The short: good if you want an economical back rub, but service, ambiance & treatment all feel cheap. The longer: my sister had bought a groupon. Upon entering we were told that they changed owners, so they'd no longer be accepting groupons, but that we could call and get a refund. So, naturally, we were like... okay, bye. They stopped us and were like "OK, jk- we will take it but you need to pay tip in cash." Since we drove all the way there, we said okay.. and were led to a curtained off room with two tables & two candles. Your clothes go on the floor. You are instructed to keep your underwear on. Throughout the massage the woman just kept talking to us about the Groupon & how next time we come she'd honor the deal without purchasing it. She was very rough, which was okay sometimes, but we were both made to feel very uncomfortable by the whole situation. I wouldn't go back at all, but again, if you're looking for a cheap couple activity or rub down.. I guess this is a good option. read more

I have gone to this spa with my wife a couple of times now since the new owner took over and we were extremely pleased with our experience. We found the spa to be a clean peaceful setting. The staff has definitely been trained in massage and may I suggest you try their back walking technique absolutely wonderful. I wish the new staff much success.Keep up the great work! read more

I think the rough, untrained lady that I got a foot massage from should return to her homeland. I think I have an ankle injury and PTSD from her meann ass rub! Hardly any oil, lotion, and repeating the same thing for an hour (TORTURE!) No, but, Seriously.. I called first and told them about Groupon, (get a refund). I show up and said I had appt for me & my daughter and she said show me the groupon! I said.. NO.. the last time I was here they said just come back and we will honor the price. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! This has got to be one of the crappiest massages I've ever gotten. We had booked a couples massage and had to wait almost 30 min for a room to be ready. The woman at the front tried to be slick by bringing us to the massage area and saying "oh separate bed ok?" To which I responded no, as that defeats the whole purpose of the "couples massage". So instead we went back to the front reception area and waited the 30 min by sitting there and looking at a horribly dirty fish tank! The water was puke green and there was one poor fish swimming around in it. Only way you could see him was if he came to the very front of the glass tank; other than that, the water was so green you'd never know there was a fish in there. I even said "wow, that water is really dirty and green" which didn't even get a raised eyebrow. Anyways, we finally get into the room (which didn't have a door and only a curtain for privacy) and a female and male attendant come in and start the massage. It was so difficult to relax as they kept whispering to each other and you could hear phone ringing and every single other noise. The male attendant left the room on several occasions to get towels, oils, stones. Why on earth wouldn't he have everything he needed IN the room. His touch was so weak and light and he kept "sighing" while doing the massage. As if he was fed up with his job. If he dislikes it so much, he should find something else to do. Once he was done with the massage he went back out to retrieve a cold, wet towel to wipe off the oil; normally you'd expect a nice, warm, scented towel. Nope not here! My bf told me his massage was ok up until the female attendant told him to go face up. She started massaging his temple, face etc and he said he wanted to barf from her gross garlic breath!! Since we were made to wait, had shitty service, etc. my bf decided to leave a $10 tip and they had the nerve to ask if that was for one of them or for both. So he said both and the woman at the front actually said $10 each is good. Ok so you give shitty service, make people wait while looking at a nasty fish tank, listen to someone constantly sigh, kill you with their rank breath and now you want a better tip! F outta here!!! I have been to Red foot spa a few times in the past for foot reflexology and it was great. I was very disappointed this time when I went for the foot reflexology. The girl I had was too rough. I told her. She was coughing and had no mask. She was talking to someone who called her while working. The manager was new there. When I gave her a tip she told me it wasn't enough for a one hour. Info: Reserved an hour long couple's massage for $62 I'll start with the negatives. The place has rows of alcoves where you receive your massage, much like a row of shower stalls, but the "doorway" to each of these are only curtain. Therefore, any noise from other alcoves or the walkway are very clear - I had to listen to another couple talk and get set up in the stall beside me. This took me out of the relaxing, self-indulgent atmosphere I was attempting to soak myself into, though after a few minutes the couple made no other noise, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my massage in peace. The second negative was much less impactful on my experience, and was simply that the "face hole" did not fit my face and my jaw kind of pushed against the cushion a bit. My girlfriend did not experience this at all, though she shared the same feelings about the noise. With that out of the way, I can move onto the positives, which definitely outshone the two negative things. First, the massage itself was amazing. The masseuse worked my entire body as advertised, starting with a back and neck rub, arm massage and leg/foot rubs. The facial/front part was a great end to the routine. She also used hot stones and towels which were entirely effective at making me feel like I was on vacation somewhere beautiful rather than in a weird Long Island town. The masseuse was very attentive and checked up on me without being disruptive - she also found some knots in my back and worked them out gently. If the sound problem was taken care of, this would have been honestly one of the best uses of $62 (plus tip). When it was quiet, I could sink into a level of relaxation I had never experienced outside of my own home. In addition, a point I had a special appreciation for was the use of towels while switching between different areas - they rubbed us down with warm towels after the back and legs sessions. I left without being oily, and the towel rub felt awesome by itself. Bottom line is: if you want a massage, this is a very good option. Could be better (possibly the best) with a single change (the curtains) but even without that, I had a great massage, my girlfriend approved, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. read more

