I was in need of a hairdresser desperately as my hairdresser all of a sudden close their door. My hair is shorter than shoulder length, and I needed my grey covered and some foils. I also wanted to trim and a blowout. The woman on the phone was very nice and very friendly and said l when I inquired on the price " you're looking at $160" and I will put you down for a Color and root touchup. Then I heard someone saying something in the background and she said may I put you on hold when the call came back on. It was a different woman's voice who sounded older and told me -now mind you site unseen. -It would start at $230. $230!! START??They haven't even seen my hair they don't know if I have thick hair, thin hair how short my hair is - how ridiculous is that?! Needless to say I didn't make an appointment and I would never step foot in that place and I would tell everybody who asked me for a good hairdresser about my experience with them on the phone.

Two days prior to discharge, my Mom was excited about going home; however, she was embarrassed that her hair had not been cut and styled in a number of weeks. I called two local salons asking if any stylists would be willing to come on site to Sky Rehab to cut and style my Mom's hair. Unfortunately, the first two salons I spoke with (by phone) thought my request was somewhat odd, they were short on the phone, and unable to assist. Fortunately, my third call was to Bella Salon & Spa. The receptionist I spoke with was very cordial. I quickly explained the situation and made my request. I then overheard the receptionist repeating my "odd request" to a room full of stylists. Fortunately, I heard a "I'll do it" and the phone was handed to Callie. I quickly explained the situation and my request to Callie. She very quickly agreed to assist. I wanted to make sure I had enough cash to pay for the service and tip, so prior to hanging up, I ask for the total charge amount and she said "it's free, I want to help your Mom feel beautiful." We worked the out details for Callie to come to Sky the next day (a Friday) at 3:30 PM. Around lunch, Callie texted me that she was running behind and would likely be 15 minutes late. Callie arrived on site at 3:40. I greeted Callie at the Sky front door and escorted her to the courtyard where my Mom was seated in her wheelchair. Callie was so sweet to my Mom treating her like a VIP client - asking how she was doing, talking about my Mom's grand kids and wanting to make sure her hair was cut and styled exactly how she wanted it. Once Callie finished, she gave my Mom a hug and I gave her a very nice tip as I escorted her back to her car. This was Callie's last style for the week and she could have easily passed on the request to go home early to spend time with her two sweet kids. I will forever remember and be grateful for Callie's generous act of kindness.

I was fortunate to have an upscale nail salon near my home there that provided first class services. I am happy enough with the service I got here but definitely not up to par with what I am accustomed to. Charges were different from the published price. My husband also gets a monthly pedi which every place I am aware of both in Northern Va where I also lived for 50 + years and Tampa Bay where we lived 5 + years priced basic pedicure that included removal of calluses it is $15 additional for this service there mot acceptable in my opinion. I believe my charges were also incorrect as a brow is listed at $10 pedicure basic $30 with callous removal $45 and dip color at $40. I was charged $133 and we gave a $26 tip as the service was acceptable. I had hoped this would be a place I could depend on for this service but that will not be the case. I will be trying other salons until I can find one that is comparable to what I expect.

The vibe is super relaxing and chill so grateful for the nail tech that did my nails. I had a gentleman who was my technician and it was just a horrible experience. First, he said I had gel on my nails and that I lied to him when I said I just wanted a pedicure. Let me just say I've never had gel in my nails even once. Once he realized he was wrong he just shook his head and started working. He then told me he wouldn't cut my nails as he thought they were short enough and he handed me the clippers and suggested that I cut them myself. I told him that if I wanted to cut them myself I could have stayed home and given myself a pedi. In addition, he cut me on two of my toes one of which is still healing. Do not go here they are awful. And, as I left he said see you next time. I looked right at him and I said NOT.

Typically, she does exactly what I ask her to do, and I walk out with exactly what I want. The last time I was there, I asked HER to design a haircut for me. She took her time talking with me about different options, explained different styles that would suit the shape of my face, and even mentioned other things we could do if I wanted to go longer or shorter in the future. I left with a haircut that's very cute and easy to style, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with different lengths and styles in the future. I feel like I'm in very good hands with Regina, and I love having her as my stylist.

Also all over hair color fade. Alisa consulted Regina and did my roots but also pulled color through hair because it was faded. I was told if it doesn't cover I could come back by Alisa. It looked OK when I left but they have poor lighting and after 1 shampoo I saw light roots and gray at my part with a red cast at crown as well as my part as seen by a friend who is a retired hair stylist so it's not just me! I had her look at my hair to be sure. This was 3 days after I had my roots colored & color pulled through to ends. The photo with very dark brown hair is what it should be and not what I got. I went back in after calling first & Regina said I could come in. She did not sit me down and look at my hair. She never combed through. She was curt from the time I walked in. She called the stylist who colored my hair to apparently come watch as she "handled me". Regina glanced at my part and said she saw nothing wrong. She didn't look close at my hair, her mind seemed made up. I asked her a few times. No nothing she said several times. Finally I said you don't see gray HERE pointing to my part in front. She said yes but that's going to happen as your hair grows out. I said not in 3 days! I told her what I read on the brand of color's website & also what my retired stylist friend suggested: add a cool/ash color in to the mix of the 4n color desired. Regina said she would never use ash on gray hair. And she said she was a trained color expert. I didn't say that: I said mix ash ie a cool color with the other color to keep it from pulling warm Colors (red/gold/brassy) and to cover the stubborn grays that grew back after chemo. She refused to correct my hair after alisha said she would make it right if it didn't cover. I also called & spoke to Regina twice and she told Me I could come in but she clearly had no intent of correcting it or allowing Alisa to. Regina did all the talking and Alisa stood there. I finally said well I paid $150. For a root touch up and tipped $30 so I'm NOT ok with this. Regina just said sorry and was very curt/talked over me. I will never go back. My hair may be more hard to cover after chemo but she made no attempt to make it right & not how I expect to be treated. My hair should be dark brown not medium brown and not have gray still at part along with lighter color at part and crown. Lastly I could not tip with my debit or credit card per Regina's salon rules and had to Venmo Alisha her tip! I was never told a total and had to ask so I could tip her. I was told I would be emailed a receipt and never got one. **The photos with dark hair were both done after chemo. So it can be done.
