on Thursday letting me know that I could bring my car in a day early if needed. Diana set up my car rental for me when Enterprise didn't have my reservation. It took 2-3 weeks longer than anticipated, but there were damages that were only discovered after opening it up, and I also told them honestly that I was in no rush due to several business trips (and the enjoyment I was deriving from the Jeep I rented). They had my car for over a month the insurance company said they was going to total the car out so i called and ask can i bring it some where else they told me yes , i went to go get my car to drive it some where else and my car was a mess all of my things was all over the place so i asked the guy who did this to my car and he tell me "this always happen you're not the only one this happen to" like excuse me sir . So how did this person get in my car with out a key or broken window ? I gave these people two remote keys one had a battery and one didn't i went there Friday to grab something from the car and they gave me the key with no battery and when i went back on Wednesday the car was a mess , it didn't not look like that on Friday ! She gave me the working key when i went to get the car and i asked for the other one and she insisted they didn't have it so now I'm afraid to leave my car in the area because someone has my other key and can take my car at any giving time .
