General Tso's Chicken*
Eric G.

Food is really good. I ordered the General TOS Chicken with fried rice and a egg roll. Food is hot and full of flavor. E people are very nice and compliment the restaurant. Now on the down side. No buffet. Restaurant is very small. Has 2 tables. You order and wait and leave. But food is great. Food is A, service is A, restaurant is D.

Crab Rangoon

We love this Chinese restaurant. The service is always incredibly friendly. You can look right into the kitchen as they prepare the food. As you can see, the servings are large. The picture of the Mongolian Beef, there is a ton of meat. The Crab Rangoon is among the best I've had. They deliver and we always enjoy our meal.

I think sometime in the near future, I'll try dining in. I frequently change my entree, but I always get one egg roll and an order of crab rangoon. The egg roll is larger than most Chinese restaurants. I like that it's super crispy and the inside is packed full. The crab rangoon comes with four pieces and they'll ask you if you want a side of sweet & sour sauce. If you say yes, you'll get a small cup of the red sauce like when you order Sweet & Sour Pork or Chicken. They don't give you those small packets like other restaurants. My usual go to entrees are always Beef and Broccoli or General Tso's Chicken. Both of them are very good. I do the B&B when I'm trying to eat healthy Chinese. The beef is tender and the broccoli is soft, but still has a little snap to it. When enjoying the Beef and Broccoli, I have white rice. The General Tso's Chicken has a lite crispy coating and the sauce blends perfectly with fried rice, instead of white rice. Service is over the top friendly. It has curry in it, just in case you're not into that. We had pork chow mein and the slabs of pork were great! Big chunks. Dark fried rice, St. Paul Sammy, pork egg rolls cooked to a perfect crisp. I really have 0 complaints. Everything was above average. This isn't 3 Michelins stars kind of good, but it's 5 Stars on Yelp good. I'm hard of hearing so I needed my wife to help hear the woman behind the counter. She was great! Very helpful and even threw an extra bag of crab Rangoon. What she didn't know is that's my wife's favorite and it was her birthday dinner. She just wanted Chinese take out from a new place. So off to Star we went and they couldn't have done it any better. I'm so glad we went and will definitely be back. Now... ambiance is EXACTLY what you'd want from a take out Chinese place. The door bell is perfect and you'll understand when you go! Just embrace it. They do! All in all, 5 China Stars, will return. Enjoy!

Curry chicken was great! Lots of chicken, could have used a few more pea pods, but nice and spicy, crisp veggies, really good. The chicken fried rice had a lot of chicken but was a little bland. Still good. I will get this again.

They had some very nice pieces of Asian Art all throughout the place. The food was great. The presentation was exceptional. The soup was delicious. The spring rolls were delicious. The heavenly beef was very good. It was some type of beef jerky. The pad Thai rice was good with just enough spice. I asked for a 2 for the spice level. The customer service was great. Our server did a great job. I believe they said he was the owner. He checked on us often. He offered suggestions. He kept our drinks full. He was very personable. Additionally he had a wonderful since if humor. I left very impressed and full. Everything was reasonably priced. There is parking in front. The one area in which they need some improvements was the restroom. It needed to be updated to reflect the rest of the restaurant.

Seriously, I drive up and…read moredown Rte 157 and never noticed this little strip center that sits off the road and down in a hollow. It kind of makes it a hidden treasure and I'm glad that I found it. My visit was during a Saturday lunch and I was impressed. I started my meal with Fried Spring Rolls filled with vegetables and served Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. They were a thin crisp shell, that still gave a nice crunch when bitten into. The sauce was a accompaniment. For an entree I chose, Drunken Noodles and added Beef for my protein. I was torn between Pad Thai and the Drunken Noodle and when I asked my server, she said their most popular dish was Drunken Noodles. Then when I went to add my protein it was between chicken and beef. She said beef was her favorite add, so I went with her recommendation. Once my entree arrived to the table I was surprised by its size. It was huge. It was so big, it could have been a meal for two. Guess who had leftovers for lunch the next day. The noodles were flavorful and lots of tender beef and had plenty of veggies. My spice level was 3 out of 5 and I still was sweating along my hairline. Next visit I may have to scale back to a two. The service was attentive and the young lady who was my server, had a bubbly personality. I also had a young man who brought me my order, checked on me and I wasn't even his table. Now that I have found this hidden treasure, I will definitely be back. When: March 7, 2026 Why: Lunch
