Laughed at me when my dental health was in decline due to PTSD. Scoffed at the quality of my previous dental work, including fillings and braces. Assumed I was a teenager when my chart clearly said I was 25. Lectured me on dental hygiene as if I was a child. Sometimes when a person's health declines, something else is going on. The hygienists and admins were condescending and unempathetic. Their business practices are immoral! I know people who got work done here and later found out from other dentists the work was either done incorrectly (probably to ensure repeat visits) or was completely unnecessary. Very shady shady dental practice. I really wanted to like them but they've been dishonest and untrustworthy. I went to have my wisdom tooth removed about a year ago and they performed a bone grafting without informing me or explaining what this service was. They charged over $1000 for this and tried to play it off as a "necessary" service. I settled this by agreeing to a 50/50 split. I continued to go to them for a while but got another bill for a "balance outstanding". They tried to charge me again for the graft and reported me for unpaid bills. I emailed and tried to contact them with no response. Steer clear from places like this who would do anything to earn a quick buck from customers who aren't careful. read more

I absolutely had the BEST experience a new day dental today. I found myself in a dental emergency with a chipped tooth last night. I called New Day Dental in the morning and was able to get in for an appointment by 12 o'clock the same day. The staff went over the top to make me feel invited, comforted, and calm because I haven't had the best dental experiences in the past. I can be a nervous wreck when it comes to the dental chair as well as the drill. Dr. Aaron Sanchez did an excellent job with filling my chipped tooth. I felt that he explained everything to me thoroughly before the procedure and was very gentle when it came to the shot as well as the filling. He would talk to me during the procedure to take my mind off of things which I thought was incredibly courteous. I found out upon leaving that since I was referred by a friend that we both received $100 Dental credits. My friend has been trying to get me to go to New Day Dental for about four months because she swore up-and-down that she had the best dental experience there as well. Since I was referred, I ended up getting $100 credit and she had $100 added to her account. Walking out the door I thought to myself, I think I may have just had the best dental experience that cost me nothing since the referral credit covered the cost. The first time I found out about the Dental credit was after leaving. I would give them the same positive review as well as 5 stars even if they didn't offer it. Give them a call. If your interested in a dentist that doesn't change all the time don't go here. On top of the revolving dentists, in my opinion they are using shady tactics. For example, I got a nightguard, then shortly after needed a crown. They said they would replace the nightguard after the procedure. After inquiring on the notes about the free replacement, they claim there are no notes in the file. Find a dentist that will stay with you longer than a year or two. read more

I want to retract my review of this place. Although I still stand by Lucy being a great hygienist, I can't say the same for the doctors at this office. My impression of this office is that all they care about is making money not truly caring for their patients. First of all, I tried scheduling a cleanup after a $100credit was given to me after referring my mom to this office. It would have been my second visit to this office, but after applying my credit I was told I had to still pay for an exam fee of$78! The exam is the doctor coming in to check what the hygienist did. Shouldn't that already be included and implied in my visit? Isn't a dentists job to make sure the cleaning was done right without charging an extra fee for that? Also, my first visit didn't charge an exam fee it was included with my clean up!! Then I said I didn't want the exam but they said it was mandatory and didn't have an option. Second incident that didn't make me trust this office was when my mom came in for her first cleaning at this office, the owner came in to check on her and apparently pointed out she needed a crown replacement and offered to do it right then and there?! Some people may take this as a good sign, but the guy barely even checked my moms mouth and showed no interest in checking her mouth but wanted to quickly charge for a whole crown replacement right after her clean up?! He didn't even take the time to carefully check her crown, just a quick scan and ready to charge $500 for the replacement. No thanks! Never referring anyone to this place not will I be back. I think there is lots of fake 5 stars for this dentistry, I used their service back on Feb,2016, -because someone referred me to them, they lie to me.....saying that they accept my insurance....I told them please don't Work on anything until you ask me how much I will be paying, I also requested that "I want to specifically see Dr. Ayman", because I know he is an honest/professional person, when I visited their office, I mentioned that again she said ok. I walked across the street and met a really a great staff, welcomed into a comfortable waiting room, offered beverages and I was in the chair in no time. Really cool staff all around. You should be very careful if you want to visit there. I chose New Day Dental based on Google review because there are several positive reviews on this clinic. They seems nice during my first visit. However, my treatment plan was too much than I expected from the exam. So, I wanted to cross-check whether their diagnostic is right or not because the diagnostic is kind of subjective matter. However, I had a trouble because they are not friendly and ignore my requests several times. Here below is my experience to the clinic. 1. Practice manager in New Day Dental was trying to force me to schedule all the treatment plan and she is not doctor but she showed me my x-ray and picture and was trying to explain why it is needed. I've never seen practice manager explain my x-ray data & teeth picture, and  force me to treat that. That is why I wanted to cross check it. 2. They seems nice but if you have any problem, They are not cooperative and not friendly. I need my diagnostic data like x-ray for the cross-check. So, I contacted them by email and phone several times, but they ignore it and not responding. So, I had to get x-ray again for the cross check. 