Great staff! Great doctors ! I can't rave enough about this vet. My Gus had a fox tail in his ear that another vet needed to sedate him for ($1500). Dr K was able to see it and get it out with just a regular visit. He did continue to have an ear infection after that but they got him back to normal after a couple more visits. I never felt scammed or over charged. I usually have to comb thru the vet quote and take all the unnecessary stuff off. Specifically the last people who ran this place were like that. AMAZING staff. AMAZING doctor. This was my first ever call and visit to NACVH. My poor Daisy had an allergic reaction to a bug bite. I called. They said 'come now'. I was there within 15 mins and walked right into a room. Andrew (tech) was super attentive and gentle with my baby. The doctor was a delight. I loved how he gave my Daisy a lil peck on her forehead when he was done examining her. I've been looking for a local vet (live in Vallejo, work in Richmond, current vet in concord). My experience started off positive with a very sweet receptionist and what seemed like an excellent vet tech that started the exam on my dog. The reason for this poor review is because of my AWFUL experience with Dr. G. She was nothing but disrespectful and rude to not only me the whole time, but also to the vet tech which made the appointment unpleasant and very awkward. She was aggressive when moving my sick dog and when the tech tried to step in she snapped at her. I stepped in to defend the tech who was only trying to help then she had the audacity to raise her voice at me. She's clearly incompetent and treats other employees like shit and while my family has been going here for years and has loved it, I will certainly not being going back if Dr G is still around! I can't thank the entire team enough for the care they gave my puppy, Kilo. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, compassionate, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I brought my pitbull puppy in for shots and an exam. She was scared and shivering. The staff was wonderful. Some owned pits themselves and knew how sweet and loving they can be. They were so kind, getting down on the floor with her to soothe and reassure her. Then when the vet came in for the exam, he got down on the floor with her too and was very gentle during the exam. I brought her in yesterday for her booster and noticed a lantern on the corner of the reception desk. On the side of it was written that if the lamp was lit it meant someone was saying goodbye to their pet and asked the other patrons to be mindful and keep the noise down out of respect for their grief. I thought that was such a warm and supportive touch. It reflects the whole tone of that office. They're not just focused on helping the pet but helping and supporting the pet's owner too. This as my third visit. This place is relaxed, without a bunch of formalities and without a bunch of paperwork, and you can even sit inside with your pet. They also don't hesitate to say things as they are without the carefully worded "liability," type verbiage I get with most other vets. The see a problem and they fix it. This reminds me how vets were 10-15 years ago. Additionally, they are not trying to sell you expensive testing, etc. Also, one of the very best things is their availability. Same day, next day...even open on weekends. They are off the main roads, so to speak, but it's worth taking your business to them. Our resident feral cat got an abscess. She just needed to have it drained and cleaned and antibiotics...but at first the doctor told us it would cost over a thousand dollars......for a stray who runs from us in fear? ....we didnt have the money, we couldn't justify spending so much on an animal that isnt even a pet, so we were prepared to have her put down but the Veterinarian gave our cat a new lease on life for a basic fee. He is a compassionate and decent human being and a really great vet. It seemed as if the entire office shed tears of joy that day! I know I did. I brought my dog in specifically for pus in the urine, expecting evaluation and treatment for a likely urinary tract infection. The initial estimate provided was $350. After the exam, the bill had increased to approximately $700 -- before performing a urine culture and sensitivity, which was quoted as an additional $300. While the staff was polite and professional, I was troubled by how quickly the visit escalated to bloodwork, three-view X-rays, IV fluids ($65), and discussions of possible tumors or surgery before confirming the most likely diagnosis. The focus seemed to shift toward expensive worst-case scenarios rather than first addressing the presenting complaint. Ultimately, my dog was prescribed antibiotics for a UTI -- which was the reason for the visit. I understand the importance of thorough medicine, but there should be clearer distinction between essential diagnostics and optional add-ons, especially when costs are doubling without clear justification. I left feeling that the diagnostic approach was financially aggressive and not well aligned with the initial concern. WARNING: My kitten died after spay here. New All Creatures tied BOTH of her ureters (where pee goes from kidneys to bladder) into the tissue by her ovaries during a spay, according to the Sage Vet Hospital ultrasound.I took her back in to New All Creatures the day after her spay because she was lethargic and unable to pee the day after surgery, and the vet at New All Creatures said she was ok. Actually, she was in acute kidney failure by the time I took her to Sage that night. Even UC Davis vet said they couldn't save her. She was perfectly healthy when I took her in. Botched surgery killed her. read more

I am very pleased with the care my senior chihuahua received at New All Creatures Veterinary Hospital. On Sunday throughout the day I noticed my chi's lower jaw was becoming more and more swollen. So about one minute before they closed I called to see if I could schedule an appointment for the next day. They were able to schedule one first thing Monday morning. Upon check-in the front desk staff was warm and friendly and the lobby and exam room was clean and well organized. During my dog's exam Dr. Guduri assessed that one of her last remaining teeth had become abscessed and she required a dental surgery. Before the procedure was to begin Dr.Guduri was completely transparent about the pricing and the steps that were going to be taken. After the surgery was completed and I went to pick her up, the vet tech thouroughly went over the take home meds and said I could call anytime if any questions came up. Then the next day Dr.Guduri called to follow up on Frenchy's progress. Our dog was badly hurt in a dog attack while we were out of the country and our boarder took him to New All Creatures, which was the decision that saved his life. Over the course of a week, the staff and vets did great work stabilizing and checking in on our dog. Dr. G gave incredible follow up care and surgery when needed, and Shyla helped get our dog to his overnight practice for additional care. When we took him to his follow up appointment, it was clear how much the staff cared about his wellbeing and were willing to work with him despite his reactivity and fear of the vet. We are so grateful to them for saving his life, and going above and beyond to help my parents keep him cared for and safe until we could get home. read more

Nope. Chaotic yet very few animals were there. No chart. Dr L was my vet until they closed so I transfered my pets to another clinic. They reopened and I thought I'd give them another try. The vet was really nice. Bent down to my dogs eye level to make him less nervous. Bedside matter was 10/10. Before that apt i asked them to call and have my pets records transfered over. I offered to call them myself. The front desk operators told me they would do it np. My dog has reoccurring skin issues. His breed and environmental are always a problem. It was essential those records were transferred over as his treatment plans had been an on going thing where different treatments were tried. The apt timeliness was definitely accommodating but when I arrived the front desk associates were no longer there. The previous vet was also leaving and not avail. The new vet which I hadn't met had a bedside manner of a 5/10 she wasn't rude just very basic. They asked me several questions which I struggled to remember brand names and kept asking them to refer to his records. I waited 15 minutes in the waiting area for my dogs meds to be brought out. At the time of payment I asked them if they had his flea and tick meds on file and they said they didnt have the file and it was never transfered over from his previous vet. This request was back in Jan 2026. Its now Sept 2nd. How are you treating my pet with an ongoing skin condition without knowing his previous treatments? My dogs are 7 and 8. They both had been going to all creatures since they were 1 and 2. They were seen by another clinic about 2 years so there should be substantial records for both my dogs at all creatures still. The prices were much more than id ever paid. I've never paid for a nail trim at all creatures before. Ever. My bills were never under $500 per visit so they always did it as a cutesy. $40 for a nail trim. Im so disappointed. Not going back. Im sure they dont care. Side note: Andrea came out and went over all the meds thoroughly. I appreciated her. Cytopoint was $100 more than I've ever paid. This experience was just a disappointment. SAGE the emergency vet in concord was even less expensive. Do not recommend. read more
