I came in to this Best Buy location and bought a 65" tv, I brought it home and after a few days I told myself I should've gone bigger. I called customer service to ask if I can return the smaller tv I bought for a bigger tv which they said yes and I informed them I no longer had the original box it came in to which they said it would not be an issue. Long story short I went to this same location bought the bigger tv I wanted and was told by Best Buy phone customer service/support that according to Best Buy policy I can return the smaller tv to any location, I attempted to return it to the Culver City location and was basically turned away for not having the original box and they seemed clueless and didn't even bother to try and listen to the information I was given by customer support, I was upset and went back to the West Hollywood location where I bought both tvs. I brought back the 65" and they accepted my return NO PROBLEM! Buyers beware. Do not rely on their service. In fact, it has been the worst experience I have ever had at any brand. Home Depot, Costco, literally anywhere would be better than Best Buy. I ordered a fridge/freezer over 10 days ago, and I ordered the "HAUL" service to remove the current fridge/freezer. They didn't have any availability for delivery for a few days. Fine. I book it for Friday, January 30th. They give me the time spot of 12-4. Dont show up till well after that time. Come into my apartment and pull my old fridge/freezer that is dead out of the alcove...into the middle of my whole kitchen. I assume they're going to haul it out but who knows because they don't speak a single word of English. They do some measurements and leave. I am waiting for them to come back for about a half hour when I finally call the man's cell who came to my apartment. He had called me to tell me he would be 5 minutes an hour late so I had his cell. Thank God, because evidently BestBuy (despite it being an electronics store) does not have a phone. You can not get a hold of any store or manager. So, I called and he hung up on me 3 times. After that I call the call center with more people I can barely understand. 3 hours of calls to Baghdad on my Friday night and they determined that the truck was too big to park anywhere near me, which was just a blatant lie. I live directly across from two parking lots on both sides. All of this wouldn't be disastrous if they hadn't move the appliances into the middle of my kitchen. I am in a wheelchair. I could not push the fridge in or get around to get to my meds. I had to call the police for them to come and push the appliances out of the way. The best consolation they can offer me is a smaller truck so they can park with different delivery men on Tuesday, February 3rd. 3 days later. They can also not give me a better time slot than 9 AM - 4PM. The entire day. I will know have two days I had to take off work. Best Buy has already taken the money from my Bank for their products and services so I am hoping for the best. I call them the day before and ask if they can come in the morning or before noon. They flat out say no. So I am waiting all day today and guess what they don't show up until 530PM. They call again and say they'll be there in 20 and then never show up. I call them back. They say there is no parking. I go downstairs and theyre parked in a parking lot. There is a meter and I offer to pay for it and they say don't want to get a ticket. I guess BestBuy Delivery men don't know how to read parking signs. I tell them Ill wait by the truck. They call BestBuy and say there is no parking. Again, blatantly lying. I call the police again because at this point it's like they have stolen goods on their truck and the officer comes and says he will watch the truck, but their feelings are hurt that I called the police and refused to help me. Very professional. The officer is going to take me to the store tomorrow to speak with the manager as they don't have phones there to correct any situation. I call the call center again and they say "they understand but the best they can do is deliver it this Friday, February 6th"...oh, and they can't give me a time. Ill have to take off work for a third day. 9-4 is the best they can do and we all know how this story ends. They'll be even later than that. Won't speak any English. Multiple excuses. Never use them for any delivery. There are tons here that will tell you about their cancellations and rules and paying for things they don't honor. A year ago we bought the LG, AI washer and dryer combo. We spent 3k on this appliance. I also have best buy member protection plan. The sales associate told us this was the best Washer and dryer combo on the market. Little did we know the dryer is slower and does not completely dry the clothes. Within the first couple of months we started having technicians come to the house. They said nothing is wrong with it we cant replace it. Nothing is wrong with it? It