Turned over to another rep who evaluated my tire size, etc. 10 minutes later took the car in. 15 minutes later after a complete check I was on the road. Buyer beware. I purchased new tires in 2024. Recently, I took the vehicle to Discount Tire, the…read morelocation I purchased the tires from. I wanted to have the tires rotated and balanced. During the inspection, the sales representative told me that I could not have bought the tires in 2024 because the manufacturer's date, which is stamped on the wall of each tire, is different from the purchase date I provided. Turns out two of the tires were from 2020, the original purchase year of my vehicle, and the other two were from 2021. Prognosis: I needed 4 new tires due to the wear factor of each tire. Once the original bill of sale was produced, I was told that it must have been a manufacturer's error and that the Michelin Primacy tire I purchased isn't very popular, so the manufacturer must have shipped Discount Tire old tires, and the store didn't realize it. The very same day, my wife had an appointment with the same Discount Tire to have a flat repaired. I was told that she drove on the flat for too long and that the tire needed to be replaced. I informed the manager that this was not the case. The drive's flat tire went flat less than 50 feet from my driveway, and the car sat until our scheduled appointment. The manager stated that it was a bad tire and suggested I buy 4 new tires because the tires on the vehicle were hard to locate and match. He also said that he believed that the whole was too large to repair. At that point, I asked the manager to place the tire back in the hatch of my vehicle, so that I could drive the vehicle across the street to the dealer who had just performed a full inspection of the vehicle, including the tires, not more than a week before the flat. The dealer provided a written inspection report, showing that my 2024 vehicle was tip-top, including the tires. At that point, the manager of Discount Tire took the flat tire into his shop, where it was concluded that the tire was not faulty and that it could be repaired.

I may have had less professional experiences with a business, but I can't think of a single one…read morenow. I went in after suffering a flat on a new tire and brand new car. I'm talking less than 2 months on the road. There was nothing on the tire to suggest I had hit a nail or other road hazard. Basically, several employees there told me it was my fault I got the flat and they weren't willing to call Goodyear to inquire about the warranty so I had to pay them the full ~$200 for a tire and labor costs. They also very rudely said that if I had any issue with the new tire I bought from them, there was no guarantee / warranty on the new one either! Decided to get a second opinion. Went to Discount Tire on Napier Ave in Benton Harbor and explained my situation. They made no promises but contacted Goodyear to ask about it. Turns out it was covered because spoiler, it wasn't my fault and Goodyear corporate stands by their products. In any case, had it replaced by them and haven't had any issues since. And there's a warranty on it if anything else happens over the life of the tire. I asked at another shop for my own curiosities, and basically this place should have at least called corporate. As far as I can see, this is a scam shop. Do yourself a favor and don't go here.

Buyer beware!! There are red flags all over this business if you are willing to look for them…read more I've had them do numerous jobs from oil changes and battery swaps, to diagnostic work (good luck), to system flushes, and the takeaway is always the same. This business does not care about your personal property, nor do they care about getting the job done right. They fall short in very simple/basic business practices - If you want updates on the service being provided, its on you to check in; they call you to pick your car up minutes before closing; they didn't know the battery of my car was located under the seat (for a foreign auto mechanic?); the list goes on and on. Scanning the reviews, you can begin to see this is an on-going issue. Recently over the last three months (and three separate diagnostic attempts), I was charged $2500 to fix a temperature sensor - after the third attempt, they instructed me to go to the dealer as they had neither the tools, nor the knowledge to do the work needed. The mechanic basically misdiagnosed the issue from the beginning. Now, they've washed their hands of the situation but not before gladly accepting the money. Mind you by the third attempt, there was zero urgency to get my car in and fixed. I was told I would have to wait a minimum of two weeks before anyone could re-diagnose the issue. (great business practice btw) At the end of the day, this was a stupidity tax on myself for not seeing the red flags and not reading the reviews before hand. Simple procedures should be fine here, but anything serious - I would avoid like the plague.

Autobahn gave me a good price and even put in a used coolant overflow tank that I bought off eBay. I was impressed and they were quick. But this shop messed up the powered steering hose. The car never leaked fluids until this shop fixed the car. Now I put $8 in power steering fluid every week and it promptly leaks out all over the garage. I did take it back in to the shop to have them fix it. They did not charge me for the repair, but they also did not fix the hose. It still leaks. Also before I took my car into this shop the air conditioner worked. Now it doesn't. I can only imagine how much this is going to cost. Thank you guys for effing up my used car. The repair was affordable, but it seems you did $3000 worth of damage to my car. If you are in the market for a mechanic that does more damage to your car than they repair then Autobahn Imports in St Joseph, MI is the shop for you. Oh, there is more. I asked them to flush the transmission and I don't know if they did it. The transmission still slips and when I picked the car up the check transmission light was still on the instrument panel.
