    Nasty rice

So rice was a big negative house rice was a house special . I'm sorry but chopping everything up into minced did not work where's the beef where's the chicken where's the pork where is the shrimp. A very fleecing of america. Was all rice and frozen peas and carrots don't eat here unless you want to get burned for your money about a $1.50 worth of food on plate do the math gross

I have been enjoying semi-asian food from New China for decades. This time, though, I could not even force myself to finish my meal. If we had not taken it as a take-out, I would have sent it back. The rice being used is short grain, and tastes like minute rice in its lack of flavor. The order was for pork fried rice. But what we got was rice with diced (possibly canned or previously frozen) carrots and peas. No celery. No onion. No pork. No cabbage. Just bare-bone rice and tiny veggies. Very disappointed. No spice or added flavor at all (that I can sense). The orange chicken is not fresh. The outside was soggy and limp. The sauce was, again, strangely devoid of much flavor. The sauce was gummy. Now I realize, anyone can have a bad day, but I ordered out because _I_ was also having a bad day, and wanted a treat. I suppose I might not be as critical if the prices had not shot up so much.

Mainly posting this to share pics of most recent menu. Had lunch here recently. Service was fast with good size portions on lunch specials. Food was on the disappointing side. Rice and chow mein did not have a lot of flavor.

This is the kitchen staff cleaning produce on the GROUND in the dirt outside the restaurant

These people were not friendly and added hidden charges to my order without telling me. AND when I showed up I pulled up in the parking Lot and in the gravel field on the ground in the dirt the kitchen staff was cleaning produce simply hosing it off literally on the ground in the gravel lot. BAD NEWS BEARS

Food was average. Nothing special but some certain dishes but overall typical Chinese restaurant meals with hardly any flavoring. The rice had the most salt of all dishes and almost unbearable to eat. Thai tea Boba was good. Service was okay but took too long to get our order but the funny thing is the restaurant only had 3 people at the time of my first visit. I was recommend it to this place when I go visit family in Coalinga from time to time but I felt like this restaurant was over-hyped and overrated. I rate this restaurant by service, cleanliness and food, so it received at 3.5 star because is not the worst or the best.

The smell was so good that I drove around the strip mall parking lot trying to track down the source. That search led us to China Gourmet, a very unassuming restaurant tucked away in the shopping center. Once inside, you're transported into a charming mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant. The décor is simple, comfortable, and fitting for the space, creating a welcoming atmosphere. After looking through the menu, we decided on the Chef's Special Dinner. For our entrées, we chose the Chow Fun Noodles with Beef, Sizzling Black Pepper Beef, and Chicken Fried Rice. Appetizers included Egg Rolls, Deep-Fried Shrimp, and BBQ Ribs. The meal also came with a bowl of War Wonton Soup. Everything was freshly prepared and made to order. The ingredients tasted fresh, the flavors were well balanced, and every dish was cooked properly. The standout item for us was the Chow Fun Noodles with Beef. The tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles made it the highlight of the meal. Everything paired nicely with a chilled glass of Hexamer Riesling. To top it all off, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, and all of our dishes arrived in a timely manner. We'll definitely be back for another visit.

Well, for a Chinese restaurant tucked deep in a white neighborhood, Dynasty Chinese Cuisine breaks this law. Food: 5/5 From our first bite, we could tell everything was made in-house. The crispy potsticker wrapper did not taste like it came frozen from a Bibigo bag, and the egg roll filling tasted fresh. The Black Pepper Beef Skillet came out still sizzling and smoking, and the meat was tender and moist. We also ordered the BBQ Pork Chow Fun, and the noodles had a balanced smoky flavor. The meat was also tender. From our photos, you could see a hefty portion of meat in each dish. This is one of the best Chinese food I've ever had, and for the price point, this place deserves the elusive 5 out of 5. Service: 4.5/5 There appears to be one server manning the floor the majority of the time, but the owner came out to check in on patrons. Both were super friendly and attentive, chatting with us about recommendations and welcoming us to the area. The service was fast. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 This restaurant is a proper casual Chinese restaurant, and the atmosphere reflects that. We did not expect it to be as lively as it was when we came in for lunch at 1:30pm on a weekday. The noise levels and music were not offensive. And the place is incredible clean! The dining floor and bathroom looked well-maintained and clear of any debris. I would recommend this restaurant for a dinner date for one, a family meal, or takeout. Final rating: 4.5/5 (rounding up to 5 on Yelp)

Prices on menu are not up to date as of 6/14/26. I ordered 2 orders of fried shrimp ($7.95 each),…read morepaper wrapped chicken ($7.25) and house pan fried noodle ($11.25). I went in expecting to pay $34.40 (without tax). So I was taken aback when she said my total was $56.95. I noticed a sign on the wall that said due to increase of costs, ALL items will have $3.50 added. Okay that's a lot but everything is going up so I get it. But then when I asked for a menu to take home she wrote $3.75 on the front and said that's how much is added to each item so for me to not wonder why my total was different. Still seemed higher than it should be so I did the math and my total at $3.75 added to each item should have been $49.40 and then I added the 8.25% tax rate so new total $53.48. So I was charged an extra $3.47 on top of the additional $3.75 per item. I know it seems petty to complain but that's shady. Additionally, the food was the most greasiest Chinese food I have ever had in my life. The lady working the front was so sweet though so I gave 2 stars.
