    Chicken wing fried rice
    Alexander T.

Got the chicken wing fried rice . This is a 4.5 star review but I'll round up. This combination is about $12 which is a pretty good deal for. 4 whole wings and fried rice . This is a common combination in NY and NJ. The wings are season pretty well and fried to order. Definitely ask for duck sauce for the wings and on top of rice . The fried rice could use more seasoning. This is cash only and there are 3 tables to dine in. Would come back.

This last minute craving for Chinese made me give Peking another go-around. This time I ordered 1/2 sweet and sour chicken 1/2 sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I also got an order of spring rolls (2). At least this time, the food was fresh and delicious like I remember it (before it went south), but the portions have definitely gotten much smaller. The order of spring rolls (2), are 1/2 the size of any normal spring roll I've ever had. Like I had said before, If it's last minute and I'm definitely craving Chinese, I might order it again which I did. I didn't expect four star food, but I hoped it would be a little better. It's not bad, and I wouldn't tell you NOT to go, but it's kinda like the casino for me. Take a chance and hope for the best. Your odds are 60/30. When it's good it's really good and when it's bad it's really bad!

This is hands down the best Chinese on the eastside. The location and building is pretty sketchy, but their dishes are delicious, abundant, and beautifully presented. The kitchen is clean. Try it and I promise you won't go anywhere else.

The problem is the food varies day to day depending on who's the cook. Never have a problem with people at the counter. It's mainly takeout

Inside feels very nostalgic with decorations, especially being inside of a mall. It's one of my favorite Sunday morning go-tos after a night out. I usually order the har gow, siu mai, spare ribs, and the Chinese donut wrapped in rice noodle (so delicious). And of course, their BBQ buns and pastries are a must. Overall, a great option for dim sum in the area! 4/5

I got home and opened the food and it was filled with vegetables I was allergic to. I called and spoke with the person I ordered from they confirmed that it should've been made with only bok choy and was told to come back and get the correct food. I asked on this phone call if I would need to bring the food that was made incorrectly back they assured me I didn't. Then less than 10 minutes later called me back and said that the kitchen didn't think they made a mistake and to bring back the food to prove they were wrong. I came back with the receipt and incorrectly made item and inquired as to why they switched up in less than 10 minutes no response was given. Then a woman who I believe to be an owner opened up the food and started sifting through it with a spoon telling me what the vegetables were. Once I again reminded them that, that still isn't what I ordered she finally remade the food and made me wait again as they didn't have the correctly made meal ready as they promised me on both phone calls. This incident also violates Rule 3-306.14 of the Michigan Food Safety Code as well. I have been a loyal customer of Shang-ri La's Midtown and West Bloomfield location even during COVID and to be treated this way was pretty devastating.

Good news, we ended up here and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience here. The staff was so kind and helpful. This place also had a surprising amount of people coming in for lunch on a random Tuesday, but that is good for this place. We started with the Cantonese shrimp noodles. They are so delicious and nostalgic of places I would go to in Toronto in my childhood. The portion was so huge I now have noodles for days, which we are super happy about. We had the BBQ buns and pineapple buns, both really sweet, sticky and delicious. We had the rice noodles with shrimp and either beef or pork (not sure which one I actually ordered), I crave those, especially the shrimp ones. We tried the fried, crispy shrimp bean curd rolls with plum sauce and a favorite of mine, sticky rice. As always, we had tons of leftovers and look forward to having our meal for lunches and dinners this week. Plus, now that I know they have a great selection and have better hours than some of the other places, we will be back. My child wants to try the sesame chicken and some other dishes on their general menu.

Kung Fu Noodle House did not disappoint. everything was rich in flavor, nice and hot and COVERED the table. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and nothing was spicy. The tea was also really good. When the cart came around, though... I had no idea what to do or what half the dishes were! Service: The staff was nice and. That said, since we were clearly first timers, I would've loved a little guidance. Even just a quick "these are popular" or "this one's pork, this one's shrimp" would have gone a long way. Ambiance: It's a corner plaza spot and nothing about the space really stood out. It was a Saturday night and there were only two other families dining in, so it felt very quiet. Not a bad thing if you want low-key, just don't go in expecting a buzzy or lively atmosphere. I'd come back for the food, but mostly knowing what to expect next time helps.
