I'm all for supporting small businesses because I own a couple of my own! Couldn't pay them to take my business via phone, private message or text. Would not deal with me unless they could come out to the property, no ballpark prices nor email estimates, nothing! Even after explaining that I own a couple businesses and I'm shopping around, so I don't have time to do a half dozen in person estimates. But would decide once I get the top three. Never finished patio cover , so there are air gaps between original patio caver and the two they installed. Fast forward Neighbor is getting a RV cover. And there crew just decides it's okay to set up later from our yard and damaging pool cover that was against wall. And all they say is sorry seniors I live in Las Vegas now , never updated location. When you came and collected final payment , showed you personally what was not right and was told don't worry we will come back and fix it . Also when you do a job you're workers shouldn't leave materials in other yards so there pets or children can get to it. read more

I was given a Free estimate, I gave a down payment. Two days later I called to cancel the request and asked for my $500.00 down payment to be refunded. I was told they would keep 4% as I signed the contract. I told them when I booked that I needed HOA approval and the salesman never mentioned the 4% if cancelled. Overall, the contract is not valid as it was signed by owner (of whom was not present) and not the salesman. After a lengthy conversation. Jacqueline agreed to refund my total amount to my credit card. If this is how they treat customers, I am grateful I cancelled. read more

I contacted Koda Patios for an estimate prior to closing escrow.i spoke to Michelle who was very friendly. My appointment was scheduled and Patrick arrived on time. He was very professional, patient and answered all my questions. He showed me various patio cover designs, and sample colors. He took measurements and explained the process and what to expect. I was given a very competitive quote. I was surprised to have my patio cover installed exactly one month from the day I fist met with Patrick. Wow that was quick considering he obtained city permit and HOA approval. One guy showed up to do the install. I felt bad because it was so hot and he did all the work himself. He completed it in 4 hours!! He did a great job cleaning everything off the concrete before he left. Shortly after the install, Michelle called to see how everything went, which tells me Koda Patios wants to be sure their customers are well taken care of. I thought about hanging string lights and sent a text to Patrick. He was very accommodating and provided a few photos of the types of hooks I should purchase for hanging my lights. My patio cover is absolutely beautiful. I'm so pleased with Koda Patios, and I intend to use their services again for a BBQ cover area and possibly extend the patio cover they just installed. Day one- they came out to dig the hole for my footer. I showed the employee exactly where my underground gas and electrical lines for my pool was. Even though I showed him, he still hit and broke my electrical conduit. He quickly taped up the damaged area with electrical tape and said the actual electrical wires were not touched. We failed our building inspection due to the improper 'fix' of the conduit. Day two- Koda came back out to fix the conduit. This is when I was told the electrical wires were, in fact, damaged. Ugh!!! Koda 'fixed' the broken conduit. Second inspection failed! The inspector said the conduit was not fixed to code. After this, I demanded a certified electrician. The certified electrician came and found Koda tried to fix my damaged electrical wires with stereo electrical equipment. Unreal!!! The electrician said that would have fried my pool equipment motor. Wow!!! The electrician completed replaced the damaged wires with new ones and properly fixed my conduit. This finally passed the inspection. I asked Koda to get the hole filled in and my pavers fixed because I had turf being installed. They filled in the dirt, but didn't fix the pavers they removed. So I had to pay my landscaper to do this so I could get my turf installed. I was then informed by Koda that the manufacturer cancelled my order and it was unknown when my cover would arrive. Even though I was scheduled to have it installed before they broke my conduit. My guess is they gave my order to another customer after THEY broke my conduit and electrical wires. Unreal! The whole experience with Koda has been a nightmare! read more

If I could give Koda Patios more than 5 stars, I would! Exceptional service from start to finish! This is actually our 2nd time contracting with them. They did a huge patio cover project for us in November running along the backside of our home. It was a long cover at 10'x48' and 20'x26' and ready for ceiling fan installation (which we've chosen to do at a later time). We just contracted with them again to do a smaller 10'x17' cover on the side of our home (small dog run). They were on time for any and all appointments, returned calls promptly and made the process very easy. They scheduled this project 1 week after I requested a bid and had it completed within 4 hours of arrival! (I was super impressed with their highly competitive pricing, as well.) Both crews were fantastic, but I especially want to give a shout out to the father/son team who finished our most recent project. Sammy walked me through the process and made sure everything they did was exactly to my preferences. I think it looks fantastic and couldn't be happier -thank you Samuel Jr. and Sr!