takes 7 hours to wash and dry a load of sheets, 7 HOURS!!! Attached is an image of sheets that I had in the dryer for 6 hours and when we got home from work they still were not dry. I had to use a space heater to dry my sheets. Yes the appliance is not the fault of Best Buy. But they were absolutely no help. After we went to the store they said sorry nothing we can do, contact the manager. So I emailed another manager, He also said "your warranty is up, nothing we can do." how do you lie to your customers about how great something is, have 6 technicians come to your home because its not properly working and still refuse to do anything about it? Do not buy a washing machine from Best Buy. I was sold a lemon washing machine. It broke on the second day I had it. The customer service at Best Buy was impossible to reach by phone. Therefore I had to go back to the store to report it. It took 4 days to receive the machine at home delivery. Then a third party delivered it without the new hose I bought. They trashed my service porch with dirt etc. I did not want to deal with this store anymore. Just wanted my money back. After they picked up the machine and got water all over my floor they wanted me to pay them $114.00 for picking up the broken machine. He too went out of his way to help extract my files from my old computer that lost power. I needed my files urgently and this guy helped me retrieve them by showing me the proper external drive to purchase. Again, I started with a pretty clear idea of what I wanted, and she offered a few tweaks that got us something far superior (for just a little more). Never felt pressured. Never felt upsold. We purchased that in different department, but that associate didn't even offer the carry-out. You can tell Best Buy days are numbered and they deserve to fail. I went in this morning to buy a $700 item. I was greeted by a guy at the door. I asked him where the item was located, despite very very few customers (none in the vicinity) in the store, all he could manage was to point me in the right direction - he was busy have a conversation with the security guard and did not want to take a break from that. I found the item, eventually, and had a couple of questions. There were two other employees having an animated personal chat with each other nearby. I asked my question and neither could be bothered to help. One of them sort of sauntered over and when I said that demo unit I was looking at was not working he shrugged and said "I am surprised any of them are working!" He then kinda waved at the shelves and said " if you want one, they are down there somewhere" and he went back to his personal conversation with the other employee. It felt like I was at some sort of high school detention, where all of these guys were being forced to work and they had absolutely no interest in helping a customer. I asked a third guy if the manager was available, hoping he might know who in the store could help me. I was told he as busy. So, I interacted with 5 employees (including the security guard) and not one of them could be bothered. I had hoped to take a look at the item and buy it today, but I could not bear the idea of handing this place any money. When I asked for the store phone number, so I could follow-up with the manager, they told me it is not possilble to call the store, and I had to call an 800 number call center. This place is a total joke. I cannot imagine trying to get anything done here. I mean, I could not even manage to buy one - can't even think about what retuning anything would be like. In the end, I ordered on Amazon and it will be with me tomorrow morning by 8am, Same item, same price, and if I have an issue, Amazon could not be easier to deal with - short trip to Whole Foods for a return, if necessary, and that will be complete. No finding parking, no making sure I have a validation and no interacting with what might be the least interested employees I have ever seen. Want to shop at a location where the Geek Squad and the Floor Managers drop the ball, then pass it on to you the customer in an attempt to get more money out of you? Well, shop here if so. These people are callous, inconsiderate and rude. The kings of bait and switch work here. If you are a Black woman and show up not presenting yourself in a way that conforms to americas or Hollywood standards, appearance wise, do not expect any discretion or common courtesy to extend to you. I was exhausted when I made myself drive back to this BB. Look at the open box TV I purchased! The photos are attached. The open box TV that they STAMPED BEING QUALITY CHECKED was defective. The Samsung 65 inch has two red stamps on each end of the screen that goes from the inside of the TV facing out. This is a clear manufacturers defect that their squad should've seen. Instead they repackaged and sold me this TV. They have ZERO consideration for the fact that I had to get this thing safety in my home