Their selection of All In One desk computers is not great, but they have more than some. And the salespeople are trained and know what they are selling. They take their time with every customer. The place is spotless and their prices are usually the best in town. When you walk in you are greeted and it does not take long to get help. I would give them a 5 but their Geek Squad is not the best and I can't recommend them. I am sure they are great for simple things. They are nice, but trying to reach them on the phone is next to impossible. I will keep going to this Best Buy.

He gave us the next delivery date of 7/8/26. We wanted a date sooner but that was the best he could find. On 7/7, an email was received reminding us of the delivery the next day. On 7/8 no delivery occurred. Nobody called. We called to find out it had been cancelled. The delivery date was now 7/18!!!!! I visited the store where the purchase was made and found only one employee left to handle the register and customer service. The other employees were running around in service to the merchandise and the store. She let us know that the store employees have no way of talking to the delivery people. We asked for and received our items and took them home. I found Best Buy to be focused on their sales with no emphasis on the customer. This was evidenced by the lack of communication with the delivery workers. It was also evident in the fact that there was nobody to interface with except the young lady at the register. She was exemplary in managing the situation that a lack of staffing and systems on the part of Best Buy put her in. I looked on line after the fact and found that these were wider issues that had already been reported on line. I wish I had checked first, but I thought I could trust them with the basics. I spent a couple weeks gathering all the components I've been eyeing and made the pilgrimage down to Micro Center (in Tustin) to take advantage of a great MOBO/Proc/RAM bundle. The last time I built a PC was in 2008 and at this point in my life, I just wanted an expert to help me get everything running and optimized. Gar was that expert. This guy knows his stuff and I couldn't be happier with my (first) experience at Helix. He runs the shop by himself and is clearly a lifelong PC enthusiast. It was really cool to see all his customers more 'aesthetic' builds that were in progress. I'm old so I wanted something with as little RGB as possible (haha). He even has a mini museum of PC components from decades past on display which really sent me down a VERY nerdy memory lane. I dropped off my PC at 10 AM and he had it completely diagnosed and fixed by 3:30 PM - same day service when most shops would have kept it for days. But what really impressed me was how Garnik actually took the time to explain everything instead of just doing the work and handing it back. He didn't just slap on new thermal paste and call it done. He properly reapplied the paste, then noticed my fan configuration was all wrong and moved everything to the correct CPU pump headers and fan headers. He walked me through exactly what was causing the thermal problems and how he fixed them, then stress tested the whole system right in front of me so I could see it was running properly. Garnik was super knowledgeable, friendly, and got everything done way faster than I expected. It's honestly rare to find someone who knows their stuff this well and actually takes the time to make sure you understand what's going on with your build. After opening the PC and putting it in, I ended up actually busting my geforce video card and the screens wouldn't show anything anymore. I went to geek squad on besbuy at labrea and they wanted to charge me 200 dollars to take 3-5 days to diagnose the problem, because they weren't sure about what it was. I said no ty, went for some lunch and found Computer Works with the help of a store clerk on gamestop. Turns out these guys are a block from where I live, and for being such a small store, I hadn't even reminded that they were there. In the end, I got there, showed the guy my computer and told him my story. I really couldn't afford the 3-5 days of wait to diagnose because I have to finish some work within that time frame, and it's all inside my PC. In 10 min, he made all the tests, figured out it was the videocard's memory, and charged me only 25 bucks. I insisted in paying more but they didn't let me. They ordered me a new and better geforce 250 gts card for a total of 198 bucks (the price geek squad wanted me to pay for "diagnosis"). This is the kind of place where you want to go, where they really dont have a nice little brand with TV commercials, but it's a place where they will be nice and truth to you, and won't charge you a penny extra for that. I bought with them a computer duster, that was like 35 bucks in best buy, for $4,50 with them. And one more thing, because I'm not done yet. Right now I'm at home, writing this review, with my computer running on one of their video cards, that they let me have while my new video card is being shipped. If that's not caring about your customer, I don't know what is! No where else for me as far as computers go. I hope they stay in business for long, so that I will always know my PC is safe.

I came to the Apple Store at The Grove expecting someone to evaluate whether the lodged piece could be removed. Instead, Jose took the computer upstairs, returned a few minutes later, and told me the only solution was a $598 logic-board replacement because the headphone jack is attached to it. When I questioned whether there were any other options, I felt the conversation became dismissive rather than informative. I then asked to speak with a manager. Edgardo identified himself as the person over the Genius Bar, but the answer remained the same. After leaving the store, I called Apple Support hoping to speak with someone who could discuss the technical side of the issue. Instead, I was told there was no one available with that level of technical knowledge, and the only option presented was the same $598 repair. What disappointed me most wasn't the price. It was the feeling that preserving a computer I had just paid Apple to repair wasn't really part of the conversation. If Apple's policy is simply, "We don't perform this type of repair on older Macs," I would have respected that answer. Instead, I left feeling like my only practical option was to spend hundreds more on this computer or buy another one. I've been an Apple customer for years, and this experience didn't reflect the level of service I expected.

I called and was told it was cause they dropped it and accidentally broke it. While I was waiting, they had a really good deal on a Mac mini so I ordered that and coincidentally my credit card that already showed a pending charge was declined so they canceled that order and told me I could re-order it at the new price of 100% more.