I know you get what you pay for.......i bought a couples massage through Groupon. First off, I did not feel comfortable at all without a door and just a curtain as a "wall". I heard every single conversation going on either a phone call with the woman making appointments or people getting set up in the "cubbies" around me. It wasn't easy to relax. The attendant kept leaving the room to get stuff like oil, towels, stones which took a lot of time away from my massage. The massage was mediocre at best. But still I wasn't totally turned off (thinking that maybe another masseuse would be better the next time) until the end. We got dressed and were getting ready to leave when I took a menu and was long for the tip envelopes when the man masseuse came running out to the lobby area telling me that I forgot to tip him. I couldn't believe the nerve of someone telling me I needed to tip. I actually would up cutting the very nice tip I was going to give in half, put the menu back on the counter and walked out. read more

This review is based on a particular negative experience so I will keep the entire review just based on the facts of my LAST visit. I am no a person to normally condemn an establishment easily. As my family has owned food businesses and my wife is a doctor specializing in diseases I will only discredit a place if it is dramatically beyond health codes. With that said... For a long time this spa was a twice a month ritual for couples massages for myself and my wife. A once 4+star establishment; the prices were great and the service was amazing. Often going over booked time because they wanted to leave a lasting impression. On this specific day my wife had found a NEW Groupon online and thought we would take advantage. The planner she is she called ahead and asked for appointments stating we were taking advantage of the new Groupon. They gave us a time and we were on our way. Upon arrival they told me it was "new" ownership and that was not there Groupon they also said upon showing them the offer we were told that is not there establishment or phone number. I called the number to prove them wrong and as the phone rung they simply replied "no, not us" They then said they would see us at the Groupon price and we would pay them directly, when I agreed they told me they would charge my card for more money than the Groupon(only $10 more but at this point it was a matter of principle) when I calmly stated that it was more than the Groupon they again said "no" finally enough was enough. I had 3 women and a man speaking over each other at me just telling me to pay. I told my wife to hell with it and we walked out but not before one of the women followed us out and tried to block our car yelling to come back inside. It wasn't until the owner of the barbershop next door assisted me and asked her to go back into the spa and get away from the car. The barber was very friendly very helpful and helped me calm my overly emotional to wife. I would never recommend this place unless the old owner comes back. To be more helpful less than a mile away we found a new spot "Asian foot spa" we have been there twice and I will find and write a review for it on yelp. I've had alot of massages and this one is ranked #1 the worst. First thing to strike me as odd is I was to lay on top of paper. You know like at the doctors office. Not fresh sheets. Then for the first 15 minutes of the massage they massaged my back vigorously through a hard white towel. Reminded me of a crunchy towel you would get at a hotel pool to dry off after a swim. I asked "is the entire massage through a towel?" I was told no and to just lay down. My skin was actually really raw after that and still hurts. You are in a curtained room while you're hearing other people also getting massages. The massage was very fast paced. Not fluid in motion,not relaxing. I wouldn't recommend going here. It's actually called fantastic foot spa in case your driving around looking for a place called long red foot. Save your money, buy a Groupon for another place. I've gone for reflexology several times before at your spa and enjoyed the service. However, today I was extremely disappointed by the service. The woman at the front desk is the one who gave me the treatment. All through the massage, she kept leaving the room fro minutes at a time when someone came to the front door. Someone else should have watched the front and she should have not left me to do this. It was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. The worst massage I have ever received. We were put in a small room behind a see-through curtain. We were then told to undress and lay down on what seemed to be doctors office paper. When the women came into the "room" they laid extremely small towels over us. I am a small woman and the towel barely covered half of my body. I was freezing and uncomfortable for most of the massage. The woman then proceeded to scrape my scalp with her fingernails for fifteen minutes. she was scratching my head as if I were a dog. This was gross and unnecessary. The amount of oil used on my back was also beyond unnecessary. the massage was painful and awkward. She massaged my buttocks for 15 minutes which was not appropriate. I tried to ask her to stop but she did not speak English and this made communication extremely difficult. So much oil was used that the woman had to wipe it off with a wet towel. We also heard the curtain that was supposed to provide privacy, open and close constantly throughout the hour massage. It also felt as if someone was watching us. A man even approached us after the massage was over after "overhearing" a conversation we were having during our session. There was absolutely NO PRIVACY. The entire experience was quite uncomfortable. I have had plenty of massages before and this was beyond terrible. If you value any part of your dignity and or money, please do not make the same mistake I did by buying this Groupon. Groupon should really vet their businesses'. All the photos provided were clearly stock photos. The experience was nothing like what was to be expected. We were horrified by this experience and will be much more cautious in the future.
