One of the worst service experiences I've had in years! Not sure how this has a 5 star but we came with a 4pm appointment and we waited over 2.5 hours after the appointment time before getting the service!!! The facility seems nice but the staff is all over the place. After waiting 1.5 hour in the lobby room, they told us to go to the rooms which were not yet cleaned! We told them that they were used and they took another 30 min to clean and set up. Then when we laid in the room, we waited for another 30 min for a total of 2.5 hours. We had a dinner reservation for mother's Day and had to push it twice to fit this booking in. The worst part is we got zero apologies and when I complained the representative told me to stop asking and go back in the room. They didn't seem to care about our bad experience being so delayed in the least. Totally appaling experience. read more

Tried Tou Dou Tang for the first time for a scalp analysis and herbal shampoo massage. I went on a Monday evening and was surprised it was pretty empty. The scalp massage itself was great--the staff member who worked on me was skilled, and I felt relaxed throughout the entire process. I also really liked the bathroom decor, which added a nice touch to the overall experience. However, communication was a challenge. None of the staff spoke strong English, and there wasn't any visual guide or video to help explain the scalp analysis. It made it difficult to fully understand the results and recommendations. I ended up purchasing a scalp spray for $40, which I was told was 50% off from $80. I'm not entirely sure how accurate that was, especially after noticing the expiration date is October 2026--it left me a bit unsure about the value. In total, I paid around $180 including tip, which feels quite expensive for the experience. Overall, it's a relaxing treat, but probably more of an occasional self-care splurge rather than something I'd do regularly. read more

I had a one hour massage followed by their one hour headspa treatment and it was amazing! They use these hot herbal soups over your hair and massage every part of your scalp and neck and shoulders. Amazing experience at Nee Bliss Beauty!! I arrived after a long haul flight from Argentina and was in dire need of pampering. The team at NBB exceeded expectations!!! Two hours of BLISs!! Scalp and hair treatment therapy have been on the rise in popularity and I've been looking into getting my hair done for a while. I found this on the way shopping in Flushing and I am so glad I stopped in! When you walk in, you see an open space and in natural light wood colors. There's the calming spa music playing as well that sets the mood. You first get a consultation where they show your scalp and hair condition using a microscopic camera. Then, you get changed and they start you off with a neck and scalp massage with oil. My neck and upper shoulders have been so sore from working but my masseuse really got ALL the knots! She even took great care to turn my head very gently which I appreciated. After the massage, you soak your head in a warm herbal "soup" that they say has good restorative properties. After a bit, they then go in and wash with a gentle shampoo/conditioner and do another head massage as well. When everything is done, they dry your hair and put an amazing smelling hair oil in it. Truly so relaxing! When I went to comb my hair, it was so silky and soft. Definitely a transformation for my damaged and color treated hair. The only down side, really, is that it's near the street so you can hear the traffic occasionally but this con should not deter you from this great service.
