And than following laser treatments. They know what they are doing, you have to communicate with them your concerns, and they will guide you the proper treatment needed for you. So I first visited NFNB about 5 years ago or so when they first opened. There, I met Beth, the owner, and her daughters, who help her run the spa. Everyone is certified and licensed. I no longer get eyebrow waxing there because my face's chemistry has changed in these last few years, and I had sensitivities to the wax. Thankfully, that has *NOT* happened below the belt, so for that I am grateful!! lol What would I do if I couldn't get a bikini wax or brazilian wax from NFNB?! It makes you feel feminine and pretty! But I digress. So, this isn't some uber-fancypants-let-me-bring-you-champagne-while-you-wait place. This is a spa that offers: -bikini wax -brazilian wax -leg wax -underarm/arm waxing -facial treatments -facials -massage -brow wax -upper lip wax -chin wax -cheek wax -full face wax -laser hair removal I have frequented NFNB on and off for years. Ladies, you know you turn to the ol' handy razor or Nair when it's lazytime, and I am no different...that's exactly what I did when I got lazy. But when it comes to pampering your ladybits, New Face New Body is the place to go. Why? First off, let's be for real-- whether you come in for a brazilian or a bikini, you're still offering your sensitive bits up to hot wax. There can't be ANY easy way that happens. But, miracle of miracles, Beth, Renee and her other daughter are fantastic. What makes them fantastic for a brazilian wax? Instead of making you nervous, or coming up with nervousy chit-chat (been there, done that, at other waxing places), they chat with you authentically, even making you laugh about something, or, especially in Beth's case, giving you some insight about life. And before you even realize it, you're finished getting waxed!! Someone mentioned having a few incidents where they had some strays. Me too. And when I've noticed them, I've asked her to grab them. And when I noticed them too late, I took care of them at home. I also put oil on at home, and that helps to remove any leftover waxy stickiness. Why aren't I annoyed at having to take care of these extra things at home? Because frankly, I paid $25 for a brazilian wax, which was NOT incredibly uncomfortable because of the friendly nature of the staff. That is worth its weight in gold. Do your own research. Compare prices. Sure, you may go somewhere else, pay $50-65 for a brazilian & probably not have stickiness....but for that extra $25+, *if* it does happen, I'll take care of my own wax residue, and put the other $25 in my gas tank, thank you very much. :) Random P.S. I have been going to New face and new body for years. I would like to say that this establishment always does a phenomenal job no matter what treatment you are getting for your body. Not only that but they make it a very personal and very comfortable time while you are at the establishment. I have done facials laser hair removal and many other treatments at this salon and they were all amazing. I think the best part about coming to this salon is that they make you feel like family. When you walk in you are greeted very warmly by all members of the staff and they seem to sincerely care about the treatment that you are getting done. Love this establishment. My first Brazilian wax at European wax center was a NIGHTMARE. When I came here it was the complete opposite. The owner did my Brazilian wax & she gave me numbing spray because she could tell I was nervous & pulled out her phone & turned on Kevin Hart YouTube videos for me to watch while she did my wax. After she finished she gave me a coupon to return in 7-10 days for a free touch up since some of the hairs weren't on the same growing cycle. i have been going to this place for over a year getting brazilian waxes. Everyone has been very polite and I have even referred a few friends there. Recently, I decided to get laser hair removal. I got a package deal - 10 sessions for brazilian with armpits free. After my second session, I sustained multiple burns on my vagina, naval & armpit area. I called and sent photos to the owner Buthyan (Beth) she tried to explain to that these were normal - obviously i knew it wasnt. I explained to her that if she did not give me a full refund I would sue and she hung up in my face and continues to ignore my calls/texts. I never signed any paperwork but i do have a written agreement of the laser package indicating how many sessions alloted vs completed and price. Its a shame that women treat other women this way over a couple hundred dollars. The owner is greedy and negligent. Beware of their services. read more

I go here about once a month for bush maintenance. You can't beat their Brazilian wax prices. Not a big fan of how they do my eyebrows, but eyebrow wax is free with the bush wax, so I can't complain. You can also put the tip on your credit card which I like; some salon-type places don't allow this. 99% of the time I still tip in cash just because I feel a tip should be in cash ~ but if I don't have cash on me I like that I can put it on the card if I absolutely have to. The ladies working in here are generally friendly and welcoming, and FAST. Sometimes you wait in the waiting room a while, but once you're in, you're done quickly. My only whine is that I do visit a tanning bed about 1-2 times a week max, and these ladies never fail to mention to me (I mean every.single.time) how bad tanning is for you and how I shouldn't and blah blah blah....I would think by now they'd realize I tune out during this part and start thinking about fuzzy puppies and rainbows during the lecture. They have also said that I can't be waxed if I have tanned within 2 days, then another "wax technician" there told me not to tan for a WEEK before waxing. Well girls, the second time I came in for a wax I believe I had tanned just hours before getting waxed and well, I am still alive. I suffered no peeling or burning or whatever else the risk was. This may not be the case for everyone, but I swear that I am going to start deducting a dollar from their tips for every minute they lecture me on tanning in the future. I am 34; I know the risks. I appreciate their concern, but I continue to tan. Only complaints: I have called and left messages to make appointments a few times and not gotten a call back. For this nature of a business, I feel that expecting a call back within 1 business day is not an unreasonable expectation. Others: the wax rooms are the only rooms I have been in and sometimes they seem a little unkept, cluttered, the wax pot is covered with wax drips and maybe should be wiped here and there to avoid looking kind of grubby. They use a fresh paper over the wax table every time, but I have to wonder how often the towels beneath it are changed. The paper does not cover the whole table and there are times when I have wiped my own sweaty hands on the towel on the table (waxing the bush sometimes makes my hands sweat! Beauty is pain, ladies!). I guess for the prices I try not to think about it. They get the job done, and cheaply. I haven't gone to them for any other services besides the waxing but you can't beat that price anywhere. I will be back for my monthly dose of tanning lecture and temporary torture. read more

