This was our first time ordering from there. We are really happy to have tried it, from the first bite We knew it was better than our regular Chinese place. We got schezuan beef and general tso chicken. Pork fried rice and white rice. Both rices were GOOD. The meats..super tasty, good amount of protein, delicious. Good portions. The only "curious " thing was that the chicken was as spicy as the beef, and the sauce even had pepper seeds, I don't know if it was a mix up cause tso isnt spicy (or we have never had it like that) The breading on the tso was balanced , it wasn't just a ball of dough. I never give reviews, but this place deserves one. Simply put, it's the best takeout Chinese I've found in the Tampa area. My family probably eats it once a week. Pork Lo Mein, general tso's chicken, chicken with broccoli are our go-tos. I recently had to go to a different takeout and was reminded just how amazing this place is. Bland, cheap food with a seemingly indifferent staff. I ordered the lunch shrimp with lobster cause and wonton soup. The wontons in the soup looked very overcooked and tasted that way; the broth was basically okay. There were no pork strips or anything else to give it flavor other than some scallions. The shrimp with lobster sauce had four shrimp and what appeared to be slices of imitation crab meat. It wasn't very tasty. Bless the owners of New China, and their young daughter. They opened on Sept. 11 and worked their tails off for ten hours feeding their hungry community. I was fortunate that they took 'one final order' after their last call at 9:00 tonight. They made us a wonderful rice noodle dish with egg and chicken, peppered steak and chicken with veggies and spring rolls. It was so good that we all ate two full plates. I really like this restaurant on any regular day but now feel a special gratitude to them and their selflessness. I hope the young woman's wrist feels better soon (it was very sore from working the frying basket all day). Thank you again! read more

This is by far one of the best Chinese food takeout we have ordered from... We have been ordering for about 4 years... They always make sure our order is exceptional.. We ordered and picked up our food. They shorted us our fried rice. They asked for the phone number it was called in under. We gave them the number. They said they can't look it up by the phone number. I said I would just come in and pay for it again if I had to. They didn't even listen and went on and on about our order. What did the person look like that picked it up. I said if it's that big of a deal maybe we shouldn't order from them again. The response shocked me as the girl said Ok that's fine. I'm a little upset..This use to be my husband's stop to bring us great food since the ones around our house isn't that good. I don't know if it's new cooks, management or what but ewwwwh... No taste, the sweet and sour sauce tasted like strawberry syrup... the bourbon chicken had a weird film that put a bad taste in your mouth. The rice was dry.. the ONLY thing the same was the egg roll it was very good. Man a great place went to the dumps. I can make better Chinese food at home...Sad... read more

Shouldn't even be one star . They messed up an order and when daughter brought it home they said they wouldn't fix the issue . It was all over something that cost less than $5.00. Horrible customer service . We will never go back to this place or make any new orders read more

I really wanted to add this place to my egg drop soup list. Unfortunatley my plan was thwarted by a five dollar debit card minimum. This means that either no one is buying the egg drop here, OR paper money has come back in fashion. If the card company is charging so much that it doesn't even make fiscal sense to offer egg drop, then take it off the menu? I am referring t the larghest size available which would have taken me a day to sip. Just sayin. read more

WORST EVER !!!! Ordered roast pork lo mein and chicken with curry. First Lo Mein noodles where over cooked and hardly any sauce and No flavor. Chicken curry only had 3 pieces REALLY !!!!! Food here is average but a good value, especially their lunch & dinner combos (you get quite a lot for not much money). Best to get take-out as there is not a lot of seating or atmosphere. For a local Chinese place it's pretty good. Would I drive out of my way for it? Probably not. read more

This restaurant is two miles from my house and I am glad it is there. Over the years I have had a couple menu items I didn't think were the best, but for the most part I like their cooking. House egg foo young and house fried rice are chockfull of tasty ingredients and cooked just right-never soggy; the seafood dishes are light and fresh-tasting; great sauce on the always-tender boneless ribs. Prices are reasonable and portions are large so you will have leftovers for lunch the next day. I tried a new Chinese restaurant that opened a mile south of them a few years ago because they delivered. Yuck! I went right back to New China. Guess I wasn't the only one for the new place closed down. The advantages of home delivery couldn't compensate for poor-quality food. I'm hoping New China will add delivery, though! read more

My husband had gotten food poisoning there about a year ago and swore he'd never go back. He talked himself into giving It one more try a few months back with success. Last night was another story!! I decided on Chinese food on my way home for a last minute dinner decision and everything seemed fine until about midnight. It took only a few hours for my body to rid itself of the bad food but it was the longest few hours of my life. The pain in my stomach was like nothing I had ever felt before.
