I had the best experience here!!! First, the space is so clean and modern and spacious. They had a promo for $168 for 2 hours of treatment! I had a one hour massage followed by their one hour headspa treatment and it was amazing! They use these hot herbal soups over your hair and massage every part of your scalp and neck and shoulders. I instantly felt all my tensions release. They use Dyson hairdryers! Will definitely come back!!!

60 mins - $118 There's so many places that do this scalp treatment but not all places are very clean. This place uses high quality herbs for the hair wash and does the treatment very discreetly. They also have Dyson dryers which not all head spa has. The price is worth the 60 mins.

    Clean scalp!

Very beautiful, clean space with modern vibes. Upstairs from street. Go to signs for Toudaotang. Cleanest scalp massage ever. This is my fourth one (and fourth place) and definitely the cleanest my scalp has felt. Feels more scientific than spa-y vs other places. Good deal for 10-packs. $118 for 60 min usually.

They took their time, made us feel relaxed. The staff was nice, and they offered many different services, including: facials, foot massages, and scalp treatment.

Just had the Stellar M22 Photorejuvenation treatment at @newbliss and I'm beyond impressed! It is a light treatment that uses Intense Pulsed Light ( IPL ) to improves: Pigmentation Age/ Sun Spots/ Freckles/ Rosacea Broken Capillaries Overall Skin Appearance The Stellar M22 uses IPL to target and heat specific areas of the skin, which destroys damaged cells and stimulates collagen and elastin production. Treatments can take as little as 20 minutes, but the number of treatments needed depends on skin type and the issue being treated A topical numbing cream may be used during the treatment to ensure comfort. You may feel a warm or prickling sensation while the laser is applied. I feel more confident after treatment, My skin looks brighter and feels softer, glowing and lines are softened.  The price :$600 They also have another special sale going on for only on October and November. You can get 75 minutes facial for only $148 and you get FREE hair spa treatment ($118 value) . And 2 for 1 Head Spa Promo Available everyday after 6 pm. 36-29 Main St #2FL, Flushing, NY

I was able to call in the morning to schedule a same-day appointment today. The space is clean and comfortable. Nancy, who did my head spa, was so friendly and caring. She kept checking if the temperature and strength were okay for me. There are three "soups" made with traditional chinese method, massages on upper back, back of neck, and chest, other than the head. I already felt my scalp is much clearer and I really liked it. So I joined the membership and will come back at least once per month!!

the place i went for hair spa is excllent, I will highly recommend the place. The therapist Jia is a skill full and experience. The place is clean, modern and comfortable. Everyone her is friendly. my hair feels fresh and silky after the treatment .

This was my first experiencing Head therapy "Toudaotang" at New Bliss, it is definitely exceeded my expectation. My therapist was Henry, he was professional and skillful. I felt so relaxed and my hair felt healthier than ever before. I would definitely come back again!!!

My friend recommended me to try out this new spa in flushing. I did the Holographic Head Therapy and my head masseuse did a great job. I definitely recommend trying this new spa out!!

It was cool. I wasn't sure what to expect z I came because I wanted a Korean spa experience…read moreespecially a body scrub. The front door explain the entrance fee but when I asked questions about the other services the woman was a little abrupt and rude. I mean whatever I asked she mentioned the fee. I told her I know and I guess she wanted that fee before I realize the massage is really bodywork. I told her it is my first time here. I wanted to leave but stayed because i traveled so far and I wasn't in the mood to find somewhere else. It was my birthday. Anyhow I pay get my uniform go to lockers. I noticed the sign and picture of two thieves and others about lost towel and key fees. Anyway the locker room plays Korean drama and attendants are the ones who sell the other services. I lounged around in the coed area and then tried every steam and sauna for 20 minutes. I walked around in my socks. It was pretty quiet and peaceful . It wasn't full of people either. I go to the front desk to ask if there are slides or slippers. My feet got really hot in the sauna I was wearing socks . One must either be in socks or barefoot. I asked him about the additional services and he said the women in the locker rooms do those. The woman in the locker room are the "masseuse " or "esthetician" in a sense. Before entering the wet room (one removes their spa uniform showers ) before using the jacuzzi steam room and cold plunge. Ok so I decided to get the Korean body scrub and massage. The body scrub was better than the massage. I braced myself each time I was rinsed with water. A basin of water gets thrown on you. The massage included a facial and I appreciate her massaging my stomach where I tend to get fibroids. The facial left my skin glowing . Overall i probably won't go back but i feel encouraged to check out higher end spas and treat myself more. I think these spas are good for sauna unless your gym has one. It was an ok value. You get what you pay for. The skin care is cucumber based.