I originally started coming to new face new body right before I moved out of state. Now, I make sure to stop in when I come home to visit. I love the new location. It's much roomier and it seems like they have more rooms to take clients. The price was extremely inexpensive- $35 for a Brazilian which is offered as a walk in service. I've never been anywhere that was less than $50 and you always need an appointment. Brittany took care of me, and she was awesome! She was nice, patient, efficient and professional. I was in and out quickly- the total process took less than an hour. I was worried when I walked in because there were three other customers ahead of me. Overall, I was pleased with my experience and I will continue to come back when I am in town. read more

I first discovered New Face New Body more than a year ago, and I love it. I too think their waxing prices are amazing, and I once had everything from my toes to my belly button taken off, with very little pain. I've also had facials and massages a time or two and enjoyed them very much. The salon is owned by a mother with multiple children who all work there, and one day one of the sons was making appointments. I didn't feel comfortable talking to him about a Brazilian so I hedged, and he very kindly went and got his sister to take my appointment. Also owned by this family is the Shish Kabob Cafe, in the same strip, and the food there is fabulous. If you like spicy, ask for the Shata (sp?) sauce; they make it themselves and it is delicious. read more

My younger sister and I both had an abnormal amount of unwanted It was really affecting our quality of life. We have been clients at New Face New Body for a few years now. My sister received her laser hair removal before me, since hers was much worse than mine. I waited to see her results before committing to laser myself. When she was finished I was shocked to see the results. Her face was completely hairless. They even extended her laser when the initial amount of treatments wasn't enough. (Mind you hers was very bad!) My skin was very sensitive and had bumps from waxing and right away they told me to stop. I started my laser and received a card with a total of around 17 treatments. After about 5 treatments I started seeing results. Even the hairs left were so weak that I was able to pull them out myself. I would do walk ins instead of making appointments Bc of my unpredictable schedule and they always saw me in a very timely manner. I was always in and out. And the whole staff was very kind. My treatments always went smoothly. There is no dark hairs left and since I don't have to thread anymore the texture of my skin has greatly improved. Now that I am almost finished I can say I'm also very happy with the results. My sister and I dont struggle with waxing or threading such a sensitive area. I feel like a new person, and my confidence is restored. They also do great eye brow waxing as well! Overall a great gem in Canton. read more

