I went to the garage for an initial estimate, and then arranged a time to come back once the parts had been delivered. During the repairs, Julio kept me updated via text which was so considerate - no more wondering how the repairs were going / when they'd be done! And the car was ready exactly when he promised it. Best AutoBody shop around. Got into an accident around the end of may was recommended by the insurance company to community auto body. Did a fantastic job. Looks like my car was never in an accident. minor issues here and there but julio gave me his word and found the issue and fixed the issue in a timely manner toke a couple tries but figured it out. I initially went to this shop for my insurance to assess the damages to my car. I didn't do my work at the shop because my boyfriend wanted me to go to his guy. Even knowing I wasn't using his services, Julio was pleasant and welcoming. He wished me the best and told me if there was anything else I needed he would help. The other shop did a pretty good repair. However, my car was returned with one side of my horn not working. I went back and Julio welcomed me in with no hesitation. Was shopping around for the best quote. The quote I received from this shop was almost 2x higher than any other quote. They thought they could pull the blinders over the eyes of a female, not gonna happen folks, walked away and decided to bring my business elsewhere. I have lots of choices in auto body shops in my area. But following a minor fender bender, my AARP Hartford Insurance advisor suggested I try Community Auto Body, which would reduce my deductible by 20%. The shop, deceivingly a small store front in the heart of crowded Guttenberg, did an excellent job. Lisa in the office made it painless, handling all the necessary paperwork that goes with an insurance claim. Enterprise Rent-A-Car picked me up at Community and dropped me off a week later when my car was ready. Julio texted me photos and kept me abreast of progress along the way. Best of all, several nights later, after realizing the headlight on the repaired fender was out, I called Julio. Where other shops would claim they are not responsible since the lights were inspected prior to releasing the vehicle, Julio invited me to stop in and have the bulb replaced -- even as this required disassembly of the entire headlight frame. He did not charge me for this unforeseen task, proof that Community Auto repair lives up to its name as a good and trustworthy neighborhood business. read more
