Issues are damaged cabinets that need repair, poor installation for cabinets and counters and wrong sizing and initial measurements so things are just off in places. At this point, I have no other recourse but poor reviews or small claims court. 30K for my scratch and dent kitchen makes me so sad every time I'm in it.

Interior shelves are NOT soft close. I spoke with the sales woman and after looking into it she discovered that those items do not come with that feature with that line of Merillat cabinets. Evidently, she doesn't understand what the word EVERYTHING means. I would have been more that willing to purchase a different line, even if it meant more money, but now we're stuck with subpar equipment. She offered to give me partial credit if I purchased a new countertop through them, but I refuse to do any more business with them. Why give them another chance to screw things up. I will not name the sales woman. She's a representative of Reico so it's a direct reflection upon their company by hiring her in the first place. UPDATE - I received a personal phone call from Jim Grace, VP of marketing for Reico Kitchen and Bath. I have to admit that I was stunned that someone in his position would take the time to contact me to let me know that everything was going to be corrected. More companies should take a lesson from him. When the problems are fixed, I will happily change the rating to 5 stars as it would be deserved. Thanks again Jim.

I won't be back I love spending money, but not with companies that allow their employees to disrespect customers.

To say that the situation was challenging would be an understatement, but Gabe never wavered in dealing with the insurance company and the many vendors that were involved in the reconstruction of my home. Their work is impeccable, and Gabe spent many hours working on my case to ensure that everything was done to my specifications and within the allotted budget. He also worked tirelessly to incorporate some other renovation projects into the rebuild so that everything would be done on time. The only reason they missed me with the fifth star is honestly the project manager. He wasn't just a little bad. Like, ok you left a stack of grout bags in front of our backdoor. Annoying. But when he turned on our gas line when he was asked to turn on our water line, I think that did it. Poor Meredith had to be the communication channel for some frustrations we had along the way. She did a really good job of managing that. I wish there had been more accountability to Ferris when they finally removed him from our renovation basically at the end. I would use Meredith and so many of the people that work for Ferris again with nothing but confidence again if I could guarantee a few things would be different that would change the whole of the experience.

There were few minor issues (no one is perfect) but they communicated well and fixed them promptly! They were even kind enough to add in a shelf for a reasonable price for the minor inconveniences.