This review is an update solely based on my experience with an employee Ashley. IDK if she is even still there. I went for a Brazilian and by now I am a returning customer. I arrived on my appointment and was immediately seated. My wax itself was per usual. A few strays but nothing abnormal. I wasn't very happy with Ashley when I left, maybe her bedside manner...idk. Either way expect to spend $35 max for a Brazilian in the event you haven't been in a while, which to me is still amazing. Otherwise you should pay $25 if you go every 4-6 weeks. Oh and before you go you may want to leave your shyness at the door. They literally wax everything. I mean tell you to roll over on your stomach and spread lol. I am so thankful I found this place about 7 months ago. I originally went in for a Brazilian Wax, but I got treated for many other services. I suffer from severe acne, but Beth cleared in right up within 2 months. I also had scars from the acne over the years. Once again Beth managed to get rid of it. Not only did she help my acne disappear, she also gave me many amazing products to take home to help the problem. I now feel confident without makeup on(Which is a HUGE deal for me). This place is amazing. For my first wax, I was terrified that it would be as painful as everyone says it is. I was also slightly nervous about a complete stranger performing it. But when I walked in, the front desk greeted me so warmly, it was almost like we were old friends. I immediately felt less nervous. They made me feel like a part of their family, and not to mention the spa was very clean and well kept. My wax session was very friendly, quick, and professional, and she made sure that I was comfortable at all times. She didn't leave a trace of hair behind! Time to revise. I went to New Face New Body, on and off, for about 3 years. Sometimes, I would go consistently, like every 4-6 weeks. Sometimes, I would wait months between visits. No matter how long I would wait between visits (4 weeks vs. months), the waxing would always be painful, I would often bruise and I would often get ingrowns. I've have more than one waxer here tell me that I'm experiencing all the above because I don't come consistently. (but when I did come consistently, I still experience all the aforementioned ailments). I decided to try somewhere else -- and guess what? No bruising, less pain and I'm not longer walking away sticky. Hmmm, look you have been replaced New Face, New Body --- there is a new waxer in Brazil! Honestly though, I seriously grew tired of lack of refined service that I received here. I spent more time lamenting the poor results of the waxing than actually being happy with the results. I hated that I would have to walk to my car and then drive home all sticky -- counting down the moments till I could get home and shower. I hated that I would call to make an appointment and that often they wouldn't even take my name; but just instead gave a time and I still would have to wait in the seating area for said appointment. I hate how some of the girls would not wax in the direction of the hair growth, causing more pain and potential ingrowns. I hated how I had to take my shoes off the door -- especially if I was wearing sandals or slip-ons. I hated how I felt that rooms were never really, really clean. And finally, I hated how Beth (the owner) once picked the phone and talked to a Google advertising agent as she was waxing my lady bits. Wow...guess the gripes were building up over time! DO NOT GET A BRAZILIAN HERE. Yes, it's cheap, but if I could show you a picture after that last time, I wouldn't need to say any more. But thats not even the only horrible part. I went here a few times before the last (and final) time. At first, it was great. I had a girl named Ashley who did a great job - very professional, friendly, quick, and the pain was very minimal. Since I didn't have her, each time got worse. The other women who work here are the least relaxing, least professional people I've ever dealt with. They make you take your shoes off at the door, re-use the wooden sticks multiple times in the wax, answer the phones in the middle of a session, and will open the door while you are lying on the table but assure you "don't worry, no one is looking". Also, one time they were over an hour late for my appointment, but kept assuring me it would just be a few more minutes. Once they finally took me, they blamed their tardiness on ME for calling for an appointment the same day (then...don't schedule me in?). This last time it was so horrible, I could not even make it up if I tried. Not only did all of the above happen, but the girl who did it clearly had not been professionally trained how to correctly wax. She DID NOT do it against the hair growth, but HORIZONTALLY. It was the most painful waxing experience of my life (which includes bad DIY wax jobs). It bruised, got swollen, broke blood vessels, red bumps and pimples. AND it was patchy. I will never go back and feel horrible for the other people who will be victims to this place. read more

Every girl's dream is finding a competent Brazilian waxer for a fraction of the cost day spas charge, often with similar or worse results. A dedicated waxer who refines and hones her art into a near painless treatment is about as close to zen bliss as I'll ever find. New Face New Body came close to this when I first started going last year, and at the shockingly low cost of $25 ($35 if you need some serious attention or had a long spell between your last waxing), I was willing to overlook a few less than desirable traits. The decline in customer service started in difficulty with arranging appointments, since voicemails are never returned. Our happy relationship encountered real trouble when they gave no notice to cancel my Saturday morning appointment before Christmas. I drove from Ferndale to Canton to discover a locked door, no sign in the window, and several other confused customers. I was ready to offer the spa a second chance and see if this was simply a phase, but my waxing relationship was on the rocks and headed into for a bruising, painful end. Ashley, my preferred waxer, no longer performed them or could never be found at my appointments. Instead, I got a string of appointments with two young ladies educated in the "slap and rip" school of waxing. According to this most unenlightened approach, almost burning wax get slathered on very tender skin, a hunk of gauze rubbed overtop, and the lot ripped away in one go. The method produces extremely tender skin, bruising, broken blood vessels, and dreaded in-grown hairs. Other hairs are missed and New Face New Body's never been one to tweeze away strays, so the uneven effect remains your problem to deal with. Another serious drawback of waxing so callously is the sticky residue left behind on the skin. I seriously dislike the pink-orange wax that resembles nothing so much as the souls of Bubblelicious gum and traffic cones melted into a hellish little cauldron, and after my visits to the spa, I shouldn't have to peel off bits or look for wherever fuzz and clothing clings to me for missing patches. The sticky feeling and the necessary cautious walk to avoid discomfort are signs of a badly done job. New Face New Body is definitely popular. Showing up at opening time on the weekend, I still saw at least 8 to 10 women (sometimes with their little kids) crowded into the lobby. I couldn't imagine how most spas accommodated this many people in such a short time, especially with only two or three rooms. The answer is speed. You are pushed into a room and an often labour-intensive process is over in 15 to 20 uncomfortable minutes -- though your misery lasts plenty longer. They can process three ladies in the time an average waxer takes on one client. I love the price but not the bruising and slapdash job or the pain. From now on, I'm hunting for a better source locally. read more

I went in for a full arm wax. I usually get sugar waxing done at European Wax center, but here they used the preheated roll-on to apply the wax. THIS HURT! The application is so abrasive to my skin, I was bruised so much later that week on both my arms. My waxer was an older woman, I think she may be the owner. She was nice to talk to and smiled a lot. However she missed spots on the backs of my arms. I believe she was in a rush because there were many woman in the waiting area all with the same appointment time as me. Overall I have never had such a painful experience with waxing. Removing the wax was fine but the application is what bruised me up and what hurt the most. =( ***insider tip- the lady told me that their laser hair removal machine is very old, and therefore is not as painless as newer "ice" machines, and it will require more than the recommended 5-6 treatments to entirely remove hair. read more
