I'm not sure I want my wontons to look like this...
    Joe T.

Bland, cheap food with a seemingly indifferent staff. I ordered the lunch shrimp with lobster cause and wonton soup. The wontons in the soup looked very overcooked and tasted that way; the broth was basically okay. There were no pork strips or anything else to give it flavor other than some scallions. The shrimp with lobster sauce had four shrimp and what appeared to be slices of imitation crab meat. It wasn't very tasty. Overall, the impression is that they are cutting costs as much as possible, and are suffering for it. I won't be back.

Not the best...but not the worst either. It's cheap and fast.

My wife and I have been down here for a year now, we've tried many Chinese takeaways, we like this one the best, for all the right reasons.

Conveniently located in Lutz for quick week night dinner or takeout. There are a good number of…read moretables to eat there if you wish. Food is good, portions are generous and the price is reasonable. Love to get Chinese food because we always have leftovers, which is great when you have a family! Staff is nice and responsive. Service is quick! The place is clean but doesn't have much ambiance as it is more of a takeout place. I Recommend this restaurant.

After searching online for the best Crab Rangoon near me, House of China kept coming up repeatedly,…read moreso we decided to give it a try. Before visiting, I also checked their most recent Florida health inspection from May 14, 2026, which showed zero violations. That immediately gave me more confidence because cleanliness and food handling matter a lot to me. The restaurant is located in an older strip mall and honestly looks almost closed from the outside because the windows are dark and you cannot really see into the restaurant. Once inside though, the experience was much better than expected. The dining room was spacious, very clean, and much more comfortable than many smaller Chinese takeout spots. Staff were also friendly and our food came out fairly quickly. We ordered: - Orange Chicken with White Rice - General Tso's Chicken with White Rice - General Tso's Chicken with Pork Fried Rice - 8 Crab Rangoon - Pork Egg Roll The General Tso's Chicken was the standout item for us. The chicken had a good texture, the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming, and the pork fried rice had a lot more flavor than most places nearby. The Orange Chicken was also very solid and tasted fresh. The main reason we came was for the Crab Rangoon. I appreciated that they actually included real crab in the filling because many restaurants skip that completely and just use cream cheese. Ours were slightly overfried for my preference, but still enjoyable overall and definitely good enough that I would order them again. The pork egg roll was probably the weakest item. The flavor was okay, but the inside could have been cooked a little more thoroughly. Overall, this feels like a dependable neighborhood Chinese restaurant with clean operations, friendly service, and solid food. It may not be flashy or trendy, but I would absolutely return, especially for the chicken dishes and Crab Rangoon.
