Very impressed!! We tow and I like pull through, but all sites here are back in. The sites with level concrete pads are wide and deep and nice spacing between sites. A very nice grocery store supplied with many NOLA foods and novelties. But the bathrooms! There is only one door into the shower and bathrooms and didn't know what to expect. But there are separate rooms for gender and plenty of stalls. The showers have a solid locking door with a change room before the shower. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I didn't expect this nice of a park basically in an urban area. Not far from everything you need or to do. We were so impressed we booked an extra night.

We needed to find an RV Park that was close to where my son and his family live for a long weekend visit. We were fortunate to be able to get a last minute reservation at the KOA park on the July 4 weekend. The park has easy in and out access, and the check in process didn't take long. Staff guided us to our spot, which was right across from the swimming pool, and in front of the laundry building. It was great for convenience, but there was more traffic than we would normally prefer, but given it was a last minute reservation, we weren't complaining. The park is very clean and well maintained. There are staff constantly going around the area to take care of things. All were friendly and helpful. Given that the park is literally in the middle of a large city, it was surprising to have so much shade and so many trees. The park being an older park helps with that. It's not new, but as I said, very clean and well maintained. It is very well located to anything and everything in the New Orleans area. Just minutes from just about anything. The only real noise we heard was the train at night. I'll be sure to bring earplugs for that next time for my husband, but it didn't really bother me. We will definitely stay here again!

The main feature is a 1.8-mile paved loop that routes you under gorgeous ancient live oaks and past peaceful lagoons (you might even catch a glimpse of the swans!). For those looking for a softer foot strike or a good trail run, there's a 2.2-mile dirt path around the perimeter--just a heads up that it gets pretty muddy after it rains. Budgeting about an hour is perfect if you just want to soak up the scenery and wildlife. Alternatively, there is a beautifully maintained golf course right in the center. Whether you're logging miles, taking a meditative stroll, or playing 18 holes, this park is an absolute must-visit.

The exercise stations along the way are a great bonus for a full-body workout. Parking on Magazine Street or St. Charles Avenue is convenient, and the park's location near Loyola and Tulane Universities makes it easily accessible. There are water stations available, and the ponds and duck-watching areas are always a treat. The loop is about 1.67 miles, and I enjoy going around twice for a great workout. The park is always well maintained and kept in beautiful condition. A true NOLA gem!

Really. No one has reviewed the great city of Kenner? I find this hard to believe. After all, we…read moreall go to Kenner to go to the airport. Otherwise Kenner is just a suburb of New Orleans which is really too bad because it' has a really long history. Did you know that there used to be a street car all the way from the city to Williams & Jefferson Highway? It ceased in 1931.

Kenner is a suburb of New Orleans that is home to the major airport for the area. It is home to Lafrienerre park, a large park with a concert meadow, dog park, lakes, walking paths and so much more. It is the 6th largest city in Louisiana. This is a sleepy suburb that hasn't had much going on. The Louis Armstrong airport, which services New Orleans is located here. It is home to the training camp for both the basketball team and the football teams for New Orleans, and home to the minor league baseball team for the area. Esplanade Mall is in Kenner, is huge, but is largely outdated. I don't think this has been a major source of excitement in quite sometime. It is as if the zombie apocolypes has happened, and the undead haven't made it here. The living don't really show up here either, but I think that malls across the country are having this issue as well. The only Octoberfest in the area is in Kenner, by the river. The only interesting thing I could find out about Kenner is that in 1982, Pan Am Flight 759 crashed in a residential area of Kenner when a microburst forced it down. 8 people on the ground were killed, as were all 145 people on the aircraft. Six houses were completely destroyed and five more substantially damaged. Again. the only gender neutral restrooms are port-a-johns, which are only available under certain conditions, like festivals.
