The building is quiet with a very culturally, diverse population of resident who are friendly and inclusive with all of the activities planned in the building holidays are observed the meal that sponsored by administration, there is a shuttle that takes the residence to various grocery stores in Walmart once a week as well as some other social outings during the year. Utilities are included in the income based rent rate that is fair in the apartments our roomie I have a large studio on the north side of the building and my view is of the golf course and Lake Michigan. The building is secured 24 seven by an inner door that is locked and requires resident approval for entrance, and the outer door is locked every evening until daybreak. The neighborhood is clean and quiet, and although I've never lived this far south, I couldn't be happier with my apartment. It is pet friendly with certain restrictions regarding breed and size of the dog or cat administration is strict with the resident rules, which are clearly explained at time of move-in with an easy to read resident manual. There is complementary housekeeping once a month as well as a free laundry on each floor The apartments on the north side of the building have the better views so if you think about moving in here, request a unit on that side of the building My only criticism is the hassle that I have been dealing with over the status of my emotional support/assistance animal, which is exempt from the pet pee that they want to charge me despite having the documentation from my doctor and the Illinois attorney general's office regarding the assistance animal status . But we're still working on that issue so beware but I couldn't be happier here and know that it could be a lot worse. Having a wonderful neighbors makes it all worthwhile.

This place will not take people back on the weekends. So Friday night/ Saturday morning they are sent back until Monday morning. This is cause they don't have a nurse on the weekends. Now they will have security preventing a medicar driver or an emt from getting them in. Your loved one will get sent back to the hospital. Because the room has been cleaned for another patient, your loved one is put in the ER waiting room or if lucky a bed in the ER hallway. I find this shocking considering how much money this place costs people.

She just said "put your leg on the board" and walked to some small room in the back. I'm standing in front of this "board" with the back of my leg on the board. She walks out of the small room and just looks at me. No words. Just looks. So I assumed she was waiting for me to reposition it. I do and start moving it, she said "I said against the board." I asked her how and she begrudgingly showed me. I then said "oh with an arch." She says nothing. She then tells me to "bend my leg." She is standing so close to me that I can't move my left one so I'm not falling over. She taps the belt I had on me prior to showing me how to position myself. Inappropriate. She senses I'm upset. She asks if I'm okay. I say no. I told her she has not been demonstrating and she said "if I knew you didn't understand English, I would've gotten you someone." I about lost it. It was about 3 times during those X-rays that I almost walked out of the office completely. She started to gaslight me trying to change the sequence of events. No I know the order of what happened first. No bedside manner whatsoever. Will not be going back.

IT took me…read more1&1/2 hour wait and had to call the front desk 5 times tonight just to get someone finally came to my room to get me a cup of rice only since the caller was not working at all??!!! Some CNAs are just lazy and not professionally trained well that when I need them to come and clean my poops bucket, they did not want to rinse the poops bucket, instead they just empty it by dumping the poops into the toilet bowl without at least rinse the dirty and smelly bucket first, and the black female CNAs just put a plastic bag as a liner over the bucket???!!! Very disgusting and unsanitized behavior and unprofessional with an attitude when you ask her to do the right way of cleaning the bucket, she gave me the excuse of saying she is not a maid??!! I was so shocked, trust me even if I need a maid that I wouldn't even consider her as an candidate!!! Oh. NO, NEVER!!!! The food here is very disgusting and nasty most of the times!!!
