It paired so well with our coffees. It was fresh and a nice balance of crisp tart and warm apple. We also brought one of our dogs with us and Awaken is very pet friendly. I sat in a big soft chair and was very comfortable! They also have two clean bathrooms, i changed in there after hiking. There weren't enough hanging pegs but they were spacious so still good enough. The staff up front were quick and helpful! No trouble there. And there were a decent number of parking spots out back - that said, by the time I left, the lot was completely full. Not sure where else you could park in the area. Overall, if passing and needing a rest I would rec this spot! But I would try ordering something else besides a London fog ;)

We had to microwave them to get them to soften. It is my hope that they were day old and not fresh. They taste was quite bland. Not sure how whoever created them, and potentially tasted them, thought they were good enough to sell. We couldn't even finish them and threw two of them away. I was also disappointed with the selection of pastries, I thought there would be more. I will give the bread a chance next time I go and am not quite ready to write them off but my advice is to stay away from the cinnamon knots!
