Look at those huge portions! I couldn’t even eat half.
    Jerry R.

I ordered delivery and it came through Grub Hub, super fast even during the dinner hour. The portions were enormous and, although the food wasn't the most authentic I've had, it was delicious and the vegetables fresh. Unlike many Chinese restaurants, the food wasn't too oily or salty. Everything was very well packaged and the service cheerful.

It's been hard finding take out in quarantine, luckily this restaurant opens at noon. The Thai Curry Coconut Chicken is my go to, it has amazing flavor, not too spicy with coconut flare. Very fresh, seems healthier than the fried and sauced variety. So good. I tried the dumplings today for the first time and they are top notch. Great take out containers, v classy. I really enjoyed this meal. Grubhub delivery was quick.

Found this in my fried rice

I ordered 2 lunch specials egg foo young and sweet and sour chicken. The lunch specials do not come with egg rolls and plum sauce is also an additional charge. I found a mysterious piece of something not sure if it was a bug or shell of some sort but I won't be returning

Pretty tasty and well priced! I got steamed dumplings, shrimp fried rice and Kung pao chicken which came with steamed rice for 18 bucks! Very Americanized but some of the better Chinese food I've had in MoTown so far. I would definitely try some other dishes if I'm in the neighborhood. I dunno if if drive the 25 min though just for the food. Kind of a shady neck of the woods, homeless folks hangin out on the stoop, and a really seedy looking interior with no place to sit or eat if you want to do so. But then again, I dunno why you'd want to, get the food to take out and enjoy!

Got steamed dumplings & a roll. It was so good! Pickup was quick and easy when you order through GrubHub. It tasted AMAZING! Definitely will order again.

It's so rich. It's so comforting. It's so bad for you. It's so, so good. This is classic Chinese takeout. I usually get it delivered via DoorDash.

We've sat at the bar a few times, but honestly, it's a great experience either way. As a vegan, I really appreciate the variety of options. The fried tofu has an excellent texture and is served with perfectly fluffy rice. I usually go for the vegetable spring rolls-crispy and paired with a fantastic dipping sauce-and the sweet and sour tofu, which is always a standout. My husband typically orders the sesame chicken and is always pleased. Service is consistently quick and enjoyable. While prices are a bit on the higher side (around $20+ per entrée), the quality, flavor, and convenience, especially before a game, make it well worth it. If you're up for a short walk and want a delicious pregame meal, this is a great spot to check out!

I got the Chinese spare ribs which were tender and had a nice taste, but were on the dry side for me. There wasn't enough sauce. The French fries were good with the special dipping sauce it came with. The service was nice. I do think it's a bit overpriced for the portions you get, especially for the dumplings. Overall a good vibes place to go for date nights or with a group of friends though.

In Michigan we do have some dumpling places but this place in Windsor just takes the cake when it comes to excellent Ramen & Soup Dumplings. When I got here the wait wasn't long at all, we were seated within 3 minutes. The menu has ALOT of options to choose from and if you like spice like I do you have to try the Steamed Spicy Beef Soup Dumplings, they are VERY delicious and they do have a little kick to them and the orange color gives it a cool look to them. I also ordered the Shanghai Bistro Beef Noodle Soup which was also a little spicy but that Ramen was sooooo good, the beef was cooked perfectly and the Boo Choy was a little crunchy which was very good. The vibe here is very cool, people from all over come here, the staff is very kind and courteous and it's not loud either. This place is a must try if you LOVE soup dumplings and Ramen.

Now, that might still start a war if you have to share, but they are all for me. And despite how much I love them, even I can't eat that many at once. Which means enough leftover for the next day. They also have Coke products. I wish they had Dr. Pepper but at least it's not a Pepsi-house. I also like their packaging, they use the old school take-out cartons for the fried rice, a recyclable box for other things, and the rangoons come in a wax bag. So I don't have to feel like a jerk having to throw away a ton of styrofoam containers. I really like their pork fried rice. The chicken low mein is good, lots of nice pieces of chicken but almost no veggies and sometimes the noodles are a little overcooked. But it's all very consistent and reliable which is important. Easy offering and delivery via GrubHub, UberEats, etc.

This place is absolutely my vibe. The staff are fantastic, friendly, and very skilled at their jobs. Beverages were refilled, we were checked in with, and felt taken care of. Hubby and I laughed at how many times we zipped past the restaurant without noticing it. My husband and I both ordered the Major Tom Khatsu, which has a coconut chicken broth base. The chicken katsu pieces were the perfect level of crispy without being heavily breaded. There was also a nice little kick to the dish, which made it so, so yummy. Our friends got the Shoyu ramen with pork belly, and the Corned Beef ramen. The Shoyu dish seemed to be more enjoyable. Though we stuck with water, cans of Faygo pop seemed to be the drink offerings - other than alcoholic beverages. Areas for improvement include the waiting. Johnny Noodle King is a small place, with a main dining area and then what seems to be a bar area attached. We initially waited by the door for our table along with another small group (we were a party of four). We were then asked to go to the bar area to wait so that it would clear the door, but found it interesting how we were asked to move but not the other group. Also, we were standing away from the doormat we were not obstructing anyone's movements. The wait was long, and we asked if we could order food to the bar area (as opposed to waiting for a table). We were told 'no', yet there was a table full of patrons who were eating. There was no notification system, so our friend had to keep going to the front to see if our table was ready. Don't get me wrong; 'hooray' to Johnny Noodle King for having such great business volume. However, they need a way to manage it so that people will not be put off. Once we were seated, we did have good service from our waitstaff, and the food was very good. My husband and I plan to return to explore more of the menu. Hopefully, we can pick a time of day when waiting won't be such a big issue.
