I took my B8 Audi here for a repair and some general maintenance based on their top notch reputation in the Audi/VW world. After confirming my own personal diagnosis of a bad wheel bearing, they clearly outlined the repair costs and options, as well as identified a few things to keep an eye on in the future. At no point did they get pushy or suggest unnecessary repairs. The transparency is much appreciated and is what sets them apart from less reputable shops. Keep in mind, if you are a brand new customer, they may request you pay for the parts over the phone when you give them your verbal authorization to perform the repair. I think this is to protect them from customers trying to scam them which is reasonable. Additionally, they don't have the convenient loaner cars or the long hours the dealer has, but people who come here don't do so for the convenience. I definitely would not hesitate to take my car back here in the future because these guys really know their stuff.

I understand there are times when things may not run on schedule or places are short handed in this case I expressed that my last visit I waited long than I expected and Eric in the service department told me that they were short that day and would try there best to get me out in a decent time frame. Which I appreciated his honesty in the beginning because people can be more understanding if they get an up front answer. My appt was at 12:45 and was told it could be an hour and a half to two hrs. My car was done just after 2pm. While I waited Eric found me in the waiting area about 20mins or so before my car was done to inform me that my car was almost done. They could not and were too busy. The manager was so nice. Without even asking, he called over to STS in Greenbrook to see if they could take me because it's only 10 mins away. They could take me immediately, so I went right over. There was a nice gentleman at STS named Leon and he helped me. I waited a total of 45 minutes.They were very pleasant to deal with and very efficient. I also got replacement windshield wipers on my car. It was a very easy process to deal with this company STS. I call like 4p to ask for a status and he gives me some clap trap about how I didn't make an appointment and he "might" get to it before the EOD. Gee, Thanks Elton. That's the kind of service that will make me want to look you up the next time I have a problem ! Btw, you didn't say in the morning when I dropped the car off that you "might" not be able to get to it. I've had other less than pleasant run-ins with Elton that I won't get into. They also once mis-diagnosed an engine problem I had. They sold me a tune-up when the problem was actually internal. Hey, mistakes happen and I needed a tuneup anyway (car was 10 years old and still had original plugs and wires.) I wound up getting a valve job at another place and am still driving the car, an '02 Impala, today so the tune-up didn't go to waste. With all that said, this is still not a bad place to bring your car. Elton's "tude" aside, they do pretty good work and are solid mechanics. They're just not my first choice if the problem is much beyond your basic brakes, shocks, tune-ups, LOFs, ect. EDIT (3/5/2015): Have to upgrade my review as I recently had a very good experience with Elton. He was very friendly and did not have the bad attitude that was commonplace in the past. The autobody shop, even though they did a great job on the repair, just dismissed me when I asked about the chirp thing. They said to look in my car settings on the dash and adjust it from there. I told them I did and it wasn't the issue but they didn't have any other help to give about it. Mike diagnosed the problem somehow. He saw it was because 1 of the 2 horns in the car was defective.