3. After cross-check, it seems I dont need much treatment, only few of them needed. 4. Dont be fooled by kindness. and please cross-check for you. It is your choice whether to go there or not. Went here for years under Wisheart, he was amazing, the new Dentists are horrible. Dr.Evangelista rushed and pressured me into a crown within minutes of my first meeting, then he conveniently lost the pre-crown photo of the tooth and couldn't show me the damage. Instead another patients tooth that already had a golden crown and needed a new one was under my photos. Very weird. My crown had to be ordered twice as it didn't fit, the second time it didn't fit either but Dr.Evangelista just ground it down there and put it on. It's been over a year, it has never fit right and is a constant irritation. Dr.Evangelista was also constantly talking down to insulting and belittling his dental assistants, women who I had known and had work on my teeth for a years. I will never be back. I came here for a routine teeth cleaning. I have MetLife insurance. This place is predatory!!! Within 3 hours, I got three quotes for root canal. - 7/2/2018 at 10 am: $1,020.30 for copay to get me to do the procedure - 7/2/2018 at 1 pm: $2,022.20 for copay right before my procedure, claiming computer glitch--They Doubled the Price! - 7/2/2018 at 2 pm: $1,672.20 for copay after reasoning with them See the attached photos of the three quotes for proof. After I told them I won't do this, the office manager forcefully pulled the quotes from my hand, unsuccessfully, saying that I did not sign the two last quotes so I can't take them with me. This appears to be her attempt of destroying any incriminating evidence. I looked up online on a reasonable cost of a root canal procedure and it is around $1000 for this type. If i could give minus 5 starts, i would. Folks, it is with tears and a pain that i write this long-overdue recommendation to YOU - do not trust this practice. Dr. Evangelista will butcher your mouth - and if you don't surrender yourself (and your dollars) to the additional treatment he causes, they will just stop contacting you - regardless of your level of pain and suffering. It's unconscionable and should be downright criminal. My experience with him and this office has been so traumatizing. I went in in December 2019 for what was to be straightforward procedure. I was seen by a great dentist in their practice at that time (Dr. McMaster), when without notice or explanation, i was reassigned to Dr. Evangelista. I drove an hour to my appointment, and was pressured into seeing Dr. E instead of Dr. McMaster (they gave conflicting atories as to why she wasn't there - that should have been a red flag). Dr. E was unprepared - he didnt know why i was there, what he was doing, nor my file or needs. After a very unprofessional "conversation" about why i wasn't getting an implant (shaming me for not being able to afford that procedure), he aggressively began "preparing" my theeth. He was pushing down on my mouth with too much pressure - this is not my first rodeo (and my pain threshold is pretty high) so i KNEW thia was off. I went into this place with ZERO pain or discomfort. Two crowns came off while i was on vacation, one having a root canal. I had no pain at all, I just needed crown replacements. With Dr. McMaster, there was no prognosis or diagnosis that speak to what i have been experiencing since Dr. E worked on my teeth. I have been in severe pain since, now requiring a root canal on each tooth that he worked on! I made it clear that this is his responsibility and i needed it corrected/ treated, after the first (of two) root canal performed, it seemed i was blacklisted. I called countess times to report ongoing pain. Understanding that this fell right as the shelter-in-place orders were rolled out, i tried to be as patient as one can be in my situation. I received nothing for months. I knew they were back in the office because i called from a different phone number than my own, at which point they picked up the phone. It was provided with Dr. E's number, which i called twice (and texted) to no avail. They were (and have been) grossly negligent - i don't understand how they can do this to someone and still sleep at night. I share my experience because i don't want anyone to go through this. If my experience can help you not suffer the same fate, then there's some value to it. We are in such a vulnerable position when we're on that chair with a drill on our teeth - trust in your dentist's ethics, skills, and knowledge is critical. When I first went to New Day Dental for my 6 year old, they seemed very warm and made him feel comfortable. I thought the extra attention was probably part of on-boarding a new patient. However, after my 4th visit I have to say they are the best, with kids. His hygienist shows him how to brush his teeth every time...walks him through the steps of cleaning and polishing. This place is hands down, THE BEST dental office I have ever been to! Dr Rasheed is amazing! She is so sweet, and knows what she's doing, and extremely experienced. She really takes her time to explain everything . She will give you her honest opinion and makes sure you understand everything before she starts to work on your teeth. The work so far has been amazing. I had a lot of dental treatment planned with other dentists but I did not feel confortable and only felt like they were after my money. Dr Rasheed however, cut to the chase and told me exactly what I did and didn't need. I was so surprised at how honest she was. I would like to start out by saying I have been going to this dentist for a very long time. The dentist was awesome and the person that cleaned my teeth I also loved. With that being said I will also say I will never be going back....EVER!!! Just to touch on a few and I do mean just a few because there were a lot of screw ups my last visit. They were so backed up so they had 8 people stacked in that little office. Way to many with the COVID issues. I finally got called on 2 hours and 12 mins after my appointment time. NOT COOL!!! I was there to get my implant put in which took 4 months to get, but with COVID I get it, things are moving slower, great no problem there it is what is it. I was in the chair a total of 5 min. He literally shoved the tooth in and said " at least you have a tooth" and then walked me out. No mirror to look at his work, no questions, like how does that feel...Nothing.
