I realize that there are delays in deliveries due to Covid, and Gofer It!'s website makes that abundantly clear...but here's the crazy part: 8 minutes later I received a dispatch notification and 20 minutes after that the driver was knocking at my door to pick up the package! My package was safely delivered to its location in under 2 hours and they provided delivery notes as to who signed for the package and when. It wasn't until today, however, that I was prompted to write a review...For today's order, there was some sort of miscommunication, and the pickup didn't go as planned. I was deep in meetings and didn't get their multiple attempts to correct the situation while the driver was there at the pick up location. Long-story short, I was going to be charged a fee for the failed attempt; but in the back of my mind, I wasn't fully sure it was my fault (they way I placed the order?). Doesn't really matter though - we reached a stalemate, I was frustrated, and went and got a quote from another company and was about to push the button (literally), and BOOM - get a from an 818 number - thought it was someone else - picked up, and it's one of the Redline owners who had overheard the call with me. He's pleasantly (and really genuinely) calling to fix it, and get the order resolved. Classic moment where he wanted to put the customer first - keep me as a customer and move on. I get it - these guys had to pay to have someone make the trip out there, stand around for a bit, and leave empty handed...I get that. But, to me, it wasn't 100% clear that I was in the wrong (gave the wrong address, time, or the product wasn't ready, etc.), so for Redline to take the hit, and keep my business, was solid. The hot tub was bunkered down deep in a sort of garden pit with barely enough room to walk around it sideways, but this didn't deter these heroes. They straight up levitated that 900LB SOB and brought her back to the land of the living!!!!!!! Then they discovered that the neighbors had built their wall a little higher since the jacuzzi was put in place so the eve of the house was about 4 inches too low to get it out. Gracefully the homeowner was so incredibly kind and wanted my family to have this monstrosity of a hot tub that she agreed to have them CUT HER EVES!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! They didn't even have the right tools but managed to make it out!!! Homeowner was pleased with their craftsmanship. They kept me updated with arrival times and were extremely courteous. When they arrived (right on time) they planned their attack with pin point precision. Making minor adjustments along the way. Making sure to not harm any of the existing grass, landscape, patios or any obstacles in their path. Then, ever so gently, they placed my new, precious, beautifully transported hot tub into place. And that's not all. They proceeded to give me all of the previous owners accoutrements as well as a full tutorial on how to make certain it would last for years of hot tubbing bliss. They left promptly but not without a sweet farewell and a small request to write a yelp review. They deserve so much more. These heroes of the hot tub. May they move many many more.