My family and I came here on a Friday and had a fantastic time!…read more Pros: - About a 50-minute drive (35 minutes without traffic) from Bed-Stuy, and found street parking right outside the entrance. - Easy check-in and seamless locker experience similar to Sojo Spa, where you put your shoes and clothes in separate lockers. They provide a bathrobe, a hand towel, and slippers. No outside flip flops allowed. When you are ready to shower, you can ask for larger shower towels. - Large, spacious, and clean facility with Greek-esque blue and white architectural details. We enjoyed the open layout with the different heated pools, the vast array of strong jets, and the hot tubs. All the jet buttons worked, and the jets turned on right away. We loved the large Himalayan Salt sauna, which was also the hottest. Overall it wasn't crowded at all! - My daughter loved the outdoor pool with the overhead waterfall, the indoor pool right by the bar, the playhouses in the relaxation area, and the kids' playroom. - The hydrotherapy pools, cold baths, and steam room in the changing areas/locker rooms were clean and well-maintained. - The Korean food is delicious! The Korean Beef Stew was some of the best we've had in a while. - Kids allowed (all ages accepted!), and my daughter had a blast! Cons: - Some of the rooms, such as the relaxation room at the top, could use an upgrade. - The co-ed outdoor dry sauna needs to be much hotter. Wish they had a co-ed steamroom like at AIRE Ancient Baths. - Some of the shower heads in the sitting shower area were weak and needed fixing. - The foosball table for kids was missing the ball, and needed extras around. - $13 ramen was the 85-cent Paldo Gomtang Korean Beef Flavored Instant Noodle Soup you can get at H-Mart. Note: - Take advantage of the 30% off admission special offers on https://shop.nyspacastle.com/newyork/index.php. $59.50 for adults M-T and $77 for adults F-Sunday. You cannot redeem and use it within 24 hours! "Any earlier attempt to redeem is invalid. If you plan to visit the facility within 24 hours, please make your purchase in-store." I've been a loyal Spa Castle customer from day one, even during the times they closed for…read morerenovations. I've always supported this place and truly wanted it to continue being great. Last Wednesday, we visited from around 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM (they close at 9:30 PM), so we were mindful not to rush them or their closing shift. Overall, the spa experience itself was good. The facilities were fine, and the food was absolutely chef's kiss as always -- that part never disappoints. I also understand that prices have gone up, and while Spa Castle is now priced similarly to SoJo Spa, I didn't mind paying more since everything else in life has also gone up. However, the experience was completely ruined at the very end. When we were about to leave, we realized there were no hair dryers at all -- not even one. Yes, you read that right: a spa with NO hair dryers. I asked the three ladies at the front desk if there were any hair dryers available, and they told me, "We don't have any. Customers steal them." I was shocked. That is not the customer's responsibility -- it's the spa's responsibility to manage and replace basic amenities. A hair dryer is a basic service at any spa, especially in winter, when it's cold outside and people cannot walk out with wet hair. When we went to check out, a male and a female staff member were at the counter. The man asked how our experience was, and I honestly said everything was fine except for the fact that there were no hair dryers, which was very disappointing. He looked at the female staff member, and she said, "We do have one hair dryer. Did you ask them?" I told her yes -- we asked twice, and three employees told us there were none. Instead of apologizing or trying to help, her tone was rude and dismissive. There was no effort to resolve the issue or even acknowledge how uncomfortable and unfair that situation was. No spa should send guests out into the cold with wet hair after they paid full price for the experience. Sadly, the lack of basic amenities and the unprofessional attitude at the front desk completely ruined what could have been a great visit. I was very disappointed, especially as someone who has supported Spa Castle for years. At this point, I would rather go to King Spa or SoJo Spa, where customer service and basic spa standards are taken seriously. Very upsetting experience, and sadly, I don't think I'll be returning.

When I was trying to see if it was possible to make an appointment on the same day, the receptionist said I can just pay at the spa, instead of getting a Groupon deal (probably because Groupon takes out some portion as commission). I was really hesitant because I've paid the spa directly before and when the service was terrible, I couldn't get Groupon customer service protection. Since this spa allowed me to split 3 facial package with my husband, I agreed to pay the spa directly. We were 10 minutes late because there just wasn't any parking available around Main Street, but the receptionist was very understanding and said don't worry about being late. Once we got there, we were in a couple room and got changed and got started right away. I had Tina and my husband had Zoe - they were both professional and extraction and décolletage massage was nice. They didn't push us to upgrade the service and my husband and I were so comfortable that we both fell asleep and snored. I definitely had a better product and techniques before and I would rate this place more like 4.5 stars, but since the customer service was great, I'm leaving 5 stars. *Tip: pay in cash because if you use your credit card, tax will be charged.

I came on a groupon, in my search to find my new regular spot, but honestly was rather disappointed. The products used are ok - Keve and Collin - some generic spa stuff (did not see any commercial stuff like Vaseline or other drug store brands, as you might at some other cheap spas). My facial was actually somewhat torturous -- the facial massage is just so rough and not at all relaxing or rejuvenating. I felt like the facialist was trying to force moisture back into my poor dry skin. The extractions were fine, on the properly aggressive side. I HATE that they use razor to do eyebrows - no reason not to pluck, esp as I wasn't that overgrown! I would not return, though packages run from as low as about $35 per facial in a package of 10.
