This was our first time but it won't be our last. We arrived about 1:30pm, so slightly after the lunch rush, and we're immediately seated. The food on the Buffett looked and tasted good and fresh, with one exception. I very much enjoyed the various chicken dishes, the rice was appropriately cooked, and the beef and broccoli was excellent. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The one exception, and the reason for four stars and not five, is one buffet line had a few done unique dishes that looked a bit old. Nope!!!! I ate here in 2010 and it was so good.... Fast forward to last week and absolutely not!! I'm not sure if the owners changed or what happened, but the food wasn't good at all! We arrived at opening and the buffet was open and full. It is a very small buffet. Everything on it was either dry, like it had been sitting for HOURSSS or cold. Instead of fresh and hot. I don't understand it. No green onions for soup. Taste and flavors to everything I tried wasn't good. Sadly, it was barely edible. Ambiance.... It was a Friday and it was dead!! One table came in when we were leaving. Although I brought my 16 month baby granddaughter and her food, I did try to give her some bites off of my plate, that she didn't want. Stopped around noon on a weekday. It's a hole in the wall kind of place, which I usually like. Has a weird setup, with the waitresses working from a table in the middle of the room, boxes filling one of the buffet lines, and just an overall sense of wear with the surroundings. Sooooo, went here at 9:00 on the night after moving my stepdaughter in the dorms for her first nght in college. We were tired and starving, and all the reviews on another website said this place was great! After eating there, I'm willing to bet that they were all written by the same person. I gave them two stars because it was our bad for going there at 9:00 for a buffet that closes at 9:30. Some of the stuff could possibly have been pretty good at least two hours earlier. But for real? The fried rice had been out so long that it was hard as a rock, and let's just face it, it ain't that hard to fry up some rice or at least stir it around. I always receive the best service when I come to this establishment. They are always so polite and helpful. The food is always fresh and tasty. This was my first time placing a take out order with them and the food was great! I had such a great experience and I will gladly say, I will always keep coming to this location. I've been to a lot of Chinese Buffets and this is one is by far the most pleasant! Immaculate floors, good furniture (not old, falling apart, or dirty), and best of all, great food. So much variety, and what I had was done correctly. I really appreciate how close it is to Pilot, it's refreshing to get to eat something other than fast food. We have eaten here many times and the food is normally very good.My suggestion would be to order from the menu late it will be prepared fresh.Even though they are not closed at 900 pm they are getting close to closing time and aren't going to prepare much more for the buffet.They are very nice people and run a nice business. read more

You folks in Senatobia have it made! I just moved here from Southaven and love it so far. There was no wait here on a Sunday night, now that may not be good for a business, but for me it was awesome. I like not having to wait every single time you go somewhere. The food was excellent with a great variety on their buffet. It was all hot and tasted fresh, they even have some basic sushi prepared. The restaurant was clean and had some neato light fixtures. Price was good and the staff was friendly, what more could you ask for? read more

I went during lunch time around 12:30 PM. There was plenty of variety and quantity. The food quality, and service was good. This is one of the few dine in places in Senatobia with no plastic tables, so I enjoyed this venue. As an outsider this restaurant gets an OK rating. But by Senatobia standards others probably would say it gets 1 more star. read more

This was such a good Chinese restaurant. It has changed ownership. They do not make the same recipes any more. It is not as good.

I have been eating at this place since they opened and their food is always good. I love the general t chicken. It is a local family owned restaurant. I usually order the food fresh but i see lots of people eating from the buffet. And the lady who left the other review obviously never worked in the restaurant field. I know from experience that 30 mins before you close you are not going to make a whole buffet full of food just to go to waste. If your eating from the buffet you know that it is not always the freshest especially close to closing time. Also the buffet during lunch is around 5 dollars so the dinner is probably around 8 dollars, you cant complain for these prices. If you want the best quality food then just order off the menu because i do and its always great. read more
