Went here on a fluke, I have my toes done every so often, because of knee injuries can't bend to get them my self. This place was clean and lady very friendly, and did a fantastic job!!! Sometimes at other place I go to hurts me , she at new nails did not hurt me at all. She rubbed legs, and hit them in just the right way!!! This is the place I will go back to as other place I will not after what they did today ( that will be another yelp post ) As for me I give 5 stars As a guy who thought guys don't get nails done, well I was wrong! New Nails always does an amazing job on my nails. I am picky on my nail shape and length and I get what I want every single time. Recently my regular tech has been busy so I had a different tech and my nails were perfect. I can wear a set for at least 4 weeks (obviously I need a fill at that point but my nails look good still and don't break) sometimes longer. Prices are fair and I am always treated well. read more

GO TO ANY OTHER SALON IN THE US. Literally go to any other nail salon other than this one. So many better options. I went here to get a manicure cause I had a bunch of dead skin that had healed cracks the first time they did it it was amazing took all my pain away second time I went in after 6 months when they started causing issues with work again so I went and the manager or owner Aime the second time came over and clipped my nails and cut away the dead skin and stuff in the corners and it made my fingers feel great but the third time I went the lady doing it wouldn't clip them she kept trying to shape them and I don't need my nails filed and shaped I needed them cut fully she literally didn't even pull nail clippers out at all.... used cuticle cutters to cut away leaving sharp straight edges and left hang nails so I went by on my way home from work and Aime said she would take care of me if I ever needed anything and I said I need my nails fully clipped and this redone because I shouldn't have left there with nails that had jagged torn off edges and I realized she didn't even clip the toe nails so I went back and she seemed agitated she had to do it because the other lady wouldn't do it right and this is extremely painful I work very hard and can barely even pull my blankets over me going to bed at night now. If it was possible to take legal action on them for doing this to me on purpose I definitely would. Karma is a terrible thing though so I'm sure this place strives as much as their 2 star total on reviews and they have what's coming to them. I can not believe how much pain this place has caused me. STAY AWAY. Yikes. I don't even know where to start. The place is small, which probably contributed to the almost overwhelming smell of polish/chemicals that hit us as soon as we walked in the door (with masks) and remained throughout our hour-long visit. The staff was masked (most of the time), which was appreciated. At one point several minutes in, I started to suspect that the tools they were using were not clean as they were just all sitting out together (not wrapped, and looked well worn). Soon after, I saw my tech inspect one of the metal tools she had already been using to trim my nails/cuticles, and then throw it her small garbage can. She proceeded with a different tool that was also just sitting on her cart unwrapped. No idea if it was clean. My friend had her tech nick up her cuticles so badly with the rotary tool while taking off her gel polish and she was in extreme pain later from the acetone on her open wounds. Mine nicked my toes as well (but not as bad thankfully). I didn't even have gel polish on to remove. My friend's tech also pulled a grater/shaver out from the tray he was using that had a HUGE mass of dead skin already on it. It was absolutely disgusting. I wish I had gotten a photo, because it was stuff made of nightmares. I gasped. He started to use it on her feet and in that split second, she noticed and said something to stop him. Thank goodness. He looked at her confused as she repeatedly tried to keep him from using it on her feet, and then eventually another tech started talking to him from a cross the room. After about two minutes of them going back and forth, he went to the sink in the back and rinsed the tool off and came back to try to use it again. My friend asked for a new tool. We then started asking if the tools were being disinfected between clients, and we were never given any response other than the four staff all talking among themselves. (We don't know what any of them were saying, which would be fine if they had acknowledged our questions and answered us, but they never did. I definitely don't expect everyone to speak a language we understand - this isn't about a language barrier - but attempting to communicate/acknowledge when a customer is speaking is important in customer service.) At one point, a new customer came in, and they sat him in a chair that had just been used without ever washing the bowl. They tried that with the next customer after me, but we spoke up and told them it hadn't been cleaned out. It still had lotion in it from my pedicure. They then did clean it before serving her. While we were sitting waiting for our nails to dry, they started frantically cleaning everything in sight. They even pulled tools out of carts that were closed up to clean. Only after we said something did they attempt to clean any of the bowls that had been used while we were there. It was like they had forgotten that you needed to clean a single thing until we mentioned it. I'm appalled. We got a "so sorry" twice from one woman who wasn't either of our techs. No acknowledgement at all that we were put at risk by them using dirty tools or equipment - or that it was just a mistake. It is clearly just how they operate, and that's truly frightening. I want to take a disinfecting bath after being in there. Wow. I am still confused and worried that I'm going to get an infection or fungus or something from their tools and bowls. Now I'm wondering about everything else that might have been dirty/reused. Towels? Gloves? Does anything get cleaned let alone disinfected ever? read more
