I've used these guys multiple times over the last year or so - and have always been totally satisfied. It wasn't until today, however, that I was prompted to write a review...For today's order, there was some sort of miscommunication, and the pickup didn't go as planned. I was deep in meetings and didn't get their multiple attempts to correct the situation while the driver was there at the pick up location. Long-story short, I was going to be charged a fee for the failed attempt; but in the back of my mind, I wasn't fully sure it was my fault (they way I placed the order?). Doesn't really matter though - we reached a stalemate, I was frustrated, and went and got a quote from another company and was about to push the button (literally), and BOOM - get a from an 818 number - thought it was someone else - picked up, and it's one of the Redline owners who had overheard the call with me. He's pleasantly (and really genuinely) calling to fix it, and get the order resolved. Classic moment where he wanted to put the customer first - keep me as a customer and move on. I get it - these guys had to pay to have someone make the trip out there, stand around for a bit, and leave empty handed...I get that. But, to me, it wasn't 100% clear that I was in the wrong (gave the wrong address, time, or the product wasn't ready, etc.), so for Redline to take the hit, and keep my business, was solid. Made my day, guys. We need more of this...I was feeling a little let down until that call came through. You'll keep my business, that's for sure. read more

On Friday I received a call from Tommy because my gate was locked and he was unable to deliver my package. He noticed that my neighbors were a little shady looking and didn't feel comfortable just throwing the package over the gate. He went above and beyond. He called me to ask when I would be home and made arrangements for the package to be delivered upon my return. This involved calling multiple people and coordinating the final delivery. I had the most amazing service! Amazon sent a package, it just so happened that it was raining at the time & my apartment is not easy to find. My apartment's address, in Sherman Oaks, was not prominently displayed on the street, it took a little investigative work and a smart delivery person to see the adjacent apartments to see that the courier had to go through a gate to find my apartment... Instead of leaving a message with Amazon, which would eventually get back to me, that my package was undeliverable, {UPS Drivers have done that for 20+ years...} Redline Courier's driver, I have to give a SHOUT OUT TO AARON.. he CALLED me on my cell phone... and stayed on the line with me while I walked him down the block, through the gate & to my doorstep! I called tonight to find out what it would cost to courier an envelope from the West Valley area to San Diego the next day and was told by the woman who answered the phone to take it to the post office as they offered express mail service. I asked if she was in the practice of referring customers to the post office instead of offering a quote for their own courier services and was told she was "giving another option" (and, by the way, not one that would work as the post office does not offer same day delivery, which is what I had already explained I wanted). Since she couldn't or wouldn't help I asked for someone else to call me back. I did get a follow-up call soon after and was told it would cost $365 to take the envelope to San Diego the next day. I don't know if this is fair pricing for a courier service or not, but after the poor initial customer service I didn't think I could trust them to do the job right so I'm just going to take it there myself tomorrow.
