We solicited estimates from four tree service companies. Of these, Michael Fisher, owner of We Care Tree Care, impressed us the most. He inspected every aspect of the problem tree. He also looked at other trees on our property. Finally, he gave us the most detailed analysis and recommendation. So, we decided to go with We Care Tree Care. We are so glad we did. Michael Fisher and his team arrived on time on January 12, 2026. They did a spectacular job trimming our two elm trees and one maple tree. They went above and beyond what they had quoted us to trim the big maple tree. Finally, they removed all the broken branches and debris and left behind a very clean job site. During the cleanup process, however, some cables connected to our satellite dish were inadvertently knocked off our roof. Michael wasn't aware of this. On discovering it, we asked Michael to come back and put the cables back. Without hesitation, Michael came back, climbed on our roof, and secured the cables to the house. He truly went above and beyond the call of duty to make these cables tight and secure for years to come. In sum, we think Michael and his team did a stellar job with trimming our trees. They took a one-hour lunch break, and by 3:00pm they wanted to end the "full day" with one tree still unfinished -- and asked us to pay for them to return another day to complete it. They also spent the last hour cleaning up, which took longer than it should have because the worker stationed at the wood chipper was on his phone much of the day. In total, we were charged for a full day but received about 6.5 hours of work, including the hour of cleanup and the time spent sorting out the plan. It took all day and two truck loads of trimmings. Pedro came back the next day to grind all the oleander stumps. Pedro and his guy, worked so fast grinding and filling the holes that I didn't get a chance to see if there was any stump left deep in the holes. When asked, Pedro said he would come back if they started growing back. These guys worked in a safe, organized and efficient manner and Pedro made sure things were cleaned up well afterwards. Just a Note: Two very small things weren't done how I expected them to be completed based on the initial estimate consultation, but I forgot those details and failed to reiterate those things specifically during the overview prior to the work being started.
