The pricing was actually less than I thought so we worked in new vinyl porch rails as well. And they are beautiful. Just warm water will keep them clean, which is great. All of my eaves were closed in with white vented soffit material. The siding install manager was very attentive to all my questions. The job looks wonderful and I love the fact I am done worrying about painting it. Once again Click Construction performed well. And I recommend them highly and will have them do more work for me.

It took me so long to write this review because I don't like saying bad things about companies but after today December 8, 2018 when I found my BRAND NEW Redskins Hoodie turned inside out with PAINT and PLASTER all over it and stashed behind some storage boxes in an upstairs spare bedroom that was the last straw!!!!!! They took the time to turn it inside out and hide it. I did not have work done in any bedrooms so there was no reason for them to even open the door. I had all 3 bedroom doors closed. I'm sure this was done when I left my elderly family member here for 1 day because I had to go back to work. They actually took the hoodie off the hanger and rubbed it in paint on purpose. I only found it because I was pulling out Christmas decorations. These people are evil and I guess they are not Redskins fans. If I could leave my phone number in this review I would just so I can tell you the horrors I went thru. They drank 2 cases of my water without my permission and then put the half empty bottles in my freezer. I had to trash everything in the fridge. They left water rings from the bottles on my furniture. They wrote the words F**k You on my laminate flooring boxes. I reported this to the owner Sergio and he was supposed to come and talk to me but he sent his son to talk to me which was a waste of time. In October I was moving stuff around and saw some strange symbols carved in my brand new $1500 Bose Soundbar box. This box was behind my sofa unopened for 6 years and no one ever touched it but me so who carved this crap? It was not there went I bought it from Circuit City. When my house flooded I didn't want any electronics put in storage so this box was in the room where they were working. I was looking around my house for 2 months for my brand new hoodie and today I find it covered in paint. I left Sergio a message and sent him pictures of my hoodie. I'm sure I will get no response. My concern now is how many other things will I find in my house that was destroyed by these people. I am so mad right now I want to get the police involved. I was very nice to these guys ....I bought them lunch one day and I gave them water everyday not knowing that they were stealing water I had in my storage room. Sergio kept telling me it was ok to leave them in my house alone I said no I don't leave anyone in my house alone. I ended up using most of my vacation time. Oh...did I mention the spit I found on my floor after they left. DO NOT LEAVE THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOUSE ALONE. I have cameras but with the construction going on I turned them off. BIG MISTAKE on my part. I would have had the person on camera. My project was supposed to take 3 maybe 4 days but it ended up taking 8 or 9 days just to paint and add flooring to the first floor of a very small townhouse. Then they had to come back on a Saturday to fix things that they did wrong or sloppy. I have baseboards that are not straight. I have quarter round that is not attached (I went to sweep and the section just came off). They had to come back and re paint my whole kitchen. You could still see the old white walls thru the new gray paint (they did a rush job on the kitchen). If you decide to use this people wait at least 2 weeks after the work is completed because you will find tons of stuff that is not done properly. They installed a powder room light fixture and I touched and it fell sideways. I pulled the bathroom sink stopper pole up and it came all the way out in my hand. I have paint spots on my new paver patio in the backyard (still cant figure out why they were in my backyard with paint) I paid them to paint my front door but they did not do it. I had to call and finally they came back and painted it. Sergio refused to fix my baseboards . He said my floors are not level..LOL. I might be a woman but I'm not stupid. I sent Sergio a text message and I told him he needed to send his workers back to fix this stuff and call me to discuss. He replied "I have nothing to discuss the work is over". But had the nerve to ask me for the money for installing a bathroom light that almost fell off the wall when I touched it. The transition piece of wood between the hall and laundry room was not even glued down. It was sticking up. They painted my laundry room and storage room bi-fold doors and didn't let them dry but placed them up against each other so all 3 doors stuck together and were damaged when they pulled them apart. I could go on and on....but I wont. I will be reporting this company to every agency I can find.

Their customer representative, Cathy was very knowledgeable about their vinyl windows called Sunscape. After seeing the windows in their showroom, I was sold. Cathy and I used an app to monitor the job and I made our initial deposit. Along the way I asked for her phone number, but never needed it because she was so responsive using the app to communicate with me. The demo and prep team answered all my questions and suggested replacing some wood pieces with PVC. Considering the investment in the vinyl windows, I'm so glad I replaced the wood trim with PVC. The installation team was courteous and again helpful in addressing my questions. The whole installation took less than 3 hours. Design Builders is a 5-star company. I highly recommend them.