without damaging, get it unboxed and set up for it to be mounted, just to have to come back days later to setup a return. Ideally, they would replace the same TV or maybe offer an better TV with a slight difference of pricing. I spoke to the manager when I arrived, short chubby guy, he was actually the second person I spoke to as I went to Customer Service first, which referred me to speak to the manager. The manager lied to me telling me that he'd take care of everything and got me in contact with who he says was the manager in the TV department. The TV manager heard me out and saw the damages and understood that I was not going to pay for another TV. Instead of telling me upfront that he would not offer any discount or credit to offset the price of the new identical TV, he wasted my time going through this process to swap the defective TV, and setting up the pick up for the defective TV as it won't fit into my coupe. The managers have 100% discretion. In vain, I was clam, kind and nice to everyone I spoke to with trying to resolve the issue that was obviously not my fault, and not an ounce of consideration for my time, energy, gas and overall disappointment was considered. The Korean worker that was there with the Hispanic or white TV dept manager seemed to revel at my frustration after being told last min, I had to pay just under 200.00 to make right of a situation I had no responsibility over. Annnd this is the Black experience. Zero consideration, Zero concern, Zero discretion given even when it's optional, and makes complete sense. These experiences shape our days, our emotions, are very triggering, and impact out lives. Imagine getting this treatment in most places. On my way out I looked again for that manager which I did not see anywhere, surprise?! I did run into the Marketplace Director Brian, explained my frustration and what happened. He offered to meet me half way. Guess what, the fact that I wasn't offered this in the FIRST PLACE IS THE PROBLEM. With Brian understanding that I was mishandled, it should've been recognized that they needed to make this right, and they should've just given me the new TV and ate the total of the additional cost. The offer of meeting me halfway was too late based on my experience. Special shoutout to Mason (hope I spell his name right) at the geek thing, he is very helpful and friendly, charge me no cost and keep me updated on everything. I can't install a program called zotero for my paper, it really frustrated me for couple days and I need it urgently. Mason helped me get out of S mode for my computer with no cost!!! Best Buy - Downloaded zotero! - Electronics Near Me - West Hollywood, California

We spent 3 HOURS picking out two appliances at Best Buy with Edgar helping us to get the features we wanted. We paid for the installation, plus "parts that are needed and not included i.e. cords, etc", haul away fees for the old appliances, etc etc. The first delivery "team" shows up and spends around 15 minutes looking at our washer and dryer. We were only getting a new dryer, the washer works fine. They seemed like they were trying to find a reason not to intall it (probably because it's in a closet rather then a big open space). They said "We have to call our boss" and left. They LEFT! With the dryer! We called Best Buy and got someone on the phone who is supposed to be a manager of some kind. He kept talking over me, stating that they units were "incompatible"! NO, they are NOT. They are BOTH LG, the same models! Then we were told "They do not have an order to move the washer so they can't do it". WHAT? With a stackable washer and dryer, the washer ALWAYS has to be moved somewhat in order to install the dryer on top! Then the "manager" told us: "We can only install if you purchase a new washer and dryer set." WHAT??? Then why did Best Buy sell us a dryer, knowing that our current LG washer WORKS and we aren't replacing it???? On top of all of this madness and wasted time and frustration, we were also supposed to get our new Bosch dishwasher delivered today. It was scheduled to be delivered between 11am and 2pm. NO ONE SHOWED UP. Then we got a call saying they would be here between 4:30 and 5:30 at the latest. Well, that's nice...suppose we weren't home since the delivery had been confirmed for BEFORE 2PM! We changed plans and waited again. NO CALL AND NO SHOW!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!! So now, we have to waste more time going into Best Buy to get refunded for these appliances, parts, delivery, cords, etc etc and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, spend more time, and get appliances at a store that is hopefully reliable and INSANE. This fiasco was totally unacceptable. We had purchased appliances before at Best Buy and it had been fine. NEVER AGAIN after being 100% mistreated by a bunch of jokers who cannot be bothered to deliver and install appliances. SHAME ON YOU, BEST BUY! read more
