Went in to ask about supplements, and was encouraged to purchase an item, being told that I should relax, because I could bring back the product and get a full refund, if it wasn't working for me. I ended up buying it, because there was a "20% all pills" promo that was advertised out front. Turned out that the product wasn't working for me, and upon going back into the store, I was told by another employee that there's no way I could ever get a refund. When I looked up the item I was sold, it turns out that it was actually cheaper to just buy it on the manufacturer's site, even with the 20% discount anyway. And this was apparently one of their own in house brands too (which makes the markup even more confusing). So, in brief, if you see an item in store there that you like, just go online, and check the item's actual REAL price online, because there's a good chance that it's actually sold cheaper by the company that makes it. And don't believe the staff when they tell you to not worry about buying a product, because of their return policy.

I have been on a quest for health for the last 20 years. This search has taken me through all of…read morethe diets and listening to all the health gurus. I went vegetarian, vegan and then raw vegan. I did the liver cleanse, kidney cleanse, spleen cleanse and on and on it went. I did a 10-day Master cleanse and lost 15 pounds of muscle. I did a water cleanse where all I did was drink water. The more cleanses I tried, it seemed the worse I felt. I went up and down in weight and still continued to feel progressively less healthy. The culmination of my obsession was going raw vegan for a year in which my diet consisted of a fruit smoothie in the morning and a green smoothie at night. My raw vegan diet ended with me having a full-out breakdown in the produce section at Whole Foods. I was muscle testing a lemon and I spontaneously broke into tears. I dropped the lemon, walked directly back to the meat counter and bought a filet mignon. That was the end of my raw vegan days. I was confused. I felt drained. I had no energy. I started having a hard time remembering things. I was depressed and I was seriously stressed out! I now realize that I had gotten to a place of resignation about life. I knew I was dying and I had become ok with it. After all of this "running the hamster wheel", I found out about the hair mineral analysis through a nutritionist friend of mine. Believing that I was an expert on all things health, I was really surprised that I had never heard of this process. I met Eva Vennari at S.E.L.F.
