Have never been disappointed here. They would deliver promptly to my condo in Little Falls, and when I later moved to Woodland Park the food was always ready when I went to pick it up down the block. We have also ordered out here with family and friends from Bergen County and they all agree that it is delicious. Prices are comparable to all other Chinese places. Husband and I both ordered a combo each, plus a large soup each the other night for dinner...came to less than $25 for pick up. I have ordered through GrubHub over a dozen times. I have not been to the restaurant. Delivery is usually faster than advertised. Great Wall has the typical selection of American Chinese food. It's biggest plus is it's prices. They are excellent and both the quality and flavor not only do not suffer but is quite good. You can get a lot of good food here at a good price. We have ordered fish, chicken, beef and pork and there was nothing we would not order a second time. My wife loves the seafood egg roll. It was such a ripoff. A dish titled chicken and beef in spicy sauce had little chicken and beef and costed over $14 should earn a zero star. Probably one of the worst food experiences I've had in a while. Ordered the lunch special; boneless spare ribs, with pork fried rice. Opted for the spring roll, instead of the soup or soda. Food quality and flavor left a lot to be desired. Lacking and sub-par at its best. Rice was not fully cooked, hard, dry, and a bit over due (tasted days old). Meat was tough, overcooked, and dry with no flavor. Spring roll was super greasy and bland. The entire meal was not palatable at all. The service was completely atrocious as well. Asked for extra condiments and was looked at like I was asking for a kidney (only received one of each to begin with). Due yourself a favor and stay far away from this establishment. I've ordered from New Great Wall multiple times both for delivery and pickup. I have never had a problem with them and they have affordable, yummy food. I love their crab rangoons and dumplings! Ordering during the pandemic was super easy, and during pickup, there was little contact which I appreciated. I went here for the first time tonight, hoping for some decent Chinese take-out. I wasn't expecting much, but even then, I was sadly disappointed with what they presented me. The place is clearly owned and run by a husband and wife, while they have their two children doing manual labor up front. The whole place looked like it needed a good power washing to rid itself of the layer of grease and dirt. A gentleman in front of me was chatting with the woman at the counter, for he was a regular there. This gave me a glimpse of hope that my food would be alright. I ordered the sesame chicken combo platter which came with pork fried rice and an egg roll and an order of string beans. The food was cooked fresh to order and came out quickly. Regarding taste, everything was loaded with salt. I am someone who loves salty snacks, but this was way overboard. I ended up chugging three glasses of water while eating to address my body's dire need to be re-hydrated. The sesame chicken and egg roll needed a bit more time in the fryer to crispy up. The egg roll was a sad pasty version of the golden brown image I expected. The string beans were drowning in the brown sauce with some sliced carrots and water chestnuts. I am in no rush to return to this place. There are enough options in a 1 mile radius for me to be picky in where go for my Chinese fix. read more

We started ordering take out from Great Wall about 15 years ago. Maybe more. The food is always made to order and delicious. You are always greeted with a smile if you are picking up. Delivery is fast and friendly. We love the Mu Shu Pork and the Sesame Chicken. But we have never been disappointed by anything we have ever ordered. And we have ordered alot!! It is run but a wonderful family and it always makes me smile to see them. The looks can be deceiving. While there are few tables this is really a take out place. Its a bit of a hole in the wall.
