Weird..., zero communication after Parker came out and gave us a quote. Actually, I had to send a follow up message on Yelp to get my quote. He had said that he'd email it the day of and he never did. I replied to him asking what were the next steps, I was ready to pay a deposit, and never heard back. ‍ Saw a couple other reviews where this happened. Good communication, quality craftsmanship, competitive rates and good after sales support is what makes a company outstanding but I experienced none of these with New Image Patio Covers because no one bothered to show up for my initial appointment. My experience with them reflects the reviewer Jeff W. left just 9 days ago on Yelp. It's bound to happen sooner or later, but I have to say that New Image Patio Covers is my first "no-show" appointment. No one bothered to show up for an initial consultation/estimate. So, I can't really talk about how the quality of the work when you can't even show up. But I can say this: about four days ago on Mon, Oct 10. I called up their office on a Monday morning at 11:40am and spoke with a representative about having someone come out to give me an estimate. The girl sounded professional and nice enough. When I asked, when is the soonest appointment available they told me Friday which is four days after the initial phone call and during the conversation, by the tone of her voice, they sounded like they were extremely busy so I booked the appointment for Friday, but no one one bothered to show up! I tried calling the office at around 1:30 PM on the day of my appointment but since my appointment window was between 12pm and 2pm, but all I got was a recording and I left a message. I'm really glad that there are other reviewers who had good experiences with this company and got a great patio cover but unfortunately I had the bad luck of no one showing up. This really speaks volumes about the way a company is managed and how staff is run for whatever the reason. I really wanted to see for myself the absolutely great reviews that earned this company 4-1/2 stars and the amazing photos of their work but I can't since they can't even honor an appointment. So can you trust New Image Patio Covers? Well, if one if their staff members actually showed up or in the case of an emergency they called and told me they needed to reschedule it would have been understandable but none of these scenarios ever happened, and I rarely write negative reviews nor do I like writing them. There are far too many companies out there that don't care about any of their clients/customers, is New Image Patio Covers one them? I can't answer that question but I can say (based off of this initial experience) I didn't have a positive one. The communication level for this appointment was extremely poor, no one called me the day prior to confirm (though not necessary but assuring of a company's commitment for follow-through) no one showed and no-one was available to answer the phone the day of my appointment, for these reasons I can not recommend this company as first impressions are one the most important tell-tale signs of a company's follow-through. read more