Instead our project was completed ahead of schedule, just under budget, and the quality of the work was excellent. And that includes an expanded project scope that came up when we discovered large issues with a neighboring property. Fairmont was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. They were always willing to listen to our ideas and make changes as needed. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns. Fairmont's foreman or a partner subcontractor was on-site on average more than five days a week for the entire many-month project. This allowed them to keep a close eye on the work and make sure that everything was done to the highest standards, and if not the first time, they made sure it was redone. Unlike several neighboring projects, we had no stop work orders, no neighbor complaints (complements actually), and all our inspections were successful. I would highly recommend Fairmont to anyone looking for a home builder or doing a major urban renovation. They are professional, reliable, and they do great work.

However, I am an old house lover (now a three-time renovator) and keeping or reinventing old house detail was important. Carlos manages construction, the tradesmen, the sub-contractors, and the overall quality of the workmanship on the job. He is an experienced builder, taking pride in bringing ideas to life but careful to offer full disclosure on the pros, cons and risks of each option. Jose manages the business side of the project - budgeting and billing, tracking and documenting changes, purchase of materials, recommending vendors for kitchen design, tiles, stone, flooring etc. Most important was his management of communications between Fairmont and me, the homeowner. Jose took time to ask questions and listen carefully to answers. I know and appreciate how rare it is to have good communication. I also have lived the consequences of mediocre communication. Mistakes are costly. Jose follows a protocol of asking, clarifying, and following up with an email restating our discussion and inviting me to comment, add, or correct. The answers don't matter as much as the asking and listening. This worked so well there were no horror stories. To summarize: Strong management of the permitting process, of sub-contractors, deliveries, security of the property and use of appropriate safety measures. I think its important to say also that the project was managed ethically, honestly and respectfully. Everyone on the job was pleasant and upbeat. Weekly walk-thru meetings insuring the work was proceeding according to agreement. Efficient cascade of information, decisions and/or changes, from homeowner and Fairmont to the tradesmen and subcontractors. A solid team of workers - excellent workmanship, site management and daily clean-up. Also, no profanity or loudness, no littering, no complaints from neighbors, and very happily, no accidents. Lastly, Fairmont checks in with you periodically during the year following move-in. Together we created a list of little adjustments and changes that you can't anticipate until you move in. All done! The house is lovely - beautiful carpentry, millwork and all the details that make it livable for me. The flooring install looks great and very well done…read more Erick paid attention to detail, matching the landings to the reclaimed flooring in other rooms to pull the look together, even though this was not something we'd thought of before. :) His team was also patient in accommodating a slightly later than anticipated start each day, as I had to travel to the home to let them in. There were a few hiccups with stain color, namely how it looked in natural light and with the lights on (partly due to the fact that I am new to wood staining and partly due to the red wall adjacent to the sampling we did -- please do your research if you are new to this). There were also smudges on the wall post floor staining, all but one of which Erick was able to fix up (after I noticed and pointed them out which, unfortunately, was after the project was deemed complete). Erick provided a discount for the inconvenience/the one leftover smudge, which I appreciated. Erick took responsibility for his and his team's work and was responsive to our needs and any issues. The floors look great at a reasonable price and I was able to support a small business, which I value (and hope you will too). His primary crew, who worked in my home, were respectful, skilled and kind. I am glad to recommend them to others. Edit: A couple days after the work was done, I noticed some left over materials from the project like wipe cloths, empty plastic bottles, etc. in the home (not a huge amount so not the biggest deal, but things do add up). While the actual flooring work is excellent, clean up/close up is not always 100% it seems, so that's the area I would recommend the company improve. :)

I got a quote from FGS for a new composite deck last year. Unfortunately, we had some other…read moreprojects that were more pressing and expensive, so we had to put off the deck. I had FGS requote this year. FGS was slightly more expensive than the other quotes we got, but came recommended by my roofer and had good reviews. They also seemed to understand what I wanted better than the other companies I got quotes from, so I went with them on the deck job. They were able to start the project when I wanted them to and were done in a couple weeks. I also had them repair the woodwork on my house around the deck and repair an outlet that wasn't working (for an extra cost). After completion, the deck and other work look great and everything functions as new. I am very pleased and finally started using my deck for some outdoor griddling this past weekend. FSG did a great job and I would be very happy to use them again for other projects!
